Jennifer Garner is such a mom

Right now I kind of look like Jennifer Garner in these pictures. My hair is dirty and pulled back all messy, I’m wearing similar glasses, and I have on sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I am sitting in my house blogging though, and I plan on taking a shower and putting on some gloss and mascara before I go out later. That’s not to say I haven’t gone out like this before. Garner is so refreshingly mom-like that she seems to have redeemed herself for complaining about her gorgeous body. (In what some commentors pointed out was an older interview before she got super fit again.)

She could put on some nicer clothing next time, but who cares? Garner is dressed normal while she’s out for exercise with her daughter and that’s pretty cool to see. Better she should go out with her baby in some mildly unflattering clothes and a bra than show off her mommy parts while leaving her child with the help for days at a time.

I agree. She’s just normal mommy-like and I like it!

Quick question–anyone have one of these backpack kid carrier things? Does your kid like it? How easy are they to use? My daughter is about the same age as Violet (although I’m not in as great shape as Garner) and I’ve been thinking about something like this.

Jennifer Garner is one smart lady. She likes to live as much of her life as possible in privacy, and I’ll bet no one even gives her a second look when she goes out looking like the rest of us.

I love it that she seems to really enjoy being a mom!

Action: I had something similar when my son was an infant, only it carried in the front. I haven’t heard of any kids NOT liking them 🙂

Thanks Someone! I have the one that goes in front which my daughter liked until she could crawl, but now that she’s a year old I’m thinking she’d like the extra space of the back carrier.

Thanks for the comment though!!! I appreciate it!

In all honesty (morning crankies aside),
when my daughter was a baby, I had one of those back-pack carriers. It was really neat, we lived in San Francisco in The Haight, so there was lots for her to see on walks, great for stopping the naptime whinies. However, as she got older, the weight began to hurt my shoulders. Maybe they have a better design now, but my 3 month old really likes his front-facing carrier. Target has a great selection of them.

    She is cute!

I think she looks like she is comfortable with herself.
