Yesterday, Radar Online claimed that Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s divorce was imminent and that the two had already reached a financial settlement. Brooke and Charlie have been living apart for some time, and he’s said to have moved his latest “girlfriend,” a paid escort, into their home. According to Radar, Charlie and Brooke’s agreement was all but sealed but the two made a pact not to disclose the news until Charlie’s domestic abuse case was settled in Colorado. Cue the denials by both Charlie and Brooke’s reps, who call the stories “over speculation” and claim that their clients are trying to work it out.
Though their reps have admitted that Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller are having marital issues, they are still trying to make their relationship work.
“Please let us clarify this: They are not seeking a divorce nor has one been contemplated,” according to a joint statement released Monday by Mueller’s attorney, Yale Galanter, and Sheen’s longtime friend and Two and a Half Men executive producer, Mark Burg.
Furthermore, “there has been no financial agreements between the parties of any sort. Stories to the contrary are false,” says the statement.
“This is a difficult time and they need space to see if they can work things out or not,” Yale tells PEOPLE.

Meanwhile Charlie has not yet reached any kind of agreement with CBS to return to Two and a Half Men for another season. TMZ reports that they’re not even in negotiations at this point, but that it could change and that talks are likely to take place right before the fall schedule is announced on May 19. Charlie is thought to be grandstanding for more money, and was reportedly offered $1 million an episode and is asking $1.5 million.
I hope Brooke got a decent settlement, but she is said to have a prenup. A source told Radar “It’s not everything she wanted. It’s not even close. But it’s enough.” It sounds like she just wanted to get out as soon as possible. Given everything we’ve heard about Charlie, I don’t blame her.

Yeah, I believe the marriage is over and the PR team is trying to keep it quiet because of his legal problems and negotiations with CBS. I was hoping Charlie would be screwed by both Brooke and CBS, but that is not likely.

This marriage is dunzo. Actually, this marrriage was over before it even started. There are some couples who should NEVER have children together and this is one of them.
Brooke needs to get her shit together and take care of her kids. Brooke must be a complete idiot if she thought Charlie was going to be a prince charming and a great father. This guy is a life long loser and womanizer.

Charlie should be sterilised and forbidden from marrying again. He’s got his drugs, booze, and hookers, and that works for him. He needs to stay unattached so he can’t ruin anyone’s life besides his own.
CBS needs to tell Charlie to get bent. Everyone involved with him needs to make a clean break and move on without him.
He comes across as so sleezy, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at him without SLEEZE ringing in my ears. His hair/wig sucks too. Maybe he’ll fix it as it grows back.

I used to think Charlie was funny and that his “boyish” antics were just for thrills. It made for a good joke, right? Not so.
At this point, I couldn’t care less if he and Brooke dropped off the face of the Earth. I just feel bad for their two boys and Charlie’s other 3 girls to have such sleazy, rancid (step)parents.
