Back in July, Prince Harry began hooking up with a blue-blood English girl named Cressida Bonas. Bonas was and is very well-connected, with an aristocrat mother and a friendship with Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice (they went to school together!). Cressida’s half-sister Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe also dated Prince William briefly, during one of the (many) times he had split up with Kate Middleton. So… Cressida looked like a keeper. She definitely looked like she had the potential to last a bit longer than Prince Harry’s normal hookups, and many of us hoped that Cressida might help him finally get over Chelsea Davy. Unfortunately, Prince Harry went to Las Vegas and hooked up with random girls and those girls took photos of his ass. So… Cressida and Harry are probably over. Sort of.
Prince Harry’s naked high-jinks in Las Vegas may have cost him his latest girlfriend. Model Cressida Bonas, 23, a Leeds University graduate who has been dating the Prince over the summer, is said to have been ‘humiliated’ by the pictures of Harry enjoying the company of a young blonde in a hotel room.
Although sources say the couple have not split up, Ms Bonas, who has seen the pictures of the naked Prince on the internet, has hinted that she wants some time out.
‘He’s ruined his chances now.’ a friend of the heiress is quoted today.’ Harry has blown it. Cressida saw a future with him, but he clearly isn’t as serious about her as he claimed to be.’
Her torment was revealed as it emerged that one of the women who partied with the Prince on the 63rd floor of the Wynne Las Vegas and Encore Resort Hotel is set to ‘tell all’ on American TV in ‘the next few days.’
Ms Bonas, the daughter of Sixties cover girl and banking heiress Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon, enjoyed a holiday with Harry on Necker, the island owned by Sir Richard Branson, shortly before his jaunt to ‘Sin City’. Together with a group of friends, they were on Necker to celebrate the 27th birthday of Sir Richard’s son, Sam. Ms Bonas is said to be ‘less than impressed’ by the pictures that have emerged from the boys-only break in Las Vegas.
Photos of Harry naked and bear-hugging a nude blonde in his private suite have gone viral on the internet since they were published on the American website TMZ. During the Necker holiday, the Prince and Ms Bonas were acting very much as a couple, according to friends.
One told the Sunday Mirror: ‘They had been for a few dates including one just before Necker. Things went further there between them and they had a great time fooling around. Everyone in their group thought they were getting it on. Cressida definitely saw the romance as a goer and is gutted by what happened.’
A friend of Ms Bonas told The Mail on Sunday: ‘The relationship was pretty low key to begin with, but some of Cressida’s friends say it won’t get off the ground now, Cressida is pretty peeved.’
She and Harry were introduced by Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie. Last month they attended a screening of the new Batman movie where they were reportedly spotted in a clinch and they were recently seen at the Womad music festival in Wiltshire.
Yesterday, the U.S. media firm Bad Girlz PR claimed that a woman at the Prince’s party was prepared to reveal what happened that night and to take a lie detector test to back her version of events. The woman, from California, has hired a PR who acts as a go-between for people who have intimate stories about celebrities and want to go on the record.
A spokesman told the Sunday Mirror: ‘What she says is quite incredible and paints a different side to the prince and his behaviour.’
But the spokesman added that the woman is ‘nervous’ about coming forward because she fears a royal backlash. A spokesman for Prince Harry declined to comment last night.
Well… Prince Harry definitely acted like a fool, and I wouldn’t blame Cressida for walking away. That being said, let’s not act like they were completely coupled-up and in love. It really sounds like they had only begun dating and hooking up, and Cressida was merely hopeful that it would turn out to be something more. Plus, it doesn’t even sound like Cressida can get Harry on the phone long enough to dump him. Poor Cressida. She’s pretty, she’s young, and she’s wealthy. She’ll end up with someone in Harry’s circle of friends and Harry will end up going back to Chelsea for another round. I doubt Chelsea was impressed by Harry’s Royal Jewel-gate either, but Chelsea will be the one Harry reaches out to in his time of need.

Well according to just about everyone in Harrys circle and Cressida herself, they were never dating. I also dont think Harry is the cheating type. He doesnt seem like an ass like William.

I understand where Cressida is coming from. Yes, they were in the early phases of dating therefore not exclusive. He didn’t cheat on her but with this scandal she’ll look like a chump if she continues with him!
Certainly Harry *wasn’t* serious about Cressida.. yet — but this girl had wife potential and he blew it. It almost seems like he sabotaged it on purpose with his actions. If you’re into someone and see a future together you don’t get naked with random chicks! When the girl you’re talking to finds out, and with such an insular social circle SHE WILL, then she’s going to be hurt. What’s worse in this case, she feels public humiliated because everyone in their circle knew she had begun seeing Harry!
(On a side note: ugh these names! Cressida? Really?? And I think all the hyphenated UK surnames also sound atrocious! Pick ONE and be done with it!)

Ah, I’m sorry, I liked Harry for a long time, but I can’t stand the way he’s coming across at the adult age of 28. All party and fun and no-commitments and no-responsibilities and who-cares-who-I-hurt… grow the frack up, child! You’re starting to resemble a whole lot your father, and not just in looks.
As I blogged earlier, PHG is in danger of ending up in Prince Andrew territory in a few years – i.e. he’ll be seen a such a man whore that the “nice” upper crust types won’t want him (too much drama, too much chance of his naked Vegas photos being posted next to their wedding photos on the internet) and he’ll end up with someone like Sarah Ferguson. Someone pretty well-connected but not really up to the task of living royal and by the rules. Worst case scenario – he ends up with someone a bit dim-witted, doting, who “loves children and animals” and has so few other real upper crust options that she’s willing to ignore everything Harry does. In other words, a blond so-so looking upper class doormat. Who bores him to death. Very unfortunate for both.
Don’t forget the other uncle, good old Champagne Charlie. 3 marriages, about a dozen or so kids, Ugh, what a mess that guy is. He had all the country rallying around him, after his sisters funeral, but sadly has done little else of productivity since them….Titled Aristocrats, if they are your cup of tea, you’ll earn that title, and any money that comes with it, most unpleasantly, I’m afraid.
I think that is a pretty accurate look at Harry’s future, absent a real moment of clarity on his part that changes his course.

I like Chelsy; someone who likes to party but has a very serious, dedicated, professional side. I have the feeling that she will always be the only one for him. All this acting out is fueled by her rejection of him. My opinion only, of course. Time will tell.
He could always give up his right to the throne and marry her anyway. Go live in Africa. His father would never forgive him; his brother would never forgive him; his grandmother would never forgive him. But somewhere up there looking down, his mother would be laughing her butt off.
It’s possible that Harry could do just that (minus the renouncing the throne part) in a few years when Will and Kate have their 1.8 kids (heir and spare) and his role becomes less important (i.e. the royals no longer need him in case Will’s chopper crashes into a cliff in Wales, God forbid). The renouncing his spot in line for the throne likely wouldn’t happen as the Royal family is still too burned by QE II’s uncle doing just that (Wallis and such). 70+ years later it’s still an unpleasant memory for the Queen. Ain’t gonna happen again on her watch!

I really like Chelsy too. I never did understand why she gets the hate that she does. She seems like a really smart and independent girl for someone born with the wealth she has. The girl has a law degree and a career of her own, something most royal companions seem to be lacking. Plus, the girl looks like she knows how to have fun, something Harry needs. who wouldnt need to blow off some steam with everybody watching you like they do the Royals.
I get that this incident is a mess but I think its time to let it go. Stuff like this just makes the person trying to profit off this look bad imo, funny how its always a woman. Its no wonder high profile people have very little trust in anyone, especially women.

Add me to the Chelsy camp. I mean, I don’t get the hate, either. OK, she looks a little rough around the edges, but she’s obviously smart, and can give Harry a run for his money. I hope they do end up together.
I think the reason people aren’t thrilled with Chelsy is that they sense a certain Sarah Ferguson quality to her. Lots of fun, kind of pretty, but a bit of a “rode hard and put away wet” type who will never quite fit in at that level of royalty and all the rules that go with that. I like her, but I think there’s a good chance that people see an ugly divorce in the future.
Chelsy got hate because she made Kate look like what she is a lazy, stepford,clingy,desperate,plain-jane-impossibly-hyped-by KatienNicholl,DailyMail press machine, because they saw themselves in Kate, a basic brunette, not really anything special or threatening like Blonde bombshell-bodied-Lawyer-girl-highly educated Chelsy,immensely wealthy(real wealth) not press hyped fake Middleton-paper-fake-ass products “supposed” money, which I still have yet to see, since all the Midds have is a house and that’s it, they borrow EVERYTHING else from friends or Uncle sniff-sniff Gary assists. Chelsy drove the Kate fans insane becaause she wasn’t a flat chest bordering on plain brunette, who laid on her back for 9yrs and waited to get a ring, now we are supposed to be impressed by this person. Give me Chelsy any day and Cressida already is looking more interesting than Kate, she’s just as educated , having earned a degree from Leeds and definately has the real blueblood Royal families look for. Can’t stand overhyped Kate. Love that Harry though, he’s so loveable. While William leaves me cold, always seems like he’s hiding something. I get the feeling one day we’ll be looking at Tiger Woods part 2 with William. Hidden sh-te coming to the surface all at once.

Behind the scenes Cressida and Harry are still hanging out with each other when they choose, Katie Nicholl knows nothing,she’s getting into the story all late and she is usually wrong with her crap, all this is manuvering Cressida out of the way in newsprint by the DailyM to throw Pippa back at Pr.Harry and make her a Duchess. Katie Nicholl is always trying to figure out an angle for the Middleton women. Harry will never have a problem finding a proper wife, those Aristo and girls around those royals are so use to the highjinks these royal men get up to. Kate looked the other way for years and let William do what he wants. Cressida is an Aristocrat, they stick by those Royal Houses for Centuries. She’s been raised around this.
I really hope he ends up with Chelsy…she seems like a nice girl and I think she really loved him (I don’t get the backlash for her – she’s so much more a normal girl, who has a own (work) life, than Kate Middleton ever was).

So which ever journalist quoted her is simply making that up unless they know her personally in which case they also wouldn’t talk to the press.
I don’t agree with that. If you believe what you read (and that’s a big “if” I grant you), the story is that he was covering the woman with his body as she took a pool shot so no one would look at her biscuit factory.

As the Queen sits at her desk, surrounded by her loyal corgis, there’s a knock at the door.
