Rosie Huntington-Whiteley says we should save up for $700 Louboutins

fp_8070918_rij_hollywood_awards_91_139

I was in a bookstore yesterday, shopping for someone else, and I happened to see the hardback of Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations, and I made a mental note that I needed to add it to my Christmas list that I give my mom. Also on my list? Adele’s new live CD and LL Bean wool clogs (which I love, and I now want in every color). I give my mother a list still, to this day, even though I am well into adulthood because she’s already going to buy me stuff, so it might as well be the *right* stuff, and she prefers that I give her a list anyway, so she doesn’t just buy me endless pairs of socks.

What’s my point? Even when I’m thinking about what gifts I really, really want, I’m a pretty reasonable person – a nice book, a CD, a pair of shoes. That’s all I really want. If I do want something really expensive, I rationalize my way out of the purchase or I just buy it myself, with my own money. I’ve never owned a pair of $700 shoes. I enjoy looking at pairs of expensive shoes, but I can easily rationalize my way out of purchasing a pair. I always enjoy hearing what celebrities consider “must haves” though – it usually shows how out-of-touch they are, even when I know they really just mean their recommendations from the heart. Let’s take Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who recommends that women save one dollar every week for seven years just so they can buy a pair of Louboutins one day. But you know that seven years from now, a pair of Louboutins will cost 1,200 Apocalypse Romney Bucks!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley managed to win the hearts of many, many men when she took the reins from Megan Fox to star in the latest “Transformers” installment, but she has one little secret that helps her put some extra sexiness in her step. Seven hundred dollar Christian Louboutin heels.

“They make me feel like a woman. I feel they make you look very sexy, the cuts are beautiful, the lines, the colors the embellishments,” Huntington-Whiteley gushed to FOX411’s Pop Tarts column at the shoe designer’s book launch at Barney’s in Beverly Hills last week. “I think he managed to capture something so special for women, every girl should be lucky enough to have them.”

Yet amid this cash-strapped economy, the British supermodel has some words of wisdom for women pining for a pair – which retail at around $700.

“If you can save up for a pair put away a dollar a week,” she advised. “It’s worth it girls. It is really worth it!”

(At a dollar a week, that would take approximately 14 years, for those of you keeping score.)

Since getting a taste for rolling cameras, lights and action in Michael Bay’s hit blockbuster, Huntington-Whiteley has caught the acting bug big time, and has high hopes for more movies in the future.

“(‘Transformers’) was a huge challenge for me and I think it was the right time in my life to be challenged, I had a lot of fun and learned a lot making it,” she said. “I would love to work with another great filmmaker again, and I think my dreams are the same as any new actress – to work with a great cast, and I would love to do something that’s a little different from my role in ‘Transformers’ – and something hopefully that will challenge me in a different way.”

Yet when it comes to her personal life, the rising star (and Jason Statham’s squeeze) refuses to complain about the increasing paparazzi and tabloid attention.

“I am very lucky in my life so I don’t wish for anything I don’t have, and I actually manage to get around just fine. I’m just fine,” she added. “It’s not too much, I manage to avoid it when it’s necessary, but I’m very thankful for everything.”

[From Fox News]

She means well. She’s trying to convince all of us unwashed masses that this is what we really need – $700 Louboutins, which, granted, lots of ladies do seem to like. I see those nude stilettos on nearly every celebrity lady, so they must be one of the more comfortable and versatile pairs of heels in the high heel universe. I’ll also give Rosie a little bit of credit for not going all Goop on us, patronizing us by saying that not only MUST we buy the shoes, but we just desperately need to (lose some weight and) update our wardrobes with some $1000 blouses. Rosie’s shill was quick and dirty: buy these expensive shoes. The end. Like, “I am the 1%. You can be like me too if you buy these shoes. Goodbye.” The kicker, of course is that Rosie doesn’t have to pay for Louboutins even though she can afford thousands of pairs – she probably gets all of this stuff for free.

Also, if Rosie actually turns into an in-demand actress, I’ll eat my proverbial hat (I don’t wear a hat, my head’s too big).

Wow. As soon as we’re done eating cake, sweetie.

  2. Cherry says:

Sigh. I don’t even understand why we’re paying attention to what this twit has to say. Who is she, anyway? Megan Fox’s replacement in the new Transformers film? Woo- frigadee- hoo.

  3. brin says:

    She’s in Goopy/Gisele territory now….boo!!!

  4. Jax says:

What an air-head. Bearing in mind she probably gets most of her stuff “gifted” to her anyway. I’d glady give her a dollar a week to stop her spouting rubbish.

  5. ShanKat says:

Good at wearing clothes. Bad at talking and thinking.

  6. gee says:

I kind of get the sentiment behind what she said.. it’s nice to have something special and if we budget correctly, like 2$ a day, we can afford something special too.

When you think about it, some people (me) spend more on vending machine food.

Although, she still strikes me as a dolt.

  7. Silk Spectre says:

I’d rather buy 10 pairs of 70$ shoes that I can really wear than only 1 Red Bottoms.

No way I could ever wear this expensive shoes, would put them on a shelf and just stupidly stare at them…

  8. Pyewacket says:

You will never catch me in a pair of Louboutins, and not because I couldn’t buy a pair, but because every dumb whore in Hollywood has them.

Granted, I am not in a position to buy 2 or 3 pairs, but there are so many beautiful shoe designers out there, and to be honest, I find Louboutins a bit on the ugly side, while other designers have some very interesting designs.

  9. Becky says:

Apocalypse Romney Bucks! You made my day Kaiser.

  10. dd says:

i love this girl, i think she just wanted to say that having them or any other nice thing makes you feel good so you should just go for it and have it,
and the fact she gets [not likr goop] that no all of us can buy expensive stuff like nothing is shpowing how much she is “in tuch”

and girl, she is so pretty!

  11. Katyusha says:

Well, if anyone’s interested, I have a pair of black peep-toe Louboutins that I’ve worn twice. I used to live in LA but have since moved to VA and ride horses all the time. Obviously, they don’t see much daylight anymore!

So, if you have gigantic feet like me (size 41), let me know! They retailed for $900. Cheers!

  12. mln76 says:

Well I think that if you have a special something whether it’s that expensive pair of shoes, handbag, or jewelry it’s worth saving for to make yourself feel special especially if it’s something you can eventually pass on to your family. There are a few designer outfits in my Mom’s closet that I think are older than I am believe me they never go out of style. Oh and there is always Ebay and Amazon and sample sales if you want to get more reasonably priced goods and that’s your thing, but I personally would rather spend my money on a nice vacation because I am beat.

  13. Lee says:

I saw her in Transformers…..very pretty but during the whole movie, while everyone else got bloodied and bruised, she never got dirty or a scratch on her….oh,…and she sprinted in the monster high heels she had on for the entire movie. Nice work if you can get it. As far as her “acting” ability, Meryl Streep does not need to lose any sleep.

  14. WillyNilly says:

I would prefer that to ‘everybody should have them’, end of sentence. Bitch is saying SAVE…which is always a great message for anyone.

  15. womanfromthenorth says:

Most people are trying to save their houses and $700.00 shoes are not high on the list to save for.

  16. Deven says:

This young, unschooled airhead needs to be locked up until she can prove the quality of her mind has improved beyond that of what she’s spouting here. As a matter of fact, she should go help out Lohan at the morgue so she can realize what life really comes down to.

  17. constance says:

I agree. There are better shoe designers for the money. There are better things to do for the money. Like going on a great vacation or saving up for a down payment on a house with a good investment return.

Silly her for thinking a luxury shoe will make me feel good inside. I feel good inside when I’m at the park and my kids are playing happily as I read my book- for free. I admit I was retail “hungry” when I was a teenager and I worked a lot to afford it all. Then I turned 20 and realized no one really gave a flying f— what my shoes were, or my jeans. The good feeling of boasting that you have something no one really cares about dries up fast when you get honest people around you.

  18. thinkaboutit says:

I own several pair and they don’t make me feel “like a woman,” they make me feel like I put shoes on. I bought my Loubs wayyy before they were a red carpet thing and now they live in their boxes. I’m not big on playing sheep to Kim K and the like. I’ll take them back out when Hollywood moves on to the next fad.

  19. lem says:

please link me to said wool llbean clogs.

  20. Birdix says:

So you FEEL like a woman by LOOKING sexy? I get it, of course, and this is way too much analysis of a throwaway comment, but wouldn’t it be great if people could be encouraged to feel sexy as much as looking it?

  21. Redheadwriter says:

@Katyusha What does size 41 equate to in US numbers?

  22. I.want.shoes says:

I’m glad that she has Louboutins shoes. Once her acting “career” is over (in 3, 2, 1…) she will have something nice to look at.

Louboutins are over done. Everyone has them. Get a pair of Lanvin or Brian Atwood instead.

  23. jessiee says:

I just want to say that a pair of Louboutins cost more than my mortgage payment. I think I’ll go with the mortgage. 🙂

  24. Katyusha says:

    @ Redheadwriter

It’s an 11 in US – except I have found Louboutins to run small, as I normally wear a 10.

  25. SarahS says:

    @Katyusha, I wish – but I would need a 42, unless they run a tad big.
    @Redheadwriter, It would be a US 9.5.

  26. Heatheradair says:

I’m more of a Brian Atwood fan. More inventive, less “everywhere.”

I’m a shoe whore, admittedly, and own hundreds of pairs (I could own SEVERAL homes for the price of all the damn shoes I’ve talked myself into over the years. OY.), but I prefer less ubiquitous designers. Brian Atwood’s pretty mainstream these days, but still classy:

  27. Elizabeth says:

“Acting” in Transformers was a “huge challenge” for her?? Honey, you were the T & A role. The acting for that consists of wearing skimpy clothes and not blowing your lines! Silly girl. She may be perfectly nice but she sounds a bit out of touch.

  28. Julie says:

Ordering LL Bean shoes this week. As for that dress, OMG, it’s is awesome.

  29. Elizabeth says:

    @ Jessiee
I am single and just bought my first home. These shoes would cover my mortgage payment and utilities. I feel better with the roof over my head and the electricity on. I like nice things too but …..
    @ constance
ITA. when you’re young, all the baubles seem fun and exciting. But that passes (for most of us). But don’t be too hard on Rosie – she is very young.

  30. iseepinkelefants says:

    A) you don’t have to spend $700 on a pair. They can be found elsewhere (sales, resell shops) for cheaper. B) why the hell would I take advice from this numpty? I don’t need a pair of $700 shoes to feel sexy. Believe it not Rosie women can get that feeling in other ways (a sexy dress, nice lingerie). She’s an idiot.

And I bet all that name dropping just got her a few [free] dozen pairs from the designer.

  31. Kitten says:

this is seriously ridiculous and not worth national news coverage.

  32. Wildone says:

Wow people are being Bitchy for no reason she said SAVE meaning if you put a little money a said to get a great pair of shoes or whatever that make you feel special; she not saying blow all your money on shoe and don’t pay your rent/mortgage.

I do it with my way to save every time I use my debit card a 1$ goes into that account and with on two years I had 300$ and is growing, I’m going to use that money to pay/help pay for my trip me and my sister are taking this summer she doing the same things.

  33. lucy2 says:

If you can legitimately afford them and they make you happy, great. But to say “Everyone” should save for them is just stupid, especially right now when so many people are struggling to meet day to day expenses.
If she TRULY feels that way, she needs to spend some time helping the less fortunate and getting some perspective.

  34. LMM says:

Have you seen the line outside the apple store when a new product comes out? Many people complain about their financial problems but don’t hesitate to snap up the new Ipad or Iphone at $400-500 a pop. But somehow louboutins are frivolous? Just because the economy is awful doesn’t mean anyone should have to feel guilty about spending money on something luxurious that they have worked hard for and saved for, whether that’s a vacation, ipad, or yes, even louboutins.

  35. ellie66 says:

very pretty girl….very stupid comment Honey just keep ur mouth shut.

  36. Scarlet Vixen says:

    @Katyusha: I wear a US 9.5-10! Wanna make a donation to my closet?? 😀

  37. JoJo says:

Yes, your $700 shoes may make you feel sexy but they should just make you feel as stupid as you really are. Real men don’t give a crap whether you spent $700 for Louboutins or $7 at the thrift store or WalMart on your shoes. Class and sexiness come from within and maybe someday you’ll learn that lesson. And by that time, I’m pretty sure you won’t be remembered for your $700 shoes or your “acting” in Transformers.

  38. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

I borrowed my moms Louboutins. It was only the second time they had ever been worn and they were THE most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I have very narrow feet and it felt like I was squeezing a 10 lb sausage into a 1 lb casing. The shoe “fit” in the toe and heel and was a size larger than my size 8. I would never spend the $700+ dollars on them, but I’m glad I got to test drive them and find out how uncomfortable they are for myself.

  39. kazoo says:

i agree with her! i’m saving up for some mary janes.

  40. mia girl says:

@Kaiser “…seven years from now, a pair of Louboutins will cost 1,200 Apocalypse Romney Bucks!”

    That is some funny shit!

  41. Embee says:

I had a different experience purchasing my (sole pair) of Loubs. Year: 2006. Occasion: the end of my 10 year marriage. I felt instantly nauseous and ridiculous for spending that kind of money (I easily afforded it, it was the principle). This was compounded by the immediate telephone call from my credit card company (go USAA!) whose fraud alert was triggered because I never go to Saks and I never spend that kind of money.

You can take the girl out of the country…

  42. kieslwoski says:

You can actually get black classic louboutin stilletos from $550. But beware they are so uncomfortable, its like a torture device.

  43. Lucretias says:

@Katyusha: I wear a size 10 and live in VA. I would be happy to try out some Loubies! Unfortunately, no horse riding for me. But there are horses behind my backyard!

I’m with the poster who said samples sales and ebay. though there are fake loubies and other brands on the bay. that’s the only I’ve been able to feed my love of handbags!

  44. bluhare says:

Someone else has said the same thing about Manolo Blahniks and Jimmy Choos when they were the It Shoes. Big deal.

But what really gets me sad is realizing that hot hot Jason Statham hits that.

  45. Criss says:

Encouraging women to wear 5″ heals to feel sexy is a really stupid contribution toward society. Giselle would encourage tennis’ or her line of flip flops. I feel sexy with beautiful feet and toes that aren’t bunched up like a sloth when you turn 50. Anyway, she can’t do math, and in today’s times people are saving money to buy more important things than shoes with a red sole that they can’t wear to the grocery store.

  46. Smithy says:

    @Cindy:

    That comment made my DAY.

  47. Jover says:

Don’t be so hard on Rosie; at least she’s not ungrateful and dislikable like useless megan fox – while she’s not the brightest bulb in the factory, deep down i think she knows she’s t and a, not doing Lady Macbeth -unlike fox whose marginal success quickly went to her head.

  48. Samantha says:

Eh. Some people like shoes, some people like handbags, some people like games or electronics. Nothing wrong with saving up for something that will bring you pleasure.

And let’s face it, a lot of people waste enough money on frivolous things to buy Louboutins.

  49. Ari says:

lmao @ 1,200 Apocalypse Romney Bucks!

I am re-playing fallout: new vegas for the 4th time right now so that was right up my alley – I wish I could buy some nice shoes in that damn game :L

  50. Lisa says:

Now…I’m not a fan of this chick…truly I’m not…and I’m not a fan of spending beaucoup dollars on over priced shoes by designers whom I think really DON’T like women to begin with…

That being said…I don’t see a problem with what Rosie said…I mean, at least she’s saying “save” for what you want instead of going into debt…okay, replace “Louboos” with something else…like, I don’t know…a nice throwback Coach purse…THE REAL ONE!!!

  51. Original Tiffany says:

You can get TPF to authorize Loubs on ebay. I’ve spent very little on mine compared to the normal price. Hmm, let’s see a pair of crappy Farty shoes for 120 or some Loubs for 150? Not a hard choice. I have a bunch and some are more comfy than others, but yea, my riding boots get more wear.
    Off to ride:)

  52. MissVJJ says:

Louboutins are the most uncomfortable designer shoes out there. I returned mine the next day. The sales assoc. said they were the most returned designer shoes. Oh and they are losing the patent on the red sole apparently. So watch out for the red sole shoes at Payless and Target!

  53. Kim says:

At least she isnt saying hey go out and buy some. She gets that the average girl can not afford $700 shoes. Nothing wrong with saving for something special like she said.

Louboutins are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes i have ever tried on. They are made very nicely, there is craftsmanship there. Dont know if its $700 plus craftsmanship (we all know clothes & shoes have a ridiculous mark up) but they are comfy shoes esp for heels.

To each her own. Some people spend $ on shoes, some on vacations, some on furniture. I will never tell anyone how to spend the money they earn.

  54. Kim says:

I love how everyone here is preaching beauty comes from within. OK so none of you wear makeup, own sexy clothes, shoes etc? Come on now. We can all admit that when we dress up we feel sexier than when sitting at home in sweats. Doesnt mean you have to vamp it up everyday – thats what special occasions are for and why they are special. Majority of girls love to dress up and feel sexy for a night out now and then.

We all know sexy comes from within yet we all subscribe to some of what Rosie is saying. Dont tell me you would walk down a red carpet in sweats and no makeup or go to a fancy dinner for a special ocassion in shorts and a tank top. Lets keep it real ladies!

We have to support each other and stop calling a woman a twit for liking a pair of expensive shoes.

  55. Katyusha says:

    @ Lucretias

Where in VA do you live (you can be as vague as possible)?

Unfortunately, I’m not able to donate them 🙁

I’m taking one thing I used to spend stupid amounts of money on and placing it on horses – which are still expensive haha

My dad once told me, “There’s a lot more inherent value in stuff that enriches the soul than the superficial value of what impresses other people. ”

    Thus, horses> Louboutins 🙂

  56. ZenB!tch says:

I have a little hammer toe on my right foot. The podiatrist says its congenital. It sticks out so most narrower styles rub against it and hurt.

Super expensive shoes don’t hurt. I have 3 pairs which I got on sale (70% off) – Valentino and Choo I’ve never tried on Louboutins. However, I do recommend them as far as comfort level. As for $70 shoes as long as they aren’t high 9 West and Jessica Simpson don’t hurt my toe as much.

In other words, these things ARE pricey for a reason but as long as you stick to classic styles there is no reason NONE to pay full price. Nordstrom’s sells them “cheap” in January.

I also do not wear these things to work. They are strictly event shoes. I can wear ugly wide things to work.

  57. I’m starting today,$1 dollar a week.In 14yrs I’ll be back to let ya’ll know about my new pair of shoes.

  58. mssnarnd says:

Didn’t Christian Louboutin create a line for PayLess Shoes?

    *wink*

  59. Katyusha** Your Father sounds like a horseman!!

  60. ZenB!tch says:

I’m enjoying the posts about different priorities. One of my friends spent $700 on a pug and I was like WTF that’s a pair of Choos! I can get a mutt for $50-$100 or whatever the going rate is at the pound.

@Katyusha one of my closest friends gave up things like Choos and fancy meals for horses too. She is really happy and in a grand shoeaholic moment she DID have to spend $1500 on the perfect pair of riding boots. They have to fit a certain way or be custom made of something so they are very pricey.

  61. ZenB!tch says:

@mssnarnd LOL! That is one of my pet peeves. I don’t need Jimmy Choo for H&M or Isaac for Target. I don’t care whose name is on it. Vinyl still makes my feet sweat and it still leaves scars on my heels no matter whose name is on it.

  62. ZenBitch** I’m hearin’ ya girl.Won’t spend that kind of money on shoes, but have a $3,000 saddle sittin’ in my livin’room. And I very RARELY use it,because I’m afraid of it getting beat up at work.Thats cool you have a real life Bestie on CB.I love to hang out here, cause all my real life Besties don’t have a clue about HW gossip. And my horses will absolutley NOT engage in the triangle.(I comment under HorsePoor(just for silly fun),but in all reality my horses enable me to make my living, and I have so much because of them).

  63. Carolyn says:

Doesn’t Kim Kardashian wear Loubs? They’re not desirable for me. I can think of so many more worthwhile things $700 can be spent on than shoes. Hehe Rosie’s comment is proof that models should be seen and not heard.

  64. Katyusha says:

    @HorsepoorHanna

It’s funny, my dad does not actually ride, but he knows I do and he knows how happy it makes me 🙂

  65. danielle says:

Yeah, if I had an extra 700 I’d pay extra on my mortgage too – and then maybe with the $100 + leftover I’d go on a little shopping spree. She sounds out of touch, but nice enough.

  66. Katyusha**LOL!! I’m the only Horseman on my side of the family, and ‘Pops’ was always extemely proud of my career. My ‘Hub hubs’ side are mostly Horseman, and thats who I get the flack from.Go figure???

  67. Nanea says:

I don’t like Loubs and the way their red soles beg for attention. I’ve never tried them on either.

I do own some good shoes though, by Blahnik and Bruno Magli.

  68. OhMyMy says:

@mssnarnd: You may be thinking of Christian Siriano who won Project Runway a few seasons back. He’s been running commercials for his Payless line.

  69. Shoe_lover says:

I do love Christian Louboutins (however I usually stick with the classic styles) but I do hate that every skank in HW is wearing them at the moment. However, my first shoe love will always be Manolo Blahnik. Manolo Blahnik makes amazing shoes that feel amazing but unlike Jimmy Choo et all the design is all him and he doesn’t have a protégé so when he passes that’s it- no more Manolo’s so if you really want to invest in shoes as Rosie says get Manolo Blahniks.

@Katyusha- how much are you selling them for?

  70. ladybert62 says:

Girl, you have some serious problems if wearing a pair of $700 shoes “makes you feel like a woman.”

    Get help!

(But it may be too late already!!!)

  71. KsGirl says:

I know this probably makes me a dumb whore, too, but I prefer Louboutins to Choos and Blahniks – I just like the styling better. I don’t mind what RH-W said, she’s young, beautiful and rich, she just needs to experience a bit more of life. And she isnt bitching about how annoying it is to be famous, so there’s that.

LMM – I AGREE!!! The amount of shit I get from friends/family for my shoe/bag/clothing collection is insane, and it does mostly come from people who think nothing of spending $500+ on the latest new gadget.

Kat – they dont happen to be the Paquita style, do they? I am still searching for those…

  72. Amanda says:

    she sounds smart (not).

  73. DetRiotgirl says:

@LMM I see what you’re saying but, for me, there is a key difference between buying an iPhone and buying a $700 pair of shoes. I actually need my iPhone for work. I seriously don’t think I could function without it. I need constant access to my email. I need GPS and updated map programs. I need the internet. I need the majority of the apps I have on my phone, etc etc… Last time I checked, I had no pratical use for a $700 pair of shoes.

Still, in her defense, if those shoes make her happy and she’s not going into debt to obtain them, that’s her business. It’s part of her job to look good in heels and to walk around on red carpets and runways. So, maybe for her those shoes are as relevant to her job as my iPhone is to me at mine. She is a model after all, not the second coming of Suze Orman.

  74. Original Tiffany says:

Yep, HPH, I did not even blink at dropping 3k om my custom saddle. And I ride it too. Might as well. Just spent another 200 bucks on special feed for winter and a new blanket and stirrups. Way more fun than heels, though I like both. Back out to the ranch next week.
It keeps me sane, seeing the world through two perky ears. When we get off tour, I’m going to start training.

  75. dragonlady sakura says:

Just what I need, $700 shoes that then someone will say is out of style after a few months. Geez, another dumbbell like Megan Fox. Obviously, she wasn’t picked for Transformers her brains.

  76. Franny says:

I don’t see anything wrong with her saying to save money to buy something you really want. I nanny 20 some hours a week on top of my 45 hours at my real job so I can go on a 2 week trip to australia and new zealand. Once I come back, I’ll have a new goal to save towards. Diamond earrings? Designer shoes? Who knows, but as long as you save towards something, what’s wrong with treating yourself once in a while.

  77. Ruffian9 says:

Personally, high heeled oxfords at Nine West and Sorel ‘Cate The Great’ winter boots are more my speed, but to each their own!

  78. Lucretias says:

    @Katyusha
I live in the Hampton Roads area. (that’s southern Virgina across the water from Virginia Beach.

To the comment about TPF yay! another TPf’er!

  79. Ruffian9 says:

    Serious hair envy.

  80. Isa says:

I would get serious crap from people if I spent that much money on a pair of shoes. That would pay two months of our mortage.
Also, I would have no where to where them! As soon as I stepped off my porch I’d sink into the ground and have dirty heels.

  81. Original Tiffany** Big Smile your way,and wish you the best.

  82. Hanna says:

Was acting in transformers a ‘huge challange’ for her? lmao. She wont last too long, imo.

  83. Kara Ann says:

I just couldn’t spend that kind of money on shoes. COULD NOT DO IT! I’d rather help out relatives who work hard and are having a tough time. I’m not tooting my own horn but someone said to me recently that I could buy anything that I wanted if I didn’t spend so much on other people. All I could say was that I am far happier spending money on other people. IDK, maybe Rosie doesn’t know anyone who needs the help. She’s a beautiful woman and I appreciate the fact that she was advocating saving money. I don’t think she comes off Paltrow or Gisele -ish.

  84. Meanchick says:

What a disconnected twat! She needs $700 shoes to make her “feel like a woman?” All I have to do is look at my breasts and that is free! Stupid dollar store Barbie.

  85. Marvin Apps says:

I really like her dress though. It goes nice with her shoes.

  86. No, she is not intelligent but... says:

…a lot of people not too happy with their looks or lives in the comments.
