This is true but I still LOVE that law and wish we had something like it here.
As adults we know not to buy into the false advertising but most young, impressionable tweens do not. Its shocking and sad that they think the people pictured actually look like that. Same with the celebs that are photo-shopped into oblivion. the youngsters read these things and start wishing they look like them when in reality the celebs do not even look like their own pics.
I have extremely long and thick eyelashes on top and bottom lids. They’re so thick they get weighed down and wearing sunglasses is a pain when i blink, but here’s the irony…
Those products that claim to promote eyelash growth and thickness leads to eyelash loss and even turns blue irises brown or pale.
Especially waterproof mascara. That stuff will make your eyelashes fall out and eventually stop growing. That’s my PSA of the day!
Same here! Those products are the LAST thing I need. I’ve got awful vision and I have to wear contacts because glasses get in my eyelashes’ way!
My eye doctor confirmed that those lash growing products often turn blue eyes brown and if you stop using them, your eyelashes could fall out. Scary!
@Yvonne I thought i was alone in this! You know my pain of naturally beautiful, but ridiculously long lashes.
It’s great most of the time, but sometimes, it’s just annoying. When my allergies are acting up and my eyes are watery, I will wake up with ALL of my lashes stuck together and tangled. Yes, tangled! I have to wear these sunglasses that stick out almost an inch from my face to avoid “interference”.
That dress is much better. Is that her real hair? I can never tell, any who, I bet she looks fantastic with short hair.
And hell may have just frozen over, but I think Kristen looks nice in those pics, she’s even smiling-shocker I know!

I’d say it’s most likely a weave, don’t hold me to that though, because I’m certainly no expert.

I wonder why every time a black woman has more or less long hair, people question if it’s hers. Funny enough I never seen anyone questioning non-Black women hair when most of Hollywood females wear fake hair regardless of the race.
for me, it really has nothing to do with her color. I practically ask about everyone because I was clueless about the amount of fake hair worn by stars, I always thought it was real and they knew something-had some special product I knew nothing about. a couple of days ago there was a post about her where she had choppy longer layered hair on the cover of a magazine, I don’t see the layers here-so I asked..I meant nothing by it
Maybe because hair doesn’t magically grow two inches overnight? This really has nothing to do with race. The subject has been brought up in the past with several other women, including Jessica Chastain, Kardashians, Jessica Simpson, etc. Not JUST black women. And I’m just going to point this out, most black women aren’t born with silky, stick straight hair. If they have it, it’s normally the result of a relaxer or a weave.
Oh, and not to nit-pick, but I highly doubt celebs would be wearing synthetic, or “fake”, hair. They can certainly afford the real deal.

If you never “see anyone questioning Non-Black women’s hair” for weaves then you never read Celebitchy on a regular basis or you ONLY read the posts with Black actors. Because every man or woman regardless of race gets questioned about fake hair in the comments section here. If anything the writers like Kaiser and Bed Head call out only the White women with fake hair and leave the Black women alone, trying to be P.C. But in the comment section we are equal opportunity bitches. I don’t see you posting regularly so you probably miss all that.
