Anna Faris & Chris Pratt are expecting their first baby, Anna is due in the fall

I just had an epiphany as I was looking through the most recent photos of Anna Faris – with this bob haircut and bangs trauma, she’s a dead ringer for Ellen Barkin. And that’s a bad thing. Anna is 35 years old. Ellen Barkin is 58. It doesn’t help that I also think Anna and Ellen might also be using the same plastic surgeon.

That was a rough way to start a positive post, though. I do like Anna, I just wish she would lose the bangs and stop messing with her face. Anna has been married to actor Chris Pratt since 2009 – Pratt is probably best known for his work on Parks and Recreation, as well as his supporting part in last year’s Moneyball (he was really good in that!). Well, Chris and Anna are now expecting a baby! Huzzah!

In September 2011, Anna Faris told Us Weekly she “would love to have eight kids” with husband Chris Pratt — and now she’s finally on her way!

The What’s Your Number? actress, 35, is pregnant and due this fall, her rep confirms to Us. This will be the first child for both Faris and Pratt, 32, who wed in July 2009.

“I do want a lot of kids,” Faris admitted to Us last year. “We want to populate the world!”

Parks and Recreation star Pratt recently gushed about his wife of nearly three years in the May issue of GQ. “I married way out of my pay grade. I have no idea how that happened. She’s so goddamn funny and so good,” he told the magazine. “She is a legit comedy powerhouse. But I’m not going to question it too much. I don’t know what it is, man. I guess chicks dig love handles or something.”

Faris — who was married to Ben Indra from 2004-2007 — met Pratt on the set of Take Me Home Tonight. She will next appear opposite Sacha Baron Cohen in The Dictator, in theaters May 16.

I like the way Chris always talks her up – when they first got together, he was a relatively unknown actor, and Anna’s career was pretty hot. Over the past few years, I think their levels of fame have evened out a bit. Chris still sees himself (and he’s seen by Hollywood) as a solid supporting player, but he’s getting more attention. Meanwhile, Anna’s career is dropping off a bit. I’m happy for them, though – they’ve been talking about having babies for a while, and I’m glad it’s happened for them. They’ll make pretty, funny babies!

I think her career is dropping off because her face looks like that.

  2. Jenny says:

I think they’re super cute together, wish them the best.

  3. Lizzie says:

What has she done to her face? It’s like someone stretched it over a balloon….and then added horrible bangs.

    • Eve says:

If you think her face looks weird here, you should watch “What’s Your Number?” — her lips (especially the upper one) look disturbingly unnatural.

      • Cletus says:

I wish she had left her face alone- she was cute before she had it all hacked around on. She is SO funny…. I watched What’s Your Number 5 times just for the british accent scene.

      • Jinko says:

        So true!

  4. LadyJane says:

Seriously now. Are ALL bangs to be considered “Bangs Trauma”? I like her hair – it is a bit edgy but she pulls it off. Getting a bit tired of this ‘bangs trauma’ label on everyone who dares to cut the front of their hair short. But that is just me. A bit cranky today.

    • Erinn says:

I agree! They HATE bangs on this site. It’s ridiculous. I cut bangs, and I find them flattering on some people. I look kind of weird without them, really since I have a larger forehead.

  5. lucy2 says:

Not really a fan of her work, but she seems nice. I love him on Parks & Rec, he’s hilarious. Congrats to them!

  6. Kaye says:

House Bunny was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen, and seems like I read that she wrote that. She is very likeable.

  7. Eve says:

I used to like her — she seemed like a fun, self-deprecating type of girl. But then someone mentioned here on Celebitchy’s threads that she or her husband gave her 15-year-old cat away on Twitter (offering it to anyone who would take it) because the poor thing had a bladder problem or something (apparently the cat couldn’t “hold it” anymore).

If this is story is true, I’m over her.

    • Becky says:

Oh no that’s awful…. The ultimate deal breaker.
makes me sad, I can’t imagine Chris Pratt doing that 🙁 I have (had?) such a crush on him…

      • Eve says:

I don’t know if that’s true. A poster mentioned that here, on a thread about Ryan Gosling (and his dog). And if it’s indeed true, I’ll lose my respect for her completely. Let me see if I can find the thread.

        EDIT (found it!):

It was a comment by Original Bee:

I love how devoted Ryan Gosling is to his dog! Anyone who’s that in love with their animal has to be a good person. Compare him to Anna Faris’ husband who tried to give their 15 year old cat away on twitter. Because, the poor thing had started going to the bathroom on the floor. My cat did the same thing and I never considered getting rid of her. And if I did I would certainly find a better method of locating a new home for than offering her up to random people on twitter! Anna Farris’ husband didn’t even know the twitter follower he eventually chose to give his cat to.

I think it is true, I saw it on several sites and i believe he even defended the decision on twitter by saying they were trying to get pregnant (terrible excuse). The cat was also famous he was in the movie Stuart Little. Yeah I dont think much of people who give up their animals just because they dont want to deal with it anymore and that includes my parents.

  8. Happymom says:

I must be seriously out of it-because I have no idea who either of them are. But congrats!

  9. stephanie says:

she’s adorable, but in that last photo, she looks JUST LIKE britney spears.

  10. Talie says:

I never liked her more than when I read a huge profile the New Yorker did on her. So, so good and she was crazy honest about her career and its challenges.

  11. Anna says:

I didn’t think their marriage would last a year back in 2009 but I’m so glad it did and they seem stable and happy, I love them. Congrats to Anna and Chris!

  12. Agnes says:

    awesome, congrats to them!

  13. kristiner says:

She use to be pretty cute. But now her face is so jacked.

    Why do they do this?

  14. SCREEEE says:

I love him. So funny, so fiiiine. I would hit that all night. She seems kind of great too, so yay all around!

  15. Zigggy says:

    Love her.

  16. Shelly says:

Love Anna, she is so funny and adorable. I don’t see this “work” done to her face? Maybe I’m just blinded because I like her so much.

  17. The Original Original says:

I dont find her attractive at all. When I was watching Whats your Number I kept thinking how it was mildly funny but would have been better with a more attractive actress.

  18. Amy says:

She looks nothing like Ellen Barkin. I love him on Parks and Rec, but I was really turned off to him as a person after the cat scandal.
