P6: Harry Styles ‘really wants a baby, he’s been telling his friends that’

Last week, we heard that Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz are possibly engaged. Zoe is wearing a large diamond-looking ring on her left hand, and this week, People Mag confirmed the engagement. I actually always believed that the engagement could be real, but it doesn’t follow that Zoe and Harry will actually get married and “settle down.” Incidentally, we haven’t talked about their ages – Zoe is 37, Harry is 32. I knew they were both in their 30s but I thought they were closer in age for some reason. Still, with both of them in their 30s, it does seem probable that they’re thinking of family-planning. Apparently, Harry has baby fever.

Disco daddy? People around Harry Styles suspect that he and Zoë Kravitz will have kids sooner rather than later, Page Six hears. A while before the couple got engaged, sources had already been telling us that the “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” singer was dead set on having a child, even if it was on his own. And now that Styles and Kravitz plan on settling down, we’re told his pals are sure that a small Styles is in the offing.

“He really wants a baby,” a spy told us back in January. “He’s been telling his friends that.”

The 32-year-old’s sister, Gemma, had a daughter in 2024, and it seems to have gotten the superstar thinking about family and how he prioritizes his ever-explosive career. He told the Times of London that he had a break from performing around the time of her birth and that it changed his outlook.

“My sister had a baby, and at any other time in my life, I would have missed a lot of that,” he told the paper. “To be there, to get to know my niece as she’s growing up, it’s so obvious to me what’s real. It was really obvious that was where I wanted to be.”

Last week, Page Six broke the news that Styles and Kravitz had gotten engaged after dating for just eight months. “He is completely smitten,” an insider told us. “He would jump off a cliff for her.” The source added, “No one in their circle is surprised.”

[From Page Six]

I’m not trying to stereotype by nationality, but from what I’ve seen, British guys tend to be more eager for fatherhood and starting a family. I think it was telling that Harry had an affair with Olivia Wilde, a mother of two, and that he was quite happy to spend time with Olivia’s kids. I would be willing to bet that many of Harry’s British dude friends are already fathers. Like, British men get baby-crazy, moreso than American men. I guess I’m saying that I believe Harry has fatherhood on his immediate agenda, although who knows if he’s actually making plans to really make it happen in a real way.

Didn’t Zoe say at some point that she never wants to have kids? She doesn’t seem like the type to choose parenthood, and her career is riding high right now. I can’t see her having a kid right now if that would cost her opportunities in acting, directing, producing, etc.

Women these days, with the means, freeze their eggs to use at a later date. So wanting a baby in the future will not derail her career. Hopefully, they have had this discussion.

    I hope he doesn’t. I can’t have a crush on man with a kid. 🙂

Hmmm. If there is a distinction bw American and British men about wanting to have babies earlier, it might have to do with the cost of health care. Not necessarily an issue for rich musicians but maybe for the overall vibe between the two countries in relation to starting a family.
