Several weeks ago, WENN put up a series of photos of Gwen Stefani and added the news that she was expecting her third child. I was surprised, just because before that moment, I wasn’t aware that she had announced anything. Well, she didn’t. WENN just got the report from random sources, then put up the info like it was breaking news. Since then, most photo agencies have been on minor bump-watch, and over the weekend there were even new photos of Gwen looking bumpy. Now her rep tells E! that she’s NOT expecting:

Trying to put an end to the ongoing round of bump watch, a rep for the pop queen tells E! News exclusively that Stefani is not pregnant, have no doubt about it.
Over the past week, paparazzi took notice of the singer’s baggier-than-usual clothing and tendency to carry a big bag over her belly. Which, if you look closely, probably isn’t any rounder than usual.
Stefani is already mommy to two sons, Kingston, who will be 4 this weekend, and 21-month-old Zuma, with hubby Gavin Rossdale.

It’s really none of my business, and if she was pregnant, I just would have wished her well and gone along with my day. But I do find it strange that for weeks her reps were all “no comment” and now all of a sudden they’re denying it. So… she’s not pregnant. She’s just been posing for candid photos in really baggy clothes and pronounced “bump” for weeks. Did Gwen want some attention or something? Or is it our fault for raising the bump-watch flag every time a girl eats a burrito? Honestly, I’m not blaming myself. I kept seeing photos of her where she looked pregnant, and seemed to style herself as if she was carrying a bump. I didn’t run the other story until WENN “confirmed” it, so whatever. I mean, who wears these outfits in late May (in California!) when they’re NOT pregnant?
She might of lost the baby.
It’s so strange to me how she looks almost exactly the same as she always has yet somehow has gone from fun, girly cute to serious, over done angry. Sad.
I was thinking the same thing, Crash. I hope not, a miscarriage is such a terrible thing to go through.
Perhaps she miscarried. I hope not, it’s sad and hard to go through, but a possibility. Which could explain why there was no comment for a while and the wearing of the big baggy clothes.
I thought about that too, Crash, but I really don’t think that’s the case. I think she’s pregnant and waiting to announce it, and her rep just decided to lie instead of saying “no comment”.

I love her, but these photos are disturbing. Before I read the header I thought this piece was about Courtney Love. Maybe it’s the bangs? I don’t know, but whatever it is, I don’t like it.
The pregnancy reports were not just based on her “bumpiness” but also because she was photographed wearing Seabands bracelets on both wrists. These are apparently used for sea sickness, motion sickness and morning sickness. Since she was walking on dry land most people naturally concluded that she was wearing the bracelets due to morning sickness.
It is terribly sad if she did have a miscarriage, but I’m leaning towards Kaiser’s theory that her rep is just taking a creative method to stopping the rumors until she is ready to announce.
Her eyes are sad so I suspect a miscarriage as well, poor thing.
She looks pregnant in that first picture. Whatever is going on with her I hope she’s well.

WE have never seen this woman without her makeup and with roots. I have to admit, I am amazed.
I hope it wasn’t a miscarriage, but if it was, my sympathies go to her.
I would guess miscarriage too. I lost a baby 6 weeks ago (number 3 pregnancy), and having got to 9 weeks I had started to develop a small bump. I still look a bit pregnant to people and I dress to hide it.

As with a lot of other celebrities, Gwen is so thin that when she gets bigger boobs and a little poochy, it’s inevitable that the baby speculation begins.
Yeah, it’s speculation, but she looks pregs to me. Kaiser’s right, who wears long, heavy black layers in early summer in California? A month or so ago, she was wearing fewer and lighter clothes. I like the new haircut on her, although she needs to *do* something with it if she’s going to keep plastering on that much lipstick.
Anyone remember that video she did for “4 in the Morning” where she just had a tiny bit of makeup on? She was so pretty!

I don’t understand bump-watches. Obviously if she’s far enough to have a bump, she’d have to be around 5 months to be showing, and since she’d be way past the first trimester, most likely she would have announced it by now. If she miscarried, she wouldn’t have been far along enough to be showing (at least that was my experience.)
I don’t see how so many people forget basic biology when it comes to prying into celebrities’ lives. Just because someone gets pregnant, doesn’t mean they wake up with a bump the next day.
Can we please respect these celebrities? We can make fun of and comment on their hair, makeup, social life, but when it comes to their health and possible baby’s health, they deserve their privacy.
Oh i hope nothing happened because she was definitely pregnant. Pictures do not lie. Maybe they just want to sell it as cover story so not saying shes pregnant?

Geez, I forgot the little one was called Zuma. That still hurts.
She has change the makeup and hair routine. It’s not even pancake at this point–it’s pound cake makeup– has to stop. I’ve seen photos of her with darker hair and it’s really cute, so I don’t know why she keeps sticking with this shade of ‘bio-hazzard’. Even Robert Smith switched from Mary Quantz to MAC, do you want to be outdone by Robert Smith’s makeup?
I get that she’s created this image, but she can change it up. It’s just looking rather harsh and ghostly and does a pretty face a real disservice. She’s got herself decked out like a Phyllis Diller nightmare, and though I love The Dill, hers is a look that’s not really suitable for other awesome broads who aren’t 92. Free your face, Gwen, do it for Zuma…oy.
I hope she didn’t miscarry, and for all of my joking, I hope she’s well and happy and such. And I do love The Dill.
@Lemon Drop: In both my pregnancies I went from not showing to literally not fitting into any clothes overnite. In fact, it just happened with this pregnancy yesterday, and I’m only 13 weeks along. With subsequent pregnancies, women do tend to ‘show’ sooner (especially if they’re quite slim to begin with), so with a 3rd pregnancy, it’s quite possible that she was showing as early as the end of her 1st trimester.
I do hope that she’s doing well, and just waiting for the right time to announce it. And maybe she just looks miserable because she’s sick as a dog. I’ve had ‘morning sickness’ 24/7 for 7 weeks now and have a 2yr old, so it’s EXTREMELY draining. I can’t imagine being this sick and have two children!
