Teri Hatcher’s new hairstyle: totally cute or just terrible?

Teri Hatcher has cut her hair! According to Marie Claire UK, we are to refer to this hair style as a “a flicked-fringe bouffant bob.” Now you know. Teri has been wearing it past her shoulders for years now, although as some have already pointed out, this new haircut looks a lot like her hair from the Lois Lane days, in the 1990s, when she first got famous. So, what do you think of Teri with the shorter, more age-appropriate hair? I’m kind of meh on it, honestly. It doesn’t look bad, and she has nice hair… but this style does age her, doesn’t it? While she used to look like a 40-something woman clinging to sexy cougar-hood with her long hair and skimpy gowns, she now looks like Mary Tyler Moore, and like she’s two seconds away from covering up her a bad neck job with a permanent turtleneck on stand-by.

By the way, what of Teri’s infamous Botox comments now? First it was “I’ve never Botoxed, that’s for suckers.” (I’m paraphrasing.) Then quickly it was Actually, just kidding, no judgment.” Look at her face! Jacked times infinity.

both cut and colour look pretty awful

  2. RHONYC says:

    hello old.

  3. skibunny says:

I dont like it. At least not in this picture.

  4. dj says:

I remember her from Lois & Clark days. Her cut on that show was much more chic. I think it is just a poor cut and it will work itself out. She looked great before with a bob.

  5. Wanda says:

Styled completely wrong. Her dress is very unflattering as well.

  6. Marjalane says:

Probably a cute cut, but styled too fou-fou.

  7. serena says:

It’s terrible. And that dress too.

  8. RobN says:

Not aging well. She’d look so much better ten pounds heavier.

  9. Ron says:

The Senior Citizen look is so hot.

  10. Alexandra says:

I love the hair, but that thing she’s wearing is beyond terrible. Everything she’s wearing is beyond terrible, actually, now that I look at it. But I really like the hairstyle, and she looks very happy too, so that’s another big plus.

  11. guesty says:

    um no.

  12. Anguishedcorn says:

No manner of haircut will make up for the fact that she’s simply not attractive. I think it’s the rancid aura of desperation that eminates from her at all times: too-wide smile, crazy eyes, unflattering style that doesn’t refect her age… it all adds up to a woman who is suffering from body and self-image insecurity, who is trying to convince the world and herself that she is happy, young, and sexy.

  13. Team Bethenny says:

She should be careful. She’s starting to look like Danielle Staub.

  14. P.S. Holy balls, she IS Danielle Staub.

  15. Jeri says:

It will look better grown out a little, like shoulder-length.

I always wonder about weaves when women cut their hair very short. (hello Janet J)

Not all women but some seem suspect, especially when the cut is not flattering. Of course you can’t tell it won’t be flattering ahead of time.

  16. workerbee says:

The haircut’s alright, but the rest of the outfit HAS to go!

  17. hellen says:

Haircut is fine, it’s her thrashed face that’s the problem.

And that random outfit is not doing her any favors either.

  18. RHONYC says:

    @ hellen

    ‘thrashed face’ lmao!!!!

ouch, that was harsh. but funny! 🙂

  19. spanks says:

    she looks awful.
She’s a perfect example of what NOT to do when you’re getting older. I’d bet she would look a lot better if she just would have left herself age naturally.

  20. KateNonymous says:

Choppy bowl cut–not cute. It’s the messy version of a hairstyle sported by a second-grade classmate of mine in the 70s.

  21. lana lane says:

Gawd. She would look 20 years younger if she’d just gain a little weight.

  22. jane16 says:

I think she looks fine. Shes almost 50 isn’t she? What is she supposed to wear her hair and dress like a teenager?

  23. Ellen Smith says:

Get that wonky nostril fixed, for crying out loud!

  24. hanh says:

eh not really feeling the hair either but it doesn’t look bad, just not WOW.

  25. Mistral says:

    I dunno, I think she’s cute.

  26. john wilson says:

this woman could be bald and i would still ‘lust’ after her

  27. Psyren says:

The cut is actually cute, it just needs a little styling. It’s the dress that’s f*cking things up.

  28. sparkledog says:

    is she wearing…huraches???

  29. Lardy Chops says:

She’s aged 20 years in….however long it takes to get a haircut.

  30. hmm says:

Am I the only one seeing what looks to be pulled-back hair on the right side (her left)? It doesn’t look like a bob, it just looks like there are layers in front that didn’t fit into a bun or ponytail or something. That being said…bad hairdo.

  31. Ruffian9 says:

I’m more concerned with her face, actually. Something just ain’t right there…

  32. OtherChris says:

I don’t think longer hair has to be age inappropriate. Most women look better with shoulder length hair for the exact reason this cut looks awful and aging on her. I’m not talking long, big hair, but shoulder length is just better on most people. This cut is aging and would have worked okay if she was younger, but now it just looks old lady.

And really, she used to be so pretty. That’s not just getting older, that screwing up your face.

  33. paranel says:

She looks very very Grandma-ish and I’m not just talking about the hair.

  34. Cruisin Through says:

Between the outfit and her hair, she looks like she’s in her mid fifties.

  35. albeli says:

It ages her a lot & accentuates her wonky features. Not a good look.

  36. chino says:

She’s starting to look like Karen Carpenter. Very sad!

  37. Camille says:

    Don’t like it at all.

  38. la chica says:

she looks like an older Alyssa Milano

  39. Crash2GO2 says:

She just looks so DIFFERENT than she used to. I think a good 5 to 10 lbs would help a lot. I am her age, and I asked my coworker to tell me if I ever start looking ‘like that’. Honestly, I don’t know what’s happened to her.

  40. lucy2 says:

Ouch her face looks so tight! I agree that a few pounds might help too. I can’t even focus on her hair.

  41. Shay says:

At the age of 77, even Joan Collin’s looks better than Hatcher, and that’s before and after the surgeries. I’d hate to wake up next to Terri Hatcher!

  42. Maritza says:

She used to be so beautiful…old age sucks!

  43. Deeana says:

I just saw Terri in person at the Malibu Triathlon in early Sept. Watched this woman swim 1/2 mile in the Pacific Ocean and come bounding out onto the sand.
She reached up, took off her swim cap, shook out her hair, and she was GORGEOUS! Later she revealed her fantastic shape in a fuschia colored one piece bathing suit by rolling down the top of her wet-suit to her waist.
I do not particularly like this dress. The haircut is okay, but I liked her long hair. Looking at her eyes, I do NOT think she’s had a lot of work done to her face. Probably Botox. I think her neck is just her neck.

I was 5 ft. away from her for several hours as she was part of a relay team located immediately in front of where I was standing. She is actually very, very attractive.

  44. Stubbylove says:

Teri used to be SO GORGEOUS. Not aging well – way too skinny – she looks like death walking.

  45. mystified says:

This has got to be Mary Tyler Moore or Helen Gurley Brown!

  46. Ron says:

From glamorous to mediocre. Seriously, a woman who has long, beautiful hair in her 40’s should keep it. Period. She appears five years older now, at least. Still lovely, of course. A bob looked much better on Teri when she was younger, I think. I think that most women carry short hair better in their twenties, and long hair is much more flattering after 35.
