A few days ago, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted in Namibia. They were photographed doing some last-minute shopping for the kids (photo here, at Radar). Angelina had already said in an interview that they planned to spend Christmas traveling and “having an adventure”. So the adventure was a trip to Namibia, Shiloh’s birthplace.
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and all the little Jolie-Pitts are spending Christmas in Namibia, RadarOnline.com has learned. The couple was spotted yesterday doing some last minute holiday shopping at a mall in the city of Windhoek, and RadarOnline.com has the pictures.
The coastal African nation of Namibia is where the couple’s daughter Shiloh was born on May 27, 2006.
Angelina tipped her hand about the family’s Christmas vacation plans in a recent interview.
“We’re going to travel with the kids and go to a random part of the world,” she told Larry King. “We’re going to travel and have an adventure because that’s what we love to do.”
By the looks of the shopping cart loaded with toys Angie was seen pushing through the mall, the kids woke up to a very merry Christmas this morning.

It’s kind of nice. Maybe Angelina and Brad are thinking about starting that Namibian charity in Shiloh’s name, like they’ve always claimed they would. As for spending the holidays in Africa… eh. I mean, it works for them, and as the Brangeloonies pointed out (meaning “they yelled at me”), the Jolie-Pitt family goes to Missouri every other Christmas, and spend the other times traveling and adventuring. Also, I had this thought: they spent much of the past three months or so in the snowy, freezing cold of Budapest, Hungary. They might want to just be somewhere warm, you know?

I love that interview she did when she was pregnant for the first time. I for some reason remember that cute maternity top and her boots. She giggled a lot and I just thought OMG how beautiful is she. Little makeup and just really glowing. They have 6 children born in 5 countries. I thinks it is awesome that they travel back to those countries and all the kids get to experience it. Plus they really do keep their Holidays private. That to me is really amazing considering how the media follows them. I saw the mall pic and think they were likely taken by one of the shoppers. If it had been a pap there would have been way more then 2 pics. And there were none of them arriving or leaving.
I’m a nutty fan but love seeing them and just think they really make an awesome couple. Something about them just fits for me.
If those celebrities would ever realize how stupid they sound/look while pretending to be the saviours of the poors and desperates – in false modesty – probably they would quit the whole charity farse (and still do it anonymously, I hope).
And how comes that the paparazzi always know where the Branges are?
She just glowed being pregnant with Shiloh. I’m so happy for this family.

Anyway, don’t the Jolie-Pitts take turns going to each of the countries where their kids were born? I seem to remember a Christmas in Cambodia and one in Ethopia, so it was Shiloh’s turn. And she’s old enough to understand that this is the place she was born. I think it’s an amaziing thing to be able to do that for your children. And, IT’S WARM IN NAMIBIA!!!

a week ago there were tweets that they were in Namibia no proof. As I said doubt the 2 pics were taken by the paps. Probably someone in the store and the pic first appeared in a local newspaper. There are NO OTHER pictures. So if it was a Pap then there would have been more. I don’t think anyone knows where they are year to year for the holidays. THERE have never been pictures. The reason the media jumps on it is because it is them. Do you see headlines on other couples regarding where and what they are doing for the holiday. NOPE.. Why? Because they are not Brad/Angie..

Not sure why Kaiser is attacking them for going to Namibia. I don’t consider it any different from the celebrities going to Mexico and the Carribean for Christmas and nobody ever questions that.
Unless it’s in the video(which I didn’t view), I don’t recall Angelina saying she’s starting a charity. I thought she did say she was supporting an orphanage or health clinic or something. She very well could have a charity but it seems only her UN trips are covered by the media. She has clinics in Ethiopia and Cambodia but people hardly ever talk about it.

Awww, you poor, snowed-in people… I’m enjoying a wonderful, warm Christmas holiday with my kids and my precious little grandson and the cat in Southern California.
@lachica: I’m happy for every lot, privileged or otherwise, who are able to share the holidays together.
I’ve never seen eyes change color like that – more so than hazel eyes I have seen. There are 2.5 million people in Namibia. It would be so EASY to give them luxury high rises and plumbing. There’s nothing to blast through to lay the pipe. The baby from Namibia in the doc Babies is amazingly perfect looking but she didn’t deserve to have flies land on her constantly.
I don’t know if this is true or not. I was just in the car and listening to the radio. An announcer was talking to his daughter-in-law who was coming back from Stowe,VT. Supposedly the Jolie-Pitts were there.

Haven’t watched this interview in a while. She really should be a politician. She is such a good liar, I mean actor. She knew that Zahara’s mom was alive and she said that she died of AIDS to seem like such a heroine. Zahara’s mom has done interviews with the press since this interview aired and she looks exactly like her. Funny how Ange never issued a statement about the fact that she is alive.

BTW I have seen three different women claiming to be Zahara’s mom in three different tabloids.Oh yeah, the one In INtouch Weekly said her mother lied to the adoption agency and said her daughter had died. Angie adopted Zahara through a licensed agency in Ethiopa, where her maternal relatives brought her after her birth mother abandoned her. The relatives told the agency the birth mother was dead and the agency had no reason to dispute it. In the state where I live, you have to show the court a death certificate before they will declare a child free for adoption due to the death of a parent, but in Ethiopia the adoption rules may be entirely different.
Wasn’t Zahara concieved during a rape and the birth mother’s mother was the one who took her to the adoption agency? I read an article where the birth mother has said she is happy AJ has her daughter. She’s very pretty and the little girl looks just like her.

Skibunny as I mentioned earlier we don’t know who is Zahara’s birth mother . I’ve read different accounts in An Australian,British and American tabloid. All three tabloids featured different woman of different ages claiming to be her mother.The American tabloid(InTouch Weekly) was the most recent in 2008 I think , the other tabloid articles were from 2005 and 2006.I’m trying to locate the other articles on line but since there are tens of millions of story about Angelina it’s hard.
@skibunny: The rape story may have been concocted by the birth mother’s family. Out-of-wedlock pregnancy is taboo in most African societies. However Z was conceived, she has two loving and devoted adoptive parents.
Well whatever the circumstances were the little girl is much better off where she is. I hate to think of what may have become of her
