Here are the last photos from this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Most of the pics are from the closing ceremony, which was last night. Would you like to know who took home the top prizes? Of course you would. The Palme d’Or went to Blue Is the Warmest Color, a French film about a young woman’s sexual awakening (spoiler: she’s a lesbian and there are some very explicit lesbian sex scenes). The two young actresses, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Léa Seydoux, were also called out for special recognition, although neither was given the “Best Actress” award, which went to Berenice Bejo for her role in Le Passe. The Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis won the Grand Prix, Bruce Dern won best actor for Alexander Payne’s Nebraska. You can read more about the awards handed out here.
Nicole Kidman in a white Armani gown… it’s okay. It really shows off her bolt-ons.
Uma Thurman in Versace, with her baby-daddy Arpad Busson. The gown is pretty showgirl for Uma, right?
Berenice Bejo in Elie Saab… kind of boring, but a beautiful shade of teal.
Zhang Ziyi in Dior. WTF is with this dress? It looks like the top part was dropped in Gatorade.
Laetitia Casta in Dior FEATHERS. OMG.
