Kat Von D was on Joy Behar’s CNN show (video segment above) to promote her new book, The Tattoo Chronicles. She seemed like such a space cadet to me, but maybe it was the accent, which Jesse seems to share. I’ve never seen an interview with her before and she seems just Jesse’s speed.
Earlier this week, we heard Kat deny that she was broken up with Jesse and heap praises on him, calling him “one of the most kind-hearted, intelligent human beings.” This time, she wouldn’t explain to Joy what she saw in Jesse exactly, but she say “we’re a couple” and called him her “boyfriend.” As in her earlier appearance, Kat wore a big diamond ring on her left ring finger. The NY Post says that her people made it clear ahead of the interview that she would not discuss whether or not she was engaged to Jesse.
Kat Von D bustled onto the set of “The Joy Behar Show” Wednesday with a huge diamond rock on her ring finger — but it was never mentioned on-air. The tattoo artist and TLC reality star confirmed her relation ship with Jesse James but refused to talk about if she’s en gaged to Sandra Bullock’s ex, according to a source on-set. Before the show, “she told Joy very emphatically she did not want to talk about it,” our spy said. “Joy asked some Jesse questions, just not about the ring.” When Behar prodded into the relationship on-air, Kat replied, “Yeah, we’re a couple.” But when Behar followed up with more questions, she threw up her hands and snipped, “Why? . . . I just figured by now ev eryone would be tired of talking about it, it’s so old and boring.” Reps for Kat and James didn’t get back to us.

I didn’t think I would find Kat as annoying as I did. I mean I’ve seen snippets of her show and was in no way impressed by her, but she bugged me here. She seemed just like the type of fool who would fall for Jesse, go on photo ops with him, wear a giant engagement ring and yet try and act all demure about it in interviews when she’s shilling something. It’s stupid and attention-seeking and she definitely deserves to be with Jesse. Good luck with that.

everyone “talking about it [their relationship]” is most likely what she’s referring to as old and boring, not the relationship itself.

I have never watched her show, so I haven’t heard her speak…she sounds like a dude! I have a naturally deep voice too, but DAMN! Uch. She seems like a bobble head to me. Dislike.

Example: i wonder if she, as an italian american, would like it if someone interviewing here equated all italian americans to having ties to organized crime and murder through the mafia.
I used to like her but that was in the Miami Ink days. Couldn’t stand Ari(?) though. I caught some epps of LA Ink last spring & she’s turned into a horrible, bitchy person. Cannot stand her now.

It seems I’m the odd one out, but I’ve always loved Kat Von D. She really seems like someone who’d be fun to hang out with, and like she has a good heart underneath it all. I love her tatts, I think they’re amazing, and she really is a talented artist. I get that it’s not for everyone though.
I think kat was annoyed through out the entire interview, but I’m tired of her “I just want to focus on my art” responses. I mean CMON, you’re on a reality show and are dating a celebrity. Going on a talk show that mainly focuses on celebrity drama – did you expect to talk about your book – seriously? And then coyly throw your hands in the air so we can see your ring? Oh poor misunderstood Kat.

What the heck? The interview was supposed to be about art. Joy has turned into a big tabloid. Kat is such a talented artist. She showed a lot more class than Joy did. I could not believe how tacky this was.

Gosh, that was pretty freakin’ awkward huh!? I love them both, actually, but Joy didn’t let up, and Kat wasn’t giving it up. I think Kat handled herself very well actually, especially since it seemed like Joy was trying to bait her a little bit.
