Alex Pettyfer is the 21-year-old English actor who stormed Hollywood last year with lead roles in Beastly and I Am Number Four, plus a supporting part in In Time. Unfortunately for Alex, none of those films did very well at the box office. Even more unfortunate were the many, many stories about his bad attitude, his unprofessional behavior, his narcissism, and his temper tantrums. He’s getting a second chance in Hollywood, though – he got a big part in Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike, where he plays a stripper in an ensemble that includes Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, and several others. It comes out this summer. While Alex was filming Magic Mike last year, he met a girl. They fell in love. And now they’re probably engaged. The girl? Riley Keough, best known as the daughter of Lisa-Marie Presley and Elvis Presley’s granddaughter. Riley has been modeling for years, and her film career is a few years old too. Riley is 22. She’s probably a Scientologist too, wouldn’t you say?

After about six months of dating, Lisa Marie Presley’s model-actress daughter, 22, is engaged to Alex Pettyfer, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
After connecting as costars on the upcoming male stripper flick Magic Mike, Keough and the British actor, 21, were first photographed smooching last October. And on Monday, the twosome grabbed lunch at Le Petit Four in L.A. –with Keough sporting an engagement ring.
Pettyfer, who strips down alongside Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello and Matthew Bomer in Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike, has previously dated actresses Emma Roberts and Dianna Agron.
Keough’s exes include Ryan Cabrera and Jonah Hill.

Good God, this has disaster written all over it. The last time Alex had a Hollywood girlfriend, it was Dianna Agron, and after they split up, Dianna made sure that everyone knew he was a “psycho” and a “stalker”. Of course, Dianna was actually screwing around on him (oops) with Sebastian Stan, just as Alex thought, so who believes her? Still, I think Alex probably is a very young, temperamental bastard. And Riley is… well, I don’t know anything about her. She’s very pretty. She’s just as young. She probably rolls with Xenu. I’m telling you… DISASTER.

I thought it was well known that Diana and Alex were a pure PR invention for I am 4, so she wasn’t really cheating on him. She visibly couldn’t stand him. Well, it didn’t work anyways, that movie bombed.

Before you guys tear me down, I will admit to watching all three of those movies. Beastly, was because I was babysitting and her parents bought it for her (meehhh), I am Number Four, because I like sci-fi/action movies, and In Time, because it was one of the movies they played on Taca Airlines on our way down to Costa Rica. All of those movies were blah, In Time more so than the others, great idea, poorly executed. So to my point, having seen these movies I can honestly say he is not a bad actor and on the cusp of having real potential if he does not f it up with his douchiness. I hope his handlers rained him in a bit. Comparative to Megan Fox’s acting skills, Alex is Brad Pitt caliber. Only he can screw this up, he has potential.

Meh. Yes, they are very, very young. But engaged is not the same as married. Plenty of young people get “engaged”, because they want to feel like they have an important, adult relationship, and nothing ever comes of it.

Riley is tall. She’s 5’7″ or 5’8″ Have you seen her standing next to her 5’3″ mom or her 5’4″ grandma Priscilla? Even though the average model is like 6 feet tall, there are some as “short” as 5’7″ which is as low as the industry will allow.

Looks the Priscilla and Elvis curse of generations is going to take it’s toll on the 3rd generation. Why would anyone 21 or 22 want to marry? It’s doomed from the start at that age, especially in LA when both are actors. I remember some of the things that happened when Diana A said he was out of control, she was so scared of him that she moved out of her home. The fact that she talked about it was odd, no one likes a tattle tale, especially one who could cost producers millions, it could have hurt her more than him but it didn’t and she’s still in demand, and he cooled – leaving me to believe it was all true.
Now with this couple who seem a bit wild and possibly volatile, this too will end in disaster, and mostly for him.
