Kirstie Alley teams up with former X-Factor contestant to mean girl Leah Remini

I’ve been digging in the weeds in this Lea Remini, Kirstie Alley Scientology feud and it sounds like ridiculous grade school gossip. It’s hard to believe that Kirstie Alley is a grown woman, and yet of course she’s found an ally in her cult who is as emotionally stunted as she is. We’ve heard that Kirstie has been holding meetings to organize a Scientology shut-of of Leah Remini. Now she’s openly teaming up with a woman named Stacy Francis, a singer and former X-Factor contestant who used to be a friend of Leah’s. Stacy has called up multiple favors from Leah in the past, including borrowing money from her. Now that Leah has broken ties with the cult, Stacy is trashing her.

It’s painful to try and make sense of Kirstie and Leah’s idiotic (and vanishing) tweets to each other, but just know that they’re plotting against Leah. On one side of her mouth Kirstie is denying the many stories about her. On the other side she tweeting transparent messages to her CO$ biddies and deleting them, just begging people to call her on her bullshit.

Leah’s sister, Nicole, the one who has been speaking on her behalf to date, told Radar the latest drama.

Leah’s sister, Nicole Remini-Wiskow tells RadarOnline.com that The X Factor star Stacy Francis, who once performed at Scientology functions, is standing alongside Kirstie in making Leah’s life miserable.

On Sunday night, Kirstie tweeted a mysterious message to Stacy: “Oy!!! are you coming Tuesday night?? M has the details!”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Scientology critic Tony Ortega claimed that Kirstie hosted a Scientology crisis meeting at the home of Melinda Brownstone.

On Tuesday, Stacy then retweeted Kirstie’s post insisting her tweets about being betrayed by a friend were not about Leah.

Leah’s sister responded on Twitter, writing: “We know this girl who will have a show about being a Christian in Hollywood. Yet, she is siding with people who acting [sic] in evil. Interesting.” (Stacy has said she is in the “beginning stages” of filming a reality show.)

Stacy then responded with “nasty things on Twitter” in a Mean Girls like barrage, Nicole says.

Stacy deleted the tweets, but in messages recovered by RadarOnline.com, she writes, “People are so shady!! Say it if you got the nerve! Say it! don’t be cryptic!! Get the balls to say it to me! AND!ONLY IF YOU KNOW THE TRUTH!…DON’T BE A SHIT STARTER @nicoleremini YOU BETTER NOT BE TWEETIN ABOUT ME! Oh and nice you are friends again with your OWN SISTER Don’t do it…DEAR SELF>>>>>>GO TO BED! Dealing with bulimic crazy people won’t help you tonight.”

“Like, really?” Nicole says…”Wait a minute Stacy. We were the only ones that stood by you when your family and friends all abandoned you when you got pregnant by that mysterious man whose name we’re not supposed to mention.” Stacy’s baby daddy is Bishop Noel Jones, as RadarOnline.com has reported.

“Leah gave her money,” Nicole claims. “When Stacy wanted to be on The X Factor Leah set that up for her. My sister let her back into her life and all of a sudden she goes and writes this nasty tweet.”

“Leah is not the type of person to cause trouble like that,” Nicole says, and she’s shocked to see former friends go by the wayside. “We had no idea it was going to be like this.”

[From Radar Online]

In response to Stacy’s rant against Nicole, Kirstie tweeted a public message to Stacy “You’re too good to talk to that b***h. Tune her..block her..don’t give her her 15 minutes of fame to spew her hate xxo.” She later tweeted “Dear haters can you please jump faster and louder on my tweets ?!? You’re falling behind.” Of course she deleted both tweets, but the Daily Mail has screenshots.

Former Scientologist Mike Rinder has more on his blog about Stacy’s shifting allegiances, and what this is likely to mean in the murky world of Scientology politics. Basically this woman will be discarded by the cult when she’s no longer useful, which will be soon.

A less fair-weather friend of Leah’s, a judge on RuPaul’s drag race, is speaking out for her. Michelle Visage tells cult expert Tony Ortega that Remini’s Scientology friends have been “scattering like roaches” and that “Only her real friends are left.” Michelle said that this is of course hurtful to Leah and that it surprises her how widespread it is. “Not one person has stood up to say, ‘No, I’m not going to abandon my friend.’ That’s amazing to me.”

The Remini family gave Scientology millions of dollars, and for her to be treated this way is incredible.

Leah’s Scientology “friends” aren’t standing up for her, because they know if they even dare text her, they’re next. They don’t want to lose all their friends and most of their family, and most of them probably don’t have a fraction of the resources or connections she does.

This is Stacy Francis. Classy.

Stacy Francis is shown in April, 2013. Leah Remini photos are from 2012 and 2013. Kirstie Alley is shown in 2008. Photo credit: WENN.com and FameFlynet.

    Leah, this, too, will pass! Later you’ll look back, surrounded by real friends and family, and know that you made the best decision.

    • Decloo says:

      Why are Leah and her sister so surprised that their old COS buddies are cutting them dead? They’ve been in this cult their whole lives. They know the drill.

      • Ennie says:

        They probably thought that given her highish profile she could do an escape a-la Katie, where nor Tom, Kirstie or their minions said anything bad about them.
        Katie suffered none of these things, and she was married to one of these desperate attacks. Probably Lea thought that she was important enough to make a clean cut… Welll guess what? They play dirty!

      • gogoGorilla says:

        All of this makes me think that Katie must have something MASSIVE on Tom. It’s the only explanation for being left mostly to herself (as far as we can tell).

        I feel sorry for Leah, but good riddance to friends like that.

  2. Mercy says:

    U get mad because ur so called ‘friend’,doesnt want to be in a FANTASIE CULT,with their fantasy stories?Its like getting REALLY mad @Donald Duck, for always yelling @his nephews.Kristie fell down a long well.

  3. LAK says:

    Does Kirstie NOT listen to her publicist??

    • Faye says:

      LOL. If she has one, she should fire her and save money, because either 1) she’s giving her bad advice or 2) she’s ignoring her entirely.

    • Bridget says:

      I would guess that Kirstie hasn’t had one in a long time, since publicists aren’t cheap amd Kirstie is clearly low on $$$. Pretty much wverything she’s done for years has been a blatant cash grab. And honestly, I can’t picture Kirstie being anything more than a paycheck to any sort of management, because she seems like she’d be a high maintenance client who wouldnt listen to advice anyhow.

  4. Sloane Wyatt says:

    Leah Remini has a book in her about being raised in Co$, and I would definitely read it. Leah should do the interview rounds, and then take on a prominent science fiction role!

  5. JenD says:

    I guess Kirstie doesn’t realize she’s not helping Xenu’s cause when she acts like this. It just makes the whole organization look even crazier.

  6. Pinky says:

    You’re welcome.

  7. Shauna says:

    Good morning CB! I think the first line of the second paragraph should read Kirstie and Stacy. 🙂

  8. blue marie says:

    Leah’s better off without those fruitcakes.. Kirstie is nuckin futs..

  9. Lulu86 says:

    wow i am just in shock that these are women in their 40s carrying on like that. Have some self respect and decency.

    • Jennifer says:

      Kirstie is 62… Which makes it even funnier

    • Ella says:

      Twitter really brings out the worst in some people. They’re grown women and suddenly it’s like Mean Girls.

    • UsedToBeLulu says:

      I read once, that most people never reach emotional maturity. Are stuck forever at ~ 14 years of age. Seems about right judging by these Twitter shennanigans.

  10. Willa says:

    I thought Stacy was the Ru Paul friend! Woof!!

  11. DawnOfDagon says:

    Re Stacey whatsherface, those can only be talons!

  12. Katy says:

    Wow, she looks like she could be snooki’s mom to me.

  13. MademoiselleRose says:

    I suppose if Kirsty Alley wanted to play the wicked witch of the west, at least she wouldn’t need any makeup or acting talent. She looks to have it down pat. She’s so disgusting.

  14. truthful says:

    Stacy Francis??

    she is trash, if I am not mistaken, she got into a shoving match w/Whitney Houston just before she passed away about RAY J, (of Kim K porn fame/Brandy’s brother) LOL!!

    this seems like something she’d be a part of–MESSY mean girl crap.

    Team LEAH and family!!!

    look at Kirstie, see what being full of hell does to your face, and she’s supposed to be a comedian. LOL

    ps. didn’t Stacy get caught up in some major lies while she was on that show??

    • Kim1 says:

      Yeah “that Stacy”,be careful her lawyer will send a cease and desist libel and defamation letter.He sends them to sites that mention rumors about her.His name is Roger L Patton,Esq I wonder if he works with COS

    • claire says:

      She also has weirdly inserted herself into the Leann Rimes/Brandi Glanville saga on many occasions, and kisses LR ass a lot. Most people can see that she is an opportunist and will try to hitch a ride on any celebrities’ coattails. She’s a weird one.

      • Ennie says:

        So this Stacy wanted to be in the x factor and Leah helped her by probably asking Jennifer Lopez who was a judge there to use her connections. And now she does this.
        Low.
        I read in another thread how she was singing to TC on a crazy cruise birthday party where they “homaged” him with all songs from his hits. Saw the video, He was elated, next to his sides, the miscaviges and that shady Miscavige assistant, who ended up acting as a surrogate wife of miscavige.

      • Kim1 says:

        Lopez was on Idol (Fox) not X factor (NBC)

    • Pandy says:

      Stacy also appears as the singer in the CO$ video with Tom Cruise. I don’t remember what the party was for – his birthday maybe? – but I recognized her from XFactor when I saw the video.

      Ha – found the link from 2004: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhM60ZQz86M

  15. Sarah says:

    So this is how much of a loser you look like when you mean girl someone at 60. Your insecurity is showing, Kirstie!

  16. Dawn says:

    This is not surprising because this is how cults act. None of these people are nice to people who are not in their cult unless it’s business. The fact that Leah has the guts to leave mean they have to gang up to show those who stayed what can happen to them. It is all very sad but I do believe at the end of the Remini family will not regret this decision to leave.

  17. Aud says:

    Don’t know why Kirstie is given air time or any time at all.
    A has-been that should never have been on screen and ever so desperate to kickstart some semblance of a career shilling anything that will provide her with an easy income that she’ll stoop to the lowest subterranean level to do so.

  18. Snowpea says:

    Um why does Kirstie always look so goddamn filthy?

    All the pics you see, her hair is matted and greasy and her clothes are rumpled and covered in food stains.

    She grosses me out. She’s a mean girl and dirty to boot. Uggggh.

  19. Hubbahun says:

    What a nasty, pathetic life Kirstie leads. It must be exhausting to be that relentless unpleasant all the freaking time. Worthless wench.

  20. Shelby says:

    Kirstie is vile

  21. Vanass01 says:

    Omg Scientology is so crazy! Read Inside Scientology by Janet Reidman- rolling stone journalist. Inside it details everything.

    Hubbard who had been up to the time he published his first book a liar/conartist/ science fiction writer- came up with “Dianetics” which says trauma scars (engrams) from past memories cured through auditing (reliving the trauma over and over to a peer councillor) can cure colds, mental illness, wars, all bad feelings and even cancer… His organisations built on this book (which had a fad best selling success in the 50s) eventually started going broke due to mismanagement and declining support due to inconsistent effectiveness and they eventually went bankrupt. He had to find a way to revamp Dianetics so that he could open up new organisations without being forced to take on the debt of the failed ones. So he came up with Scientology- with a spiritual angle to the engram theory explaining it as a spiritual crisis- purely out of the only way he saw to avoid having to pay debts that his Dianetics organisations owed!

    He created the Emeters to make it appear to be a “science” which appealed to a disullusioned post war generation, and made it an organised religion so that he would reap all the profits and sole acclaim for his ideas this time (he was distressed people were using his first book Dianetics to start up their own independent groups and practices without his control and gaining their own fame based on the ideas in his book). It made a mint almost immediately as a religion. Lots of people actually believe auditing helps them feel good and cures physical ailments (Emeters track distress until is reads zero distress or “clear”- no more engram). apparently the process of auditing can work temporarily in the same way saying “ball” 100 times makes the word loose its meaning.

    With a “bridge” system- you pay for treatments and work your way up levels- with the goal of attaining superhuman powers and Total Freedom (Tom cruise is at this level and supposedly has the ability to bend MEST matter,energy,space,time) people keep having a carrot dangled whilst paying out of their arses an copping abuse.

    Hubbard was a crazy authoritarian narcissist/paranoid psycho and his stupid cult is run in the same way to this day.

    Please read the facinatong book _ will shed an interesting light on this story!

  22. eliza says:

    Is that Stacy creature missing teeth? Maybe Scientology can pay for her much needed dental work.

    Alley is a repulsive, nasty individual. Is she that delusional that she thinks any normal, non-cult member cares what she and some zlist singer have to say about Rimini?

    Who cares if Rimini was/is bulimic. I thought Scientology was supposed to cure everyone of their “ills”? They should realize this immature Tweeting makes them look pathetic and weak. Scientology is a fready deaky cult. End of story.

  23. Deidre says:

    Good cop/bad cop questioning motives and renounce another’s right to free speech in a cover-up interrogation.. burn your victim to defeated ashes will blow up in her face.. but then.. It appears that rudely belittling others, crush the opponent with slander cruelty and freely taking blows for being the mean witch instigator has happened numerous times before.. only her personal friends are publicly named and they sure won’t appreciate being exposed

  24. Lucy2 says:

    I don’t know why the Reminis are surprised – did they not see this happen to others who left? Their real friends will stick with them, and new ones will be made. Leave the crazies behind.
    This twitter mean girling is so pathetic, esp coming from adults. I think Leah’s sister should ignore that noise and focus on legitimate publicity.

    Lol on the mobile site, there was an ad for CO$ at the bottom of this page! Too funny.

    • Decloo says:

      I smell a book deal or a reality show or something. That’s why the sister keeps engaging.

  25. Nicolette says:

    Kirstie, hush up and go eat another doughnut. And is Stacy really a woman?

  26. Izzy says:

    I completely support Leah Remini in her decision to blow out of the Haus of $cilon, but how the hell did she and her family NOT see this meangirl stuff coming? When you roll with Xenu, you roll with the $cilon meangirls…

  27. nycboots says:

    Kirstie Alley is an ugly, disgusting beast. Inside and out.

  28. dorothy says:

    Kirsti actions only reinforce the strong negative feeling people have about the cult. If this is how they teach you to treat people, no wonder there’s such a backlash. I’m just so thankful that people are seeing them for what they are.

  29. RHONYC says:

    “Dear haters…”

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    is it me, or does this sound odd coming from a 50+ grown-ass woman? 🙄
    • Izzy says:
      It’s not just you. She’s really that immature.
      • Emily C. says:
        That’s Scientology. The hate sites they set up have an incredibly juvenile tone too. It’s all L. Ron Hubbard “tech”, to become as emotionally crippled as he was.
  30. Cicada says:
    Kirstie is such a hag.
  31. lisa says:
    so the best sidekick kirsti could get for this was an also ran on x factor? bless
  32. Jennifer12 says:
    Cults are the worst. As for Leah, she’s a Brooklyn girl. They get down with the best of them, so don’t worry. Some aging senior citizen actress with few jobs won’t do much to her.
  33. notleo says:
    How much uglier can Kristie get? Her real self is showing on her face. bleh.
  34. SusieQ2 says:
    Yup, typical behaviour from ‘the most ethical people on the planet’.
    Keep doing what you’re doing Kirstie and co. You’re showing the world your true CO$ colors and educating thousands.
    And if there is any doubt disconnection exists in this insidious cult, read todays post from Tony Ortega at the Underground Bunker, which includes the story of Jan Sherrie Woods.
    http://tonyortega.org/2013/07/22/disconnection-a-double-dose-of-scientologys-toxic-use-of-leverage
    Keep fighting Leah because you are doing the right thing.
    • Izzy says:
      I just read it, and I am honestly nauseated by it.
      For any $cilons out there who are reading this: those of us who see through your lies, are not afraid of you. We stand with those who break free of your tyranny. And if you don’t like it, suck it.
      To my fellow CBers: sorry folks, hope I didn’t offend any of you, it’s just that I reached my daily vom limit with these a-holes.
  35. Juliette says:
    So, is there another unwritten rule that to be in the COS you have to look worn out and haggard?
    Both Stacy and Kirsti look like drag queen (no offense to the gorgeous drag queens) hot messes while Leah looks you and fresh.
    Another reason to stay away from this cult. They both look dirty and crazy.
    Team Leah.
    • Jayna says:
      I would agree except Kelly Preston looks amazing and she’s fifty, I think. She still has a natural-looking fresh face, much younger looking than her years, better than all the plasticized Real Housewives in California.
      I thought COS was supposed to bring you to your best and bring you to new heights careerwise. I guess it’s not working for Stacey and Kirstie. Time for more auditing sessions. LOL
  36. Emily C. says:
    Of course she’s emotionally stunted: she’s a Scientologist. Scientology is designed to emotionally cripple people. When someone leaves the cult, decompresses, and realizes it is all a pack of evil lies, they eventually become full human beings again. Even Kirstie Alley could do it, I think.
    Tom Cruise is a lost cause, though.
  37. MissMoody says:
    I remember this Stacy Francis broad from the X Factor (don’t judge me I’ve watched every miserable season thus far) and she was good. Really good voice but she cried like ALL. THE. TIME. Her story was that her husband basically abused her and made her feel worthless and only now did she finally have the confidence to break free and live her dreams as a singer and a single mother. People thought she might win and then it came out about her getting knocked up by another man before she was even divorced. And a Bishop to boot! Oh and that she had sung for Tom Cruise and previously held record deals. There was an audience backlash, she was booted, didn’t hear from her again until now. Hopefully that doesn’t last.
    • Lady D says:
      When you say Bishop you mean the job description, not a surname right?
      I don’t know why I am shocked about behaviour in the church anymore. I just seem to have a bad habit of expecting better of people.
      • claire says:
        Yes. The job description. He is/was? the Bishop of a megachurch in LA. She’s shady. I remember when she was on the X-Factor and a lot of stuff came out then about her sob story being a lie, etc. There were even websites exposing her true history and connections.
        She was totally off my radar for years though until, like I mentioned above, she got all mistresses-defending-mistresses over Leann Rimes, started inserting herself into that drama. Leann is tweeting her she loves her, Leann’s fans are suddenly fans of Stacy’s. I thought….does no one remember who this lady is?!
      • paranormalgirl says:
        not a Catholic Bishop.
  38. Bob Eckert says:
    Need an edit at “It’s painful to try and make sense of Kirstie and Leah’s idiotic (and vanishing) tweets to each other”, should be “…Kirstie and Stacy’s…” And it might help to clarify that the “Bishop” is from the Pentecostals rather than the Catholics (“Bishop” is pretty much a self-appointed position among the Pentecostals).
  39. Jayna says:
    Grown women on twitter acting like high school. That’s what it reduces you to. I refuse to be on twitter.
  40. Jayna says:
    So People said Leah’s mother is still in the church, kind of a big wig in it or holds a position in COS.
  41. RN says:
    Leah considered these two women close friends for years? Hmmm….. pay attention to whom a person chooses as her confidants. It says a lot about her own character. I find it interesting that, all of a sudden, Leah is elevated to “Saint Leah” while her friends are the devil. She’s the one who kept company with them for years. Presumably she had some understanding of how her own “religion” works. I’m sure she was on the other side of at least one “shunning” incident during her lifetime.
    • 5thHouse says:
      Probably.
    • jwoolman says:
      She didn’t shun her sister, who left a couple of years ago. I think she’s choosier than most about what Co$ instructions to follow. Probably her whole family is like that. Her mom pulled the girls out of SeaOrg when they were being treated badly. She believed her girls rather than Co$ authorities.
  42. boomboom says:
    jeesh this makes them look more and more like a xrazy cult that they are than just a harmless celeb butt kissing crew that i thought they were
  43. Mitch Buchanan Rocks! says:
    In the last photo Leah Remini looks like a young Hilary Duff.
  44. skuddles says:
    Alley is one nasty, ugly woman, inside and out.
  45. K-Rock says:
    Jr High antics on steroids.
  46. DailyNightly says:
    I really used to like Kirstie but now I’ve lost all respect for her. I’ll never watch another thing she is in.
  47. Bodhi says:
    CB, Kaiser, & Bedhead, have you read Going Clear? I just finished it & it is REALLY good. I still don’t get why people fall for & stick with it for so long, but it has some fascinating insights into how it started & grew into such a massive company.
    Good stuff
  48. msw says:
    Does adulthood cease to exist on twitter? What cesspool.
    • jwoolman says:
      Well, somebody has to put the Twit in Twitter. Wish Kirstie would come to her senses, there is a lot I always liked about her. But this stuff is so bizarre and mean-spirited.
  49. jilly says:
    I’m surprised that the Reminis are surprised. Isn’t this the way their cult has ALWAYS worked? Why did they think things would be different for them?
    • jwoolman says:
      Maybe because her sister was mainly under the radar when she quit a couple of years ago? Her family never disconnected from her. But Leah is famous enough (King of Queens is still on so much in syndication) to count but doesn’t have the clout of a Tom Cruise. So Co$ wants to “make an example” of her. Don’t think it will work.
      Can’t you just see the PSAs? “This is your brain.” (Cue the frying pan and eggs.) “This is your brain on Scientology.” (sizzle sizzle)
