At first glance, I really liked Jennifer Lopez’s Andrew Gn dress. She wore this to the Latin Grammys, held in Las Vegas yesterday. It’s rather pretty from a distance. And then you see a few close-ups and you realize several things: this sh-t is STUDDED. All over. And the fit is weird – Jennifer tried to pour herself into something slinky, and the material (and the studs) are rather unforgiving, especially around her hips. It looks like the poor studded fabric is about to quit this bitch.
But I will give Jennifer some credit – the styling was subdued, and her aim wasn’t trashy or grandstanding, you know? She was trying to be ladylike and cover up for the most part (except for the boob “window”). Sure, the idea of this dress is kind of dated and 1970s… but I know what she was trying for, and I applaud it. I just think the execution sucks.
Oh, and Marc just needs to stop with the sunglasses. EVERY red carpet. We get it, Marc. You’re “cool”. Your eyes are sensitive. Just pose for photos without the glasses for a minute, then put them back on.

Love it. I would think I would hate it but to me it hugs her great, the sparkling gems aren’t over powering, compliments her skin tone well, and I just plain like cleavage.

i like it, its a bit tight, wearing spanx underneath might have helped.

I will give her a pass on the Linda Hamilton dress because it is, after all, the Latin Grammys, but it would have looked better sleeveless or different hair. The hair doesn’t really work w/the dress.
If you are going to have a Dynasty dress you need to work the hair, or else what’s the point?
The dress reminds me of those painful-looking Xenu-things she had stuck to her a few months back.
Too tight and the studded effect is weird. She’s not a sample size anymore and she’s been in this business way too long to not wear spanx. Maybe she is wearing spanx and it just isn’t getting that gunt pulled in properly.

Awesome, and she has a real body. I’m no fan either. A little tight in the hipppage area but she could have done something about that.
I like the dress but it doesn’t fit her well (too tight in places), and JLo doesn’t do anything for it.

J Lo ALWAYS wears skin tight with the damn v-boob neckline….and it sucks nad looks stupid/trashy. Every damn time. It’s like she cannot find snug that really shapes hwer well. With all of her money and connections-i mean c’mon…someone should be able to outfit her well.

I think she is a beautiful woman-why does she always land ‘just this side’ of skanky/trashy? it’s obvious her clothing/ensembles are expensive, but it’s like she is ‘trying’ to wear expensive. Or, she is trying to go for too many looks at the same time. I think that might be it. Like, do you want fitted, or do you want v cleavage? do you want super sparkly/studded? Pick one and accent it with the rest, J-Lo.

She needs to do something new with her hair. She has had that same long, honey-colored hair for FOREVER and it is very dated for her. Pretty on someone else, but I feel like she has looked the same for like 10 years. It reminds me of her crappy music.

That’s not JLO’s hair. That’s a lace-front wig. Her real hair is short and thin and she has a receeding hairline which you never see because she’s always wearing a wig, or different extensions.
