Earlier this week, we were looking at these photos of Liberty Ross in leather and fur, out and about in London with a mystery man. The UK tabs said Liberty and this dude were looking very friendly, and they were even holding hands at one point. Many commenters suggested that the dude might be her brother. But according to Life & Style, the dude is her ex-boyfriend. SCANDAL!
Liberty Ross is not letting the affair her husband, Rupert Sanders, had with Kristen Stewart get her down!
Life & Style can reveal that the mystery man the model was photographed with in London on Sept. 17 is Christopher Taylor, the director of art gallery Museum 52 and Liberty’s ex-boyfriend!
In fact, Life & Style found an old photo of the two together (see above) from 2001.
And years later, they’ve definitely reconnected. “On Sept. 17, they arrived at the Serpentine Gallery event arm in arm,” a source tells Life & Style about the exes. “They left together, too.”
Just two months ago, Liberty found out about her husband’s affair with Kristen, whom Rupert directed in Snow White and the Huntsman. At the time, Kristen was in a relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
The only way this could get any more torrid is if they met up after she went to the gym and he began licking her armpits in the front seat of a Mini Cooper. I mean, I guess I get it – if Liberty wants to get some, she should probably figure out what she’s going to do about her marriage first. But I’m still not going to throw shade at her for getting some. He’s cute! And her husband is a douche. CASE CLOSED. Meanwhile, Us Weekly has this little story:
Rupert Sanders’ wife feels less forgiving than Robert Pattinson. Though a ringless Liberty Ross, 34, has not welcomed the director back into the duo’s Hollywood Hills home, “they’ve spent time together,” says a source. “She takes it day by day.”
Her hot career – the model walked the Alexander Wang show at NYFW – has helped ease the pain. Says the source, “She is excited about her future.”

After reading that interview he gave, where he clearly was beyond smitten, so much so he couldn’t hide it, and he tosses his wife in there as an afterthought, that would be the nail in the coffin.

My ex-boyfriend is now one of my best friends, there is nothing romantic. I go out with him to talk things out when I’m having problems and he sometimes holds my hands. But nothing shady happens. Liberty maybe has the same friendship. If she attended this event with a female friend the tabs might be trying to sell the ‘she is gay that’s why her husband cheated’.
Liberty deserves someone much better than that Rupert guy. Don’t take him back!

What scandal? Her husband acted a damn fool with Kristen Stewart. Every interview has shown a crush/obsession that began nearly 2 years ago. She deserves a night out with a decent guy.
Liberty can do whatever she wishes in my book. I don’t agree with revenge cheating but it seems like her and Rupert aren’t exactly back together.
That she went out for a night on the town with an ex, probably knowing she’d be photographed in the process, sort of sounds to me like she’s already figured out what she wants to do about her marriage to the Mini-Coopering biscuit-muncher.
And good for her, especially if a few dates help her figure out what she wants for her future.
Izz…If they are separated then how is it considered cheating. I don’t know what CA laws are, but in my state even “legal” separation is considered not having marital relations for 30 days or more, even if you live under the same roof.
So legalities aside, Lib and munchman likely haven’t done “it” since shit hit the fan, then I’d call them separated and whomever or whatever she does is not cheating, Ruppy was the cheater, and if she has dates then she is “free” to do so … old flame, new flame, hired beard whomever.
Agreed Chatcat! Which is why I didn’t even reference cheating with respect to her date. I believe the only mini-Coopering that went down here (ahem) was on the part of her douchebag husband. So, not cheating, IMO.
It’s just that gossip sites and mags keep saying that “she doesn’t know yet what she wants to do” or “she’s taking it day by day.”
I’m saying that her behavior says otherwise. She went out on something that very much resembles a date, with an ex. She’s not really bothering to hide it, so… maybe sending a signal to the douche hubby? If so, I like her communication style! 😀

@Chatcat – what state are you in, because that’s crazy! I mean, after you give birth, you’re not supposed to have sex for 6 weeks, so if you listen to doctor’s orders, and your husband decides to dump your ass when you just had a baby, you’re considered separated?
I don’t think anything is going on romantically between these two. Unfortunately. Liberty dated Chris for just a short time when she and Rupert had briefly broken up before their marriage. They’ve remained friendly since. He was at her birthday party last year in London.
I hate to wish for the end of a marriage, but I’m hoping she works up the strength to leave him. Must be so hard.

I find it awfully funny that you made that statement on the Kristen thread that men are easy to manipulate when horny. Does that mean Liberty wasn’t satisfying her horny husband? How interesting rupert made those comments while on the family vacation in hawaii. Perhaps the vacation wasnt going swimmingly? I noticed when the scandal hit, Libertys first impulse wasn’t to be sad, or even angry at her husband. She went straight for Kristen. Wonder why that was her first instinct. Rupe has always described Lib as “aristocratic” She is. Not stuffy but very bohemian aristocratic. Perhaps you’ve met the type? Free spirit. Not afraid of her sexuality. Comfortable in her own skin. Liberty exaggerates. She’s an artsy creative dramatic type. Walks around the block and it’s all “omg I’ve walked a marathon!” Everything is “Brillant!!”

I mean, you did share her post partum depression with the board, care to share how you found out that nugget and the trailer in Malibu? You know what rupert tried to blame kristen, you know liberty immediately kicked him out. I mean you dont know her but YOU say you know how she exaggerates and talks to her friends. And I just find it humorous that Rupert was ON VACATION with his wife when he went into great detail about Kristen and her regal ways and how they met and when asked about his wife, he didn’t expand much. I mean I would have loved to hear all about this Liberty and Kristens friendship and since the interviewer opened the discussion about Liberty, it would have been appropriate. Why don’t you tell me all about Liberty and Kristens friendship. Although, I am not sure martyr Liberty would have had the time to hang around the set after her brief scenes were filmed, she was practically a single mother because Rups was working all.the.time. I went out for breakfast the other day and someone had the Katie boots but in grey suede. Tried not to gawk or giggle. They did look better in grey. Camel is just not a good shoe color.

Imo, liberty has played this all wrong. She was in a prime spot to milk the sympathy as the wronged wife but now she just looks eager to parlay this tragedy into a career. One she could have had while married. Plenty of people both work with children. In fact from the beginning (esp her instagram pics of snow white and therapy shopping) she has look empowered, like finally she is getting some attention. Heck rob looks more upset and he wasnt in a 10 year marriage. There is an interview from the london swath premiere where someone said to liberty that she had a small role in her husbands film and she responded quite curtly that it was an important role. I am not saying what happened to liberty isnt awful but she seems to be bouncing back quite quickly and with zeal. Wonder where the children are now that her career is revitalized. She was so utterly devoted to them before even foresaking her career. How do they fit into her new life. The sad thing is that she totally could have had a career while her husband worked. While her husband is a pig, I find it completely mystifying that people are putting this woman up on a pedestal based on the way she has acted. I do applaud her for living her life and not hiding. What I really don’t get is applauding a woman who directly talks to the tabloids and does the sort of things I’ve mentioned. If you want to talk about someone who handled a situation well, look at Elin Woods. Tiger’s ex gave one interview and that was it. She didn’t set up photo ops or milk the situation.

The art gallery openings, fashion shows, red carpets are nothing new. She’s always lived this life. The only difference is now nice people like yourself are watching and judging.

What do people want her do to?!?! Everyone has benefited from this, yes even sweet darling Rob. Everyone is all “Awww Rob! Appreciate the fact that she’s not selling her side of the story to tabloids. If she wanted to she could DESTROY Kristen and tell everything she knows: when it started, confirm that there was sex, how she found out, all her suspisciond, all while painting herself as a stay at home mom who gave up everything for this POS. Those stories sell like hot bread. If I were Kristen I’d be praying she kept her mouth shut. She is the one person who can blow this out of the water and reverse any progress she made with Rob and her career.
