Here are some photos from the 2013 Whitney Gala & Studio Party in New York City last night. It wasn’t as artsy as you would think, although Jeff Koons was there. Maybe some of the other artists simply didn’t walk the carpet, leaving it for the actresses and celebrities. So here is Michelle Williams, wearing one of the cutest Louis Vuitton dresses I’ve seen in a while. I know no one is going to go crazy over Michelle in a little black dress, but if you’re going to do an LBD, do it this way. Very clean, perfect fit, great cut – sophisticated but not stuffy, simple but interesting. My one complaint: I feel like Michelle’s hair is still at a very awkward stage.
Dianna Agron in Louis Vuitton as well – Dianna has been wearing some very conservative looks lately. While I like that she isn’t all about showing off her body, I do wonder if she’s bordering on frumpy at times.
Riley Keough in Louis Vuitton. She looks more like her mom here, right? But it’s a cute, sexy outfit. She must have felt comfortable leaving her home, knowing that roaming bands of Twihards would not attack her.
Sofia Coppola in Louis Vuitton – I usually think she looks great, but this is awful. The pants don’t look right and that sweater is… ugh.
Alexa Chung in Louis Vuitton. Ugh. The mini is cute, I guess, but it feels like her styling is off. I think it’s the hair.
Zoe Kravitz in ?? Louis Vuitton probably. I would change the lipstick and that’s all.

Why do I not like Williams?
Riley Keough. Good grief. She looks rough and hard. Why are people still trying to make her happen? Anything I have seen her in, she is awful. Recently saw a movie with her and Orlando Bloom and she was just terrible. In my opinion, girl cannot act. She is definitely skating on her heritage. If she was Cindy from Morristown, she would “maybe” be doing community theater.
ITA on RK! And every time I see her she looks like a budget Liv Tyler with a bad orange weave.
Love the dress but what is that coming out of Zoe’s nose?? A nose ring? I don’t get her she is cute but not as hot has both her parents.

I think Michelle looks great, so pretty. I’m not really a fan of anything Zoe is wearing.
I love Zoe’s look!! Michelle is gorgeous, for sure, but the dress is pretty boring IMO. I look forward to when bright colors make a comeback~I love seeing them in clothes.
I almost always love Sofia Coppola’s style and I generally love stripes. But I agree – that sweater is awful. Really dislike Michelle Williams dress as well. Those bows, especially. Ugh.
Perfect critique of looks nicely done
I’m not usually a huge Michelle Williams fan (I find her inoffensive and harmless, just not that interesting), but I think she looks PERFECT here. I LOVE her hair…I don’t think it looks awkward at all. She also looks like she maybe put on a couple pounds and it is showing in her face–she needed that and looks amazing.
1st Sofia Coppola is not wearing a sweater. It is a fur pull over.
I miss the 90’s when CBK would show in little black dresses and it was not considered “boring.” Noticed this was the commentary with Sandra Bullock recently.

I really like Michelle’s hair style. It really suits her. I think there’s something going on with the combination of very harsh lighting and that awful orange background to make everyone look less than their best on this carpet.
