What is going on with Courteney Cox? First she was linked with her Cougar Town costar Brian Van Holt and there were pretty convincing rumors that their “friendship” hastened the end of her marriage to David Arquette. (Or the time out that she called so that she could bone Van Holt, whatever you want to call it.)
Now she was just papped on a beach vacation in St. Barts with yet another costar, Josh Hopkins. It’s sketchy, and Courteney looks like she’s working her way through the hot male costars on set. Only Courteney swears that they’re “just friends” and it’s “platonic.” I don’t know, I wouldn’t go on vacation with a single male coworker even if I assumed he didn’t want to get in my pants. It sends the wrong message to both the guy and to anyone who might hear about it. It’s especially reckless if you’re famous, only Courteney thinks we’ll just take her word for it that she went off to the Caribbean with a guy buddy. It looks like they were there with a group of friends, though.
Courteney Cox and 6-year-old daughter Coco were seen Tuesday on the Caribbean sands with Cox’s Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins.
It’s the latest sighting of Cox, 46, with Hopkins, 40, since her separation last October from husband David Arquette – they were spotted in Hawaii filming a scene in the pool and in the surf, but in those instances they were on location for the show.
This time, the getaway isn’t work-related, but their rep tells PEOPLE romance is playing no role.
“The relationship is strictly platonic and they are away with a group of friends on vacation,” the rep says.
According to a Cougar Town set source, “Courteney and Josh are great friends. There’s definitely nothing going on there.”

These are some very clear staged photos that two photo agencies we use have. They’re not typical paparazzi shots, and are meant to show off Courteney’s hot bikini bod and new somewhat subtle boob job. She probably thought that the press would ignore the fact that she was there with Hopkins because they brought other people with them. It looks suspicious, but maybe she truly believed that she wouldn’t get called out for it. Or maybe she’s telling the truth and she’s only sleeping with Van Holt. Why didn’t he come along then?
Josh is the guy who allegedly called Jennifer Aniston a sport f*ck and then complained about his tabloid image. Not a great idea to go on vacation with Courteney Cox then, especially when she’s inviting the paparazzi to document it.
Update: Radar Online has quotes from Josh’s dad, a U.S. Congressman from Kentucky. He confirms that he son “went on some dates with Jennifer Aniston” and says he’s uncertain whether Josh is dating Courteney, but adds “I know he likes her and is very fond of her. He’s said she’s a very nice person.”

I really doubt she’s on a romantic getaway with this guy and her little girl. I don’t doubt there was something going on with the other co-star, but this looks pretty innocuous imo. And she looks flipping fantastic.

I’ve never understood the fascination with Jenn. In my opinion, Courtney has always been the prettier one with a better more natural body then Jen. Everyone knows Jen works her ass off but Courtney’s body somehow always seemed more natural.
I didn’t realize this is the other actor. I think she’s having an affair with the first actor she was linked with. Maybe it’s all bait and switch. Too much attention was being placed on the other affair, so now she’s being seen with this one to throw the gossip hounds off their trail. I think this guy she’s with in the photo is gay.

As too this vacation – why it’s do hard to believe people can be just friends? We’re not animals that we can’t help but fuck anything that moves and sometimes you’re just not attracted to people that way even when they are conventionaly good looking.
What about sending wrong signs to your friend in this situation – well, talk to them and explain yourself if you suspect there could be misunderstanding going on. It’s not that complicated.

I don’t know if I would go to Hawaii with my son and another guy who is “just a friend.” I also don’t know if it’s…I can’t think of the word…appropriate comes to mind, but it still feels off. The picture of him holding Coco in the water makes me uncomfortable. Like, I don’t know if I would let one of my guy friends do that with my children. I’m overprotective though.
Jennifer Aniston’s body is perfection.
Courtney has a rearlly good body, but her arms are a little too short or muscular or something. I used to notice that in Friends. As nice as her figure is, Jennifer’s is better because every part of her is so proportionate.

This isn’t the guy she was rumored to be seeing, so unless there is some evidence of something more than friendship, I see no reason to assume she is now seeing this guy. I mean I know celebs live differently, but if rumors are true this would mean she works on a show where her estranged husband is an exec producer, she’s seeing one male co-star and has previously been with another…just seems a little made-up.
I will say that his inclusion in this trip makes me wonder even more than I had before whether he is gay – seems like that type of friendship and his actions in candids woul more likely be seen in a gay bestie.

What’s wrong with bringing your child along for a vacation with friends? I don’t get the controversy. Maybe she is just friends with these guys, maybe not. If she’s hitting either one of them who cares as long as she’s not being affectionate with him around Coco and isn’t introducing him as “mommy’s new boyfriend” or “your new daddy.” Looks like a fun trip to me! I wish I had her body-I think she looks great.

It looks like there’s loads more people with them. THEY CAN BE JUST FRIENDS (I’m not saying that they are, you never know) I hate that by being friends with a guy or in this case going on a same GROUP holiday is ‘sending some kind of wrong message to the guy’. She’s doing no such thing.
Everytime I see Courtney out and about with people, she’s got CoCo with her. Now, I applaud her for not pawning her child off on a nanny, but I’m saying she doesn’t have to introduce her child to every flavor of the week and his group of friends. Emerson and I frequently go to the park, grocery stores, gymboree, etc, but I do NOT let him meet every acquaintence I have. That is my point. As I stated earlier, I’m certain you aren’t a parent.
I think she should date whoever she wants, but not around her kid–not so soon after the split. This may not be what it looks like, though.

Are you really suggesting that only bad parents would allow their children to meet their co-workers, friends, people they are close to and spend significant amounts of time with? I’m all for being cautious and not trusting your child with those you don’t know, but it’s taking things to an extreme to suggest that you should be suspicious of all people, including those you count as friends when there is no evidence to suggest cause for concern.
So far all we know about Cox and her co-stars is that they are friends – similar to how she’s been with her previous co-stars. If she starts changing men like Kate Hudson and playing happy families with her daughter with each of them, then there will be something to criticize her for. However, all we see from these and other images is that Cox is a hands-on mother and she and her daughter are close to her friends and co-workers. She was quoted as saying her daughter thinks of her onscreen son as being her real brother, and that Coco is a fixture on the set of her TV show. Given that, it shouldn’t be difficult to imagine that Coco is very familiar with her mother’s co-stars and friends, and is comfortable with them.
You can’t protect your child from all the potential evils in the world, all you can do is create a loving, open relationship so that they will come to you if they have a problem – from the images Coco looks to be very happy with the company she’s with, and very close to her mother.
