I forgot to add some photos of Orlando Bloom in yesterday’s Cannes Film Festival wrap-up. Which is fine, because he kind of deserves his own post! Orlando flew to Cannes solo – no Miranda Kerr in sight, which is weird, right? I’m not saying it’s weird that a married couple isn’t joined at the hip, but it’s weird to me that Miranda would miss an opportunity to pose her ass off on the Croisette. Miranda loves to be on a red carpet in some revealing gown. Which makes me wonder why she didn’t switch her schedule around to accompany Orlando. Hm. Maybe she was just working super-hard with a really handsy and friendly photographer on some far-flung photoshoot?
Orlando was in Cannes on the last two days of the festival to promote his new drama/thriller, Zulu. Before now, I had only heard the name of the movie with no context, and I really thought it was a remake of that 1960s film with the same name about British soldiers fighting a Zulu insurgency. But it’s not, happily enough. This film costars Forest Whitaker, and Forest and Orlando play cops in South Africa investigating an apartheid-era crime. Orlando and Forest kept it tight while in Cannes too – they were spotted eating together (Orlando ordered two desserts) and they shared a bottle of wine.
I’m including photos of Orlando from the Zulu photocall, the Zulu premiere and the Cannes closing ceremony where Orly presented the Best Actress award. Even though I think his tux is too fussy, I think Orly is looking really good here. Hm.
PS… The tongue photo is just for the Orly-loonies. They are out there and they are obsessed. They deserve some Orly Tongue.

Oh he’s definitely not an accent person…lol. Just watch Elizabethtown that he did with Kirsten Dunst. He tries to put on an American accent and fails miserably.
Still think he is adorable…even more so with blonde hair and pointy elf ears. 😉
His parents are from SA, I expect he could probably replicate what he heard from them. Pair that with a good dialect coach and he stands a fighting chance.
Only his father was from South Africa and he died when Bloom was 4 or 5, I doubt he remembers a lot about him. I think his mother was born in India to British parents, but don’t take my word for that.
Yes this is the best he has looked in a long time. Good for him that he’s getting back to making films. With this movie and the hobbit. And he also has his broadway play. I wish him luck. He can do better than kerr.

Miranda is an attention hogging b whether he told her to stay home or she decided not to come either way its best for him. Let him have the entire spotlight for once instead of her turning it into a look at me event.

He looking fine. Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that he has more (and better) fashion campaigns then her, the self-named supermodel? He has Magnum (he went to Istanbul to film the commercial before coming to Cannes), British Airways (he apparently flying to Sydney now to appear at some events for them), Hugo Boss Orange (had it for years) and Jack&Jones. She spends the majority of her time posing naked for her own skincare line and apparently still has Mango & Qantas but hasn’t done anything with them for months. Bloom also has Zulu promotion, a Broadway play coming up and filming the Hobbit in NZ. And he has Flynn most of the time, so why exactly is she the one in the papers all the time? He def deserves a more caring wife then her, she hasn’t even mentioned anything about the Cannes premier of her husbands movie but instead posted something about Kora and a naked picture (again) of herself, yawn.

I absolutely agree, and the part that I find most amusing about this is that Miranda probably thinks HE is the lucky one to have HER!
Lol, no doubt she thinks that and her fans too. Whenever there is a photo-shoot of her naked (which is most of the time when she has one coming out) there are (mostly) men who comment how lucky Bloom is to have her and I always have to laugh. Lucky how? To have to share her with at least half dozen other men, to be publicly humiliated whenever she feels like sleeping around (his latest nickname is PoorOrli) to have what millions have also seen, to know he will always come second behind her own ego, to know that she uses his son and name for publicity? Please, he looks better and happier when she’s not around as shown by these pictures.

I read online, that one of the reasons a VS model gets fired is when there´s negative publicity is about to surface, so maybe they are heading for a divorce?
I think it is quite telling that they didn´t use one of the biggest red carpets in the year to promote their happily married farce.
Had a quick search, they’re spotted together on April 25th getting out of a car, he was carrying Flynn, she her designer bag while smiling at the paps. If I’m correct she was spotted flying to NY on 26th, after which she spend weeks partying and flirting with Gerard Butler. She went to Met alone and when he flew into NY she posted a picture of Flynn on instagram for Mother’s Day and then flew off to Miami where she was seen flashing her tits and hugging other men, she’s been silent since the backlash that generated….
He really needs to get rid of Kerr, she uses him for her own publicity and doesnt give two shits for him, he doesn’t need her anymore, everyone is rooting for him she will only drag him down and try to take all his limelight!

On the same day Orlando is photographed alone in Cannes, which is the biggest celebrity gathering in Europe, pictures of his topless wife were posted having an “OOOps, I pulled down my top” fashion malfunction at a photo-shoot. Shortly there after she posted an Instagram on twitter with her and the photographer in full embrace.

Sadly, she has. And that “wardrobe malfunction” photo – so, so insufferably fake and phoney. Would she really be aghast at flashing her boobs by accident when she takes every opportunity to flash them deliberately?
I am so happy for him that he was able to leave her alone so that the focus can be on him and his career. I have a soft spot for him and wish him well, for him, and so we get to enjoy more of him at the movies.
The picture of him with his hands clasped cracks me up. It looks like a senior yearbook photo. “Now think about all the amazing changes you’re going to make in the world while gazing into the distance.”
