It feels like “Queen Mum” Carole Middleton has been tasked with doing “royal appearances” this week too, right? The Windsors made a huge deal about how they were furiously booked and busy this week, as counterprogramming for Prince Harry’s UK visit. It feels like the royal courts “encouraged” Carole and her family to make sure that they are out and about as well. On Monday, Carole made her first Wimbledon appearance of the year, sitting in the second row of the Royal Box, just behind Roger Federer. Carole went to Wimbledon with Pippa on Monday. And now today, Carole turned up at Wimbledon with her long-suffering husband Michael Middleton.
Someone made the point that Wimbledon should cut off Carole’s Royal Box tickets until she pays off her mountain of debt. That’s funny, because it’s clear that the establishment decided in 2024 to sweep Carole’s bankruptcy shame under the rug as part of a broader deal. Since 2024, you will not catch any British outlet even mentioning Party Pieces’ bankruptcy or Carole’s many lies and schemes.
Also attending Wimbledon today: Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter(batch). This gingham dress is maybe the best thing Sophie has ever worn? I absolutely LOVE this on her.
