Amazon had a Deal of the Day for 35 Clint Eastwood movies for $34. I got it bc my hubby likes Eastwood movies. I was amazed at how good looking he (Eastwood, not my husband lol) was when he was young. He still is handsome, but he had a raw sexuality in his youth.

Side note: Watched Hunger Games the other night and I forgot there was a BD2 trailer at the beginning. I couldn’t watch it with a straight face cause of all the dramz (well I mean, I couldn’t watch it with a straight face previously either, just for different reasons.) Everyone has been talking about the promo for BD2 being awkward, and whether it will affect overall turnout to the movie, but what about those who actually watch the movie? It’s going to be super awk to watch KStew/Rob act lovey dovey and talk about forever and whatnot for over 2 hours. Hilair.
She’ll be fine at TIFF. It’s full of professionals, and many film critics (I read blogs and follow them on twitter) seem to think it’s ridiculous that the whole scandal became such big news…The general sentiment was more or less to leave her personal life the fuck alone because it’s not the public’s place to dig through every little facet of her life…Many of them retweeted the Jodie Foster thing or similar sentiments (not the babying her, but the overblown media reaction)…I think Roeper even said he was embarrassed for the people who were finding glee in the situation. Lainey might be at TIFF, but for the most part it isn’t a tabloidy/gossip blog type of place. If people go after her, it will because of her acting and not her personal life.
It’s more the promotions for BD2 that she should be lip bitey about. The tabloids are going to come out in full force, and the stans are f–king insane on all fronts. People should find BD2 awk because of the crappy acting, directing, production values, etc…it’s the characters who talk about being together forever, not KStew/RPattz…of course, the Stans can’t separate fantasy from reality…Seriously, she’s going to need a f–kload of bodyguards for BD2 or she should just try to get out of it. Let Tay Tay and RPattz handle it all…
I more meant that she should be lip-bitey just because this will be her first “appearance” and I don’t think anyone really knows what to expect. I agree, the professionals will keep it professional. But clearly this situation is far from sane and I think there’s still a lot of unknown.
As far as BD2, God, you are so right about the reasons people SHOULD find BD2 awkward haha. I have to admit, I enjoy Twilight much in the way I enjoy a candy bar: I know it’s bad, I know I should hate it, but I can’t help but indulge. It’s a guilty pleasure. I want to watch it and I’ve read every book, but only when I’m alone and I can draw the blinds and make sure NO ONE will ever find out…
That being said, everything about the movies is SO terrible, from acting to production, and the only thing I have ever thought was some form of saving grace was the chemistry between Rob and Kristen. I was just making the point that now that that has been A-bombed to sh*t, there’s really no redemption AT ALL. And just kind of wondering out loud if the stans will pick up on that, too. Many of them are repeat offenders as far as Twilight movies are concerned, and I believe they WILL show up for BD2, but will they go back for more like they have done in the past? Not sure.

I don’t know why Radar is reporting that OTR will be the first film to be shown at TIFF. OTR will be the FIFTH film screening on Thursday. Loopers, with Bruce Willis, will be opening TIFF this year.
As for Kstew, I don’t seen any reason why she wouldn’t be fine in Toronto.
@ Brown Totally get what you are saying. I wonder if the many of the stans have moved on to The Hunger Games too? I always thought the final one might perform poorly, because The Hunger Games seems to have swept away a lot of the former twi-hards… I think they shouldn’t have waited a year to release the final BD…the interest had died down a lot until the scandal, and the only reason KStew was getting so much press was because of the Snow White film…not because of herself as an individual.
The way you are about Twilight…I was that way about that shitty 50 Shades of Grey 🙂 Anyway, the whole situation is far from sane, as you stated. The media has lot their f–king heads over something that is unfortunately not uncommon. For example, the Will Ferrell thing. The man was satirizing the insane reactions the twi-hards had, and instead the the tabloids and the stans were like “Will calls Kristen a big fat whore”. It’s a terrible thing to sleep with a married man, but I find it kind of hilarious how people act like she’s the only person in Hollywood to ever do a terrible thing. People should move on from this hot mess, but I think they only will once BD2 premieres.
I would be terribly amused if RPattz and Tay Tay walked the red carpet hand in hand just to f–k with the stans and KStew got papped walking around with a Trampire t-shirt on. Or, as my friend said, this scandal would have been far more interesting and worthy of the overblown media coverage if Kristen had been caught f==king Liberty Ross in a mini Cooper, Tay Tay came out the following day, and RPattz started dating Katy Perry.
I haven’t read 50 Shades but I have a highly addictive personality and I’m 100% positive that if I picked it up I would become obsessed with it. I am strategically waiting for a time that I can relax with it and indulge myself with no shame… maybe around the holidays.
God, your version of the scandal would be amaze. But I think it would also be better if: KStew is caught MiniCoopering Sanders, Tay Tay comes out, and RPatz starts dating Liberty.
This further solidifies my belief that pregnancy drastically changes a woman’s face– even Snooki looks different since being pregnant. SOmething nearly impossible to describe or identify is different– but Ive found this to be the case for nearly every pregnant woman…. makes a woman look more mature in face, physically? (not to be mistaken for older)… just… deeper, more profound??

I’m so sick of women saying another woman “stole” the man. Poor helpless men. They are such victims. As typical it puts the onus on the person not committed to the relationship. Billy Crudup was the one committed to and having a child with Mary Louise Parker. He’s the one who pursued another woman I’m sure giving her a whole spiel about he was leaving her and she ended up pregnant, blah, blah, it’s over, blah, blah, I’m madly in love with you, can’t stop thinking about you, blah, blah.
Claire Danes may have had no morals about hooking up with him, but no one “stole” Billy Crudup. He went after another woman and left his partner and unborn child for another woman.
