We’ve sort of already heard a version of this story already, but I guess it’s worth repeating until we get some wedding news out of Jennifer Aniston. Sidenote: Do you think Jennifer and Justin Theroux will marry this weekend, or will they be accused of trying to steal the Easter Bunny’s thunder?!? Anyway, remember when Jennifer scored the cover of People Magazine right after the Oscars and everyone was like, “Huh? How was Jennifer the most notable person at the Oscars?!” In that People cover story, “sources” claimed that Jennifer was determined to change her name to Jennifer Theroux once she married Justin, just because she thinks “Jennifer Theroux” sounds “posh”. Well, now Life & Style reports that Jennifer is already demanding that her friends refer to her as “Mrs. Theroux”:
Jennifer Aniston and her fiancé, Justin Theroux, have remained tight-lipped on their impending springtime nuptials, but now Life & Style can reveal Jen has already told friends and family to address her as “Mrs. Theroux.”
A pal of Jen’s confirms to Life & Style, on newsstands now, “She’s trying it on for size, and she loves the sound of it!”
Jen is taking her man’s surname so seriously that she’s thinking about ditching her maiden name — forever.
“She wants a fresh start,” the insider dishes to Life & Style. “She couldn’t be happier. Jen simply wants the world to know just how madly in love she is with Justin Theroux.”
Justin popped the question last August, and while the couple haven’t announced a date, the insider tells Life &Style, “The wedding is soon, and Jen is very happy about it.”
Eh. At this point, I think Justin’s PR-game-playing skills are probably equal to Jennifer’s PR game-skills, so maybe they’re a match made in heaven. I was going to say something about how he should look out (because his hipster credibility has left the building) or how she should look out (because he seems like a golddigger), but really… they’re perfect for each other. I look forward to seeing how she styles him for future red carpets. Somebody’s getting an eyebrow waxing!
Meanwhile, you know that film that Jennifer did in Connecticut? The one based on an Elmore Leonard book? Well, the director Daniel Schechter told The Hollywood Reporter, “It’s the best work she’s ever done and she’ll blow people away. I don’t think people will see it coming, she’s so talented and I was crying while watching it.” For the love of…! It’s an ensemble film that has the exact plot of Ruthless People!

She didn’t talk about it, it didn’t come from People, it’s made-up tabloid nonsence. It was mixed in with some People quotes to give it some plausibility.

She legally changed her name to “Pitt” when she married Brad. She just continued to use “Aniston” as her professional name. I think she’ll continue to do the same thing, especially at this point in her career.

If Jennifer helped “wreck” that relationship, then I can’t really back her. Wouldn’t want to. I think people should wait to get involved until they’ve let the dust settle in their last fanfare. That is was a stable, long-term partnership. They owned assets together, they shared an apartment together in which they lived together. Theres was a stable long-term life partnership, not in any way ‘off and on’. The Jen fan biased tabloids created the ‘on again off again’ lie to take heat off of aniston. The simple fact is that a marriage certificate proves no timeline any more than a relationship without it. A common law defacto marriage with assets is the proof. Heidi and Justin were still together when Aniston seduced him and stole him from Heidi. She did the same thing with Sandra Bullock and Tate Donovan mind you. She is without morals or scruples, she is a betrayer of women and a homewrecker. Heidi fled their apartment the weekend Theroux and Aniston made it official. Aniston is an abhorrent person with no concern for who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants, collateral damage be damned.

By ’all’ accounts? Nope. ’Sources close to Justin’ was the only account in Tabloids that said Heidi and Justin had been on again/off again (Jen-Hens saw that and RAN with it, baby). That statement was never seen again in any Tabloid after the late April photo of Justin and Heidi Bivens out on a ’date night’ looking very much a couple (three week before Jen announced to the world that Justin was her new man, and two months after Jen and Justin were first seen out as a couple in NYC). In fact, the event Justin and Heidi attended in late April that year put a caption next to their photo at the event’s website that said: “Actor Justin Theroux and his long-time love Heidi Bivens.”
We also have Heidi Bivens looking crushed and devastated while moving out of ’their’ apartment (they had lived together for the last six of their 14-year union) with Paps screaming questions at her about Jen and Justin’s relationship.

YES. And trying to reason with any one of them is way too hard. I don’t see a real problem with Aniston. She’s a mediocre actress who stars in pretty mediocre movies. She’s made terrible choices in her movie career. She has comedic talent but most of it has been wasted. But according to peeps I’ve met from the industry, she’s incredibly nice and inoffensive. People like to be around her. I think Brad Pitt is hit-and-miss. With the right vehicle and the right people around him, he pulls off some hits. Other times he’s completely embarrassing to watch. But again, from everything I’ve heard, people enjoy being around him and think he’s a nice person. Jolie is also mediocre in my opinion. Like Aniston, she’s had one or two things where I felt she was above average in the acting department. The rest is rubbish. And unlike the other two, I don’t ever hear good things about her personal life. Sorry, kids. I know you can’t believe everything you hear as gospel truth, though the sources are pretty damn good, I will say. 😉 My point is that maybe everyone should try to be a little more rational about it? There is a lot of gray, and looking at things so black and white never flatters anyone. 🙂

Whatever your take on BP’s “boring person” Parade comments JA did not respond. A sign that she was done with it. Really JT was the best thing for all parties involved from a PR angle. Now Jen is referenced involving her fiancée, wedding, and future roles. BP is referenced in regard to his fiancée, his wine, and his future roles. AJ is referenced by her children, her directing, and her charities and wedding. I think it’s a win win. I also think it suited JP fans when it was a win lose situation. I think Jennifer chooses to legally take her husbands name out of respect for the institution of marriage. When she divorced her first husband she took back her former name of Aniston legally and gave up his.
