Considering that Lindsay Lohan was allegedly allowed to beat the hell out of a Betty Ford employee, avoid taking a Breathalyzer test that would have likely proven that she was drinking again, gotten her mother to pay off her smackdown victim, and have the entire incident hushed up by Betty Ford in an attempt to save their reputation, it’s no surprise that Lindsay is on track to get out of rehab on schedule next week. TMZ has a piece about what we can expect from Lindsay’s post-rehab crack hustle:
Lindsay Lohan will blow out of Betty Ford a week from today, but she has a plan in place to stay sober … for the first time in many years.
Sources tell TMZ … although Lindsay can leave B.F. on January 3, she’s staying an extra day.
On the 4th, she’ll drive 100 miles back to L.A., but she’s not returning to the West Hollywood condo where she fueled her addictions for much of 2010.
And on the subject of addiction, we’re told Lohan has a sponsor specifically to help her deal with the culture shock of reentry. She’s also pre-scheduled several months of AA meetings.

2011 can be a new start for Lindsay to break the cycle of jail and rehab all she has to do is stay away from drugs and alcohol until her next court hearing and she will complete probation.
As part of her supervised probation which lasts until February 25th she has to attend at least 5 Twelve step meetings a week.
Next week will probably begin the final chapter for her. Unfortunately, the path to a clean and productive life is not in Hollywood or with mum-crack. She can’t get there from here.

She did go to her meetings after she got out of UCLA in August and September and didn’t miss any of her therapy appointments.
For 7 weeks all she has to do it 15 hours a week max fulfilling her probation requirements with the random testing the most important. Then she will avoid jail again and be completely free after the hearing.
Even if she isn’t serious about changing she has to realise that acting her way through therapy beats spending up to 6 months in jail meaning she would serve at least a month.
@Innocent: Considering she has the same enablers surrounding her I don’t see her sobriety lasting (sadly). I think the whole “system” has had enough of her and just wants to wash their hands of her. If she so badly wants to go down that road that she is on, there is no stopping her.
She “pre-scheduled” meetings? By looking in a meeting book & saying, there’s one Tuesay night @ 8 @ the church down the street. That’s the only way I know to “pre-schedule.” Those meetings will go on whether she’s there or not, because people serious about their sobriety keep them going. It’s not like you have to register to go. “The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.”

Dread, I was thinking the same. I’ve never been an AA member, but I know a lot of people who have, and they don’t schedule their attendance at meetings, there are meetings going on at least daily here and there around town, and you just GO. If they’re going to lie about her sobriety plan, the least they can do is keep it authentic sounding.
O.K., so maybe I’ve seen way too many episodes of “Intervention”, and had too many friends with issues, but the ones who come out of rehab with serious intentions and have actually LEARNED something are the ones who spend at least a year starting over. They live in a new place, they change their friends, their entire lives become about being sober. Most of the ones I know were doing 2 or 3 AA meetings a day. It was unthinkable to be around the life that fed the prior life. I think Lindsey’s “recovery” is a big old crock of garbage, and Betty Ford either knows it and can’t wait to see the back of her, or Betty Ford is nothing more than a nice place in the desert for celebrities to dry out.
I wish her well, hate to see anyone on the decline like this. But with her mom in her life she is doomed to continue all things sleazy, skeazy, skanky, slutty, shoddy, shabby, and seedy. And that is only using S words to describe it.
Its sad but she’s gonna end up dead…. she wont be able to stay clean unless she goes to a sober living home and somehow finds a way to stay clean.

Well yes because she missed a few of her weekly Right On classes. However i thought the Judge was extremely harsh in July given the fact that Lindsay did complete the program within the deadline and the mandatory weekly attendance wasn’t enforced until May and in February the Judge said that she was in complaince. Even the D.A agreed and Lindsay would have been out of the system in November if she didn’t fail the drug test(s)

I only hope everyone in these circumstances is given the option to pick & choose which terms to comply with, as if at a Vegas buffet. Fair is fair, right?

Lindsay didn’t deserve jail,rehab and 1 year of formal probation when she didn’t fail any drug tests. She had completed everything as evidenced by her cocaine charges being dismissed in August and all the Judge had to do was give her up to 180 days in jail and terminate her probation.

how is that going to be portrayed as a “comedy”? I mean, we all “laugh” at her crack-hustle shenanigans, but it is actually not a funny situation, considering she could end up dead any day now.
I’m not wishing death on her, while at the same time I don’t really feel sympathy for her, but I don’t see how such a sad, truly cautionary tale about the Hollywood scene corrupting young (semi-)talent could be a “comedy”.
@Innocent-once you get sentenced to a certain number of months in county lockup, you end up having to spend 2/3 of the sentence behind bars regardless of good behavior. That’s why your little crackie fled to rehab to avoid a few months in jail. Since she has already served roughly a month total in jail from her numerous violations, that would equate to around 3 months in county lockup. Crackie believed she would only have to spend the usual 28 day rehab stay so she chose that instead of the 3 months in jail. Did you really think it was a coincidence that Fox lenghtened her stay to just over 3 months and on Crackie’s dime? Poetic justice. You really are naive. And even if she makes it to feb 25 and gets off formal probation, she will have to lay off her famewhoring and bar hopping because she has to rebuild her image. Crackie coming out of a bar isn’t going to inspire confidence in the eyes of Hollywood producers. Crackie not famewhoring and barhopping-yeah right. Never is going to happen.

In Lynwood non violent misdmeanor offenders which Lindsay is are doing 20% of their sentence because of overcrowding.
In Los Angeles everyone is entitled to good time/work time and thats why Lindsay’s 90 day sentence was automatically cut to 51 days and she served 25% of it minus the 2 days of time served.
Her stay was lengthened because she was forced to complete the 90 day program after being caught doing cocaine again.
…curious as to the lawsuit the Lohans are going to bring against lifetime about this. You know they will. I don’t even say the name Lindsay, for fear of being sued.

While I’m not a California resident, I can tell you if you get sentenced to a certain time in jail(and I believe it could be six months) you have to spend a certain time behind bars regardless of the overcrowding. That’s why that other woman who was sentenced after breaking into Crackie’s home spent more time in jail than Crackie did(I forget what her name is). She was a non-violent first time offender and served a lot more time PERCENTAGE-WISE than your little Crackie. Remember? She pled out and was just cages away from Crackie. Of course now she is in trouble for heroin possession and failure to comply to her probation-so she fled to rehab, too. So, @INNOCENT, comment on my other observation. You are obsessed with Feb. 25 just because it lets Crackie off of formal probation. But, more importantly, does it let her off of reality? Crackie has to lay low for a FEW YEARS (at least) and avoid all behavior that has a hint of her old crackie ways to salvage her career. Let’s face it, she’s not any different than any other waifish starlet that does stimulants(coke,adderall) to stay thin and get a buzz-except she’s addicted to famewhoring 24-7. Because her famewhoring is what relly got her into trouble-the police would not have arrested her if she did her drugging/ drinking at home like a normal person. Considering she was already re-entering bars while still in rehab I don’t think she’ll be in too much of a culture shock. She was continuing her barfly lifestyle just last week, so I can’t see how there’s going to be any “shocking” change of lifestyle two weeks later.

@ innocent: lindsay has been arrested for DUI, she did not complete the mandatory classes, she failed at least two drug tests, her SCRAM anklet went off, and she was caught doing cocaine while in rehab, not to mention showing major disresepct to the court (the FU nail, anyone?) – what do you think she deserves, a gold star? if she were not famous she would have gotten worse. she is lucky she hasn’t killed anyone or herself, but unless she changes her life i guarantee one of those two things will happen.

Alexis Neiers served practically the same % as Lindsay 33 days out of 180 with 29 days in Lynwood & 4 days of time served. So 180 with good time is 120, 25% = 36, and minus the 4 days of credit. Yeah she is in a great rehab getting help for her heroin addiction and she is allowed to tweet, go to the beach, go for starbucks etc.

@INNOCENT-Keep believing what you want about your Crackie. But where is your delusional comment on the observation that it will take Crackie years to earn the respect back from Hollywood’s producers. It’s not like she has to remain sober/clean until Feb 25 and she will magically have her pick of A-List scripts. Downey didn’t and he is a GREAT actor. He had a few years of struggle with sub par indie films before he climbed back up. Crackie is not in his league and never will be. Also, he doesn’t bring on the drama or famewhoring that Crackie does. What producer wants that? She’s got to prove herself over time. Remember the last time she got out of rehab(not the UCLA one)-roles didn’t magically appear THEN and soon afterwards she was photographed drinking/clubbing numerous times. Her excuse was that her “addiction specialist” said it was okay to drink in social/business situations. Crackie will have to work hard and prove herself over time, and frankly, she doesn’t have family/friend support to withstand that scrutiny. She will relapse when the reality of the work involved climbing back up that ladder hits her. It’s not a case of if but of when. Oh-one more thing: If she is caught DUI for the third time-fleeing to rehab will not work. Habitual offenders(that’s what she will be) will be sentenced to jail for a lot longer than a few days. Meanwhile, I will be toasting the New Year getting a little toasted. Must suck to be her.
She’s also lucky that Samantha Ronson didn’t choose to press charges. If lindsay would throw a drink at the person she claims to love, and throw it in public, why wouldn’t lindsay assault a mere staffer?

I agree a 3rd DUI is a mandatory minimum of 120 days and up to a year with another 18 month alcohol ed program. I don’t think she will get another DUI. Even when she relapsed and was partying and failed the tests she was being chaffeured.
However if she just got drug charges after her probation was over in August at least in LA she would get rehab since it would technically be her first offense as the coke charges were dismissed.

@Innocent she was driving leased maseratis and such when she tested dirty for cocaine and adderall. Just because she wasn’t arrested for a DUI doesn’t mean she was driving around LA clean/sober. Even though her drug possession charges were dismissed, her 2 DUI’S haven’t been. Those convictions will, in fact, still ENHANCE her sentence for a drug conviction if caught again. Her fleeing off to rehab to avoid jail won’t work if that happens. She no longer is a first time offender and doesn’t have a good track record obeying the terms of probation. Do you honestly think she would be sentenced to just rehab? And until Aug 2011 when her probation is finally over, Crackie can’t get into any trouble other than a simple traffic violation. She also has approx. 6 1/2 more years until the court will not consider her prior DUI’S when sentencing her for any future crimes. Now, she can’t even go out to a club with friends without it affecting her job prospects. Whether she’s an addict or not, she will have to live like a “nun” for a few years if she wants her career back. Indeed, it sucks to be her right now. Again, poetic justice.

She failed the drug tests on September 7th and the 10th and has been sober ever since going to AA meetings, rehab etc.
She thought since the Monday was a holiday and it was a small amount that the coke would be out of her system but trace amounts were detected. She wasn’t driving around that week because she was partying and didn’t even drive to the probation office when she failed the drug tests.
Another DUI just simply can’t happen and even in 07 she was lucky that she got the mandatory minimum due to her technically being a 1st time offender as she hadn’t been sentenced for the 1st DUI before she got the 2nd.

Just because she didn’t drive herself to her pobation office to be tested doesn’t mean she was driving around clean/sober in early September. As to her 2 dirty tests(although she was only charged for one), whether she thought she wouldn’t be tested since it was a holiday doesn’t matter-she still failed them. The only way you can logically justify Crackie’s behavior is by asserting that her judgement was/is impaired due to brain damage brought on by severe chronic drug abuse. Addicts are most likely to relapse around a holiday-so why would Crackie even chance it unless she is brain damaged. As a matter of fact, I think the brain damaged defense could be used for her equally vile parents as well. It would explain everything.

Sorry, I lied…. I have to make one more comment regarding Crackie and then it is good night one and all. Crackie’s so called sobriety in July isn’t all that it seems-She still had a “valid” script for adderall so her tests were “clean”. Now anybody, except @INNOCENT, that believes Crackie’s lie that she was misdiagnosed with ADHD and not taking adderall as a stimulant substititute for coke/appetite suppressant can/should use the brain damaged defense as well. Once UCLA took her adderall script away and discharged her, was it surprising that her tests came back positive for both coke and adderall within weeks?

I haven’t seen pics or video of her driving in September until the 14th as she went to NY on the 10th.
As for the adderall well she had been taking that since 08 for whatever reason so its hard to stop. That failed test didn’t even count but if she fails it will be because of that as that is out of your system in a day

I think in July she should have been sentenced to however long with her probation terminated.
The July 6th sentence was just a complete setup for another VOP.
Then in September i again think she should have been sentenced to however long with her probation terminated or the 30 days.Or forced to complete rehab but not being forced to complete rehab and having 180 days hanging over her until Feb 25th.
However i will admit that even i won’t be able to defend her if she can’t stay away from drugs or alcohol for 53 days after completing her 5th rehab.
I can’t believe you all are fighting over this. Lindsay is an addict and she will always be one. We should hope that she will become a recovering addict and work to turn her life around. I am a recovering addict and I credit being fed up with my life and moving to another country with getting my life back together. I’m not saying Lindsay shouldn’t be held accountable for her actions…she must face the consequences that they bring. And I’m not saying we shouldn’t be upset at the kinds of things she’s done and seemingly not been punished for. I am so lucky I never wound up in jail for anything I ever did. I am even more lucky that I did not wind up dead. Lindsay needs to see that she’s got to make a change or her life will always be this way. It is hard when you are hooked on coke, believe me. It starts so simply. A line here, a line there, socially at parties. Then a weekend funtime turns into every weekend. And then it happens during the week. And you keep chasing that first high every day, never satisfied, all the while believing the delusions in your head. Instead of wishing her poorly, let’s hope she finally gets herself together and gets out of the crack hustle for good. It’s awful to wish her bad things, even if she does fail again. Addiction is a horrible disease that is always with you, even when you no longer use. In my dreams, I still dream I am using coke and I haven’t used in over a year. I am now married with a baby on the way and I don’t ever want to give up the progress I made. I know in order to stay clean, I must never forget the hell I went through, and for this, I do wish Lindsay the absolute best and hope she can truly be happy as I am without drugs to fake a smile.
