First off, I want to tell Brandi Glanville that this sinus infection/bug that’s going around is just the worst. I noticed on her Twitter a few days ago that she was complaining about it, and I had it last week (as did CB) and it’s just the worst. It’s going around big-time too – people are dropping like flies. So if you get it, just know that after about four days, you feel a lot better. But those first three days are a bitch.
Anyway, as we discussed endlessly last week & in a post on Sunday, Brandi and Eddie Cibrian are still fighting about money. When we last checked in, I think we’d established that Eddie had sent Brandi legal paperwork that basically said he overpaid in her financial support (either alimony or child support or both) and the money was being taken out of her share of his retirement accounts. I kind of thought that would be the end of it. Of course not. Not when Brandi has a book to promote and not when Eddie and LeAnn want to make sure that everyone calls Brandi a liar.
Brandi Glanville will not go down without a fight, now claiming ex-hubby Eddie Cibrian is making a play for money that could send her and her kids to the poor house.
Sources connected with Eddie tell TMZ … Brandi’s lawyer, Ron Rale, fired off a letter to Eddie in response to his claim that he overpaid her support money to the tune of $114,738 … and he wants that deducted from her share of their financial settlement.
We’re told the letter Eddie just got is blistering … accusing him of trying to sandbag Brandi with a bill she simply can’t afford to pay.
What’s more … Rale says in the letter Eddie was asleep at the wheel … under the judge’s order he can’t just wait 4 years and nail her … if he suspected he was overpaying he had to demand an audit within 6 months.
Again, I don’t believe that this is money that Brandi would have to literally “pay back”. It’s not like Eddie is demanding a check for $114,000. This is money that Brandi will NOT be getting from his retirement account, from what I understood from last week? But the whole “Eddie’s too late in filing this paperwork” is an interesting detail. We’ll see what the judge or the lawyers say. Basically, I don’t believe Eddie is actually asking Brandi to write a check and I think Brandi is just looking for an angle to play the “pity poor me, I can’t afford to raise my children even though I’m on a successful reality show and I’m a bestselling author and I go shopping all the time.” Girl, if you want to save money, stop spending so much money on your bar bills.

I saw Brandi on E News yesterday and she was talking about how she didn’t want to fight with Eddie and Leann and how she wished they could all get along. It was such BS. Brandi loves the fighting because it keeps her relevant and allows her to be a “best selling author”. Fighting with Eddie and Leann is all Brandi has.

But she is a NY times best-selling author X2. This ongoing ordeal is pretty much all Leann/Eddie has to keep their names out there. Her last album tanked and his acting career is non-existent.
This public discussion of funds for the children of a messy divorce is just so classless. But what do we expect from these people?
Brandi should take a good hard look at what some mothers go through, I know a mother who would have to decide between purchasing milk and diapers some weeks if it weren’t for the help of friends and family. Can you imagine the stress she lives under, the feelings of failure? And she does everything she can for her child but some women are TRULY in a bad situation.
Brandi, on the other hand, is just boo-hooing. This mother I mentioned above absolutely never goes out or buys new clothes for herself or pampers herself. That is a true sacrifice for her child and Brandi knows nothing about that kind of sacrifice.

This is true. But a lot of real mothers don’t have to shuffle off their kids to a millionaires house.
so? that doesn’t change the fact that Brandi is making almost triple to what the average american makes. And just because she doesn’t have as much money as Eddie/LeAnne doesn’t mean she is poor or suffering.
Small note if she really wanted to give her kids some of the stuff Eddie/Leanne do she could, not all but some all she’d have to do is stop constantly spending on herself.
Brandi lived the high life for years. Look at the two homes she lived in. One was a $2 million house they sold for $4 million. The next was a massive home too. She and Eddie lived a big life and she is quite familiar with that life. It’s not like Eddie is all of a sudden “fancy.” She and LeAnn drive the exact same very expensive cars.
I agree it sucks she downsized, but she’s far from poor. Now she doesn’t have that home they used ot have, but she does live in a nice zip code area in a spacious home. I agree she has to compete with the toys they buy the kids she feels. But a rock climbing wall gets old after a little bit of time for the kids after the novelty wears off. That’s something a kid would want to do every great once in a while she could take them to. A movie theatre. Fancy, but as long as the kids get the movies they like, popcorn, candy, drink, they are golden and they aren’t comparing. Her home she is renting is very nice in a very nice area with a very nice, comfy family room. I saw her tour on Bravo.com of her home.
. A trampoline? That is the staple of many a middle class family. So spare me she can’t afford a trampoline. A pool? She has a pool. So her kids can have their friends over to play in the pool same as at LeAnn an Eddie’s.
Kids mostly live for their electronics anyway. If she can afford another brand new Range Rover she purchased recently, she can certainly afford their electronics.
Large grounds to live on? Okay. She doesn’t have that. Well, Brandi can take them horseback riding to local places that offer that. She can take them to theme parks close by. She can take them to water parks. These kids are kids and Brandi can give them just about the same things. Designer clothes? LOL Come on. They are kids. They don’t care. And most children have some label clothes. Brandi calls them designer. LOL But kids that age need few of those as they are rough and tumble.
Trips? If Brandi isn’t taking them on trips, it’s not because she can’t afford a few weekend getaways and one large trip with another single mother or by herself or with her sister. I’ve done it alone. I’ve done it with other friends with kids. My friends have done it, all without husbands. Brandi has the money. She can’t take as many as them, but she can certainly do a trip with her boys.
you know its funny you say that b/c my mom was a single mother and she NEVER received a penny of support for either me or my sister but I never once heard her claim or even play the “But Im a single mom” card..blah, blah blah. She was doer, meaning she just went to work and kept a roof over our heads and food in our mouths. we were very poor growing up but I honestly can not remember my mother ever complaining or saying anything about being a single mother b/c I know it was her choice at the time. Same for a lot of my gfs that raised kids by themselves. sure they complain about how hard it is but they just did it without turning it into a pity party.
I’ve always found the ones that talk/bitch about how everything they do is for and about their kids are usually the ones that do very little and are like BG, claiming poverty and this an that about the kids but then shop constantly, get reg. beauty treatments, b*tch about the cost of their kids food while getting their mani’s, pedi, etc.
I know it’s common to call a divorced woman a single mom, but I do not see the logic. If your ex partner is still involved with the kids financially, emotionally, etc, you’re not raising the kids alone. In my mind Brandi is not a single mom, she is a single woman.
So it’s slightly annoying to hear her complain that Eddie doing this is “hurting the kids” because I am sure that the amount Brandi gets from their retirement account does not affect the kids at all. What will hurt them is all of this drama playing out in the media, so both parents should end this pettiness once and for all.
I was a single mom for about 18 months and it is hard, even with child support, so kudos to your mum.
You really just have to get on with it. You surround yourself with good friends who can let you cry on a bad day but for the most part you bust your ass trying to make up the roles of two people because that’s what your child needs.
Which is why this cow is infuriating at times, I like the drama, it’s like a scab I like to pick at but sometimes I think she’s really smart for having made a career out of being the abandoned wife and mother, other times I want to smack her for her audacity.
I wonder how much more money she spends on warping her face on a monthly basis. She’d probably save a fortune if she took care of herself like an actual single mother (which is brushing your teeth, if your lucky squeeze in a shower).

You make an excellent point about being a single mom vs a divorced mom. I dont consider divorced moms who receive child support “single mothers” either. To me, that term is for the mom’s doing EVERYTHING by themselves, from the support to the raising, which my mom did. I think thats why I also get disgusted with her playing that card b/c she actually has help financially plus she even has an assistant and those kids have had nannies too, sorry but that is not what a single mom is, at least not to me and others like my mom. She doesnt have a clue what its really like to be poor and wonder if the groceries will last until payday.
YES. My mom was a single mom–by the time she was 28, she had three kids, and neither of the two fathers were paying any type of child support. The people who helped her were her family–by babysitting/watching us while she was in the Navy, overseas.
She was so poor that when she finally came to the US and got an apartment, etc–we had a couch, a table, a couple of chairs, and we slept on mattresses on the floor. For food, she went to a butcher and got about 20 pounds of chicken–feathers were still on it, it was still blood and in big chunks–for about 20 bucks, and that was all we ate.
She actually thought about donating/selling some of her ovaries, for money–but didn’t because she didn’t know if we’d ever end up seeing the child some day.
This is my biggest issue with Brandi. She tries to play the I’m a poor single mom that is suffering and I’m like you’re making SIX figures. Yes you don’t LeAnne money but you’re not poor or struggling.
And if she is stressed about money stop with the fillers!
If fillers were the only thing she had to worry about, She would have no problem. Some of you women trash talk her when she IS supporting her kids. Eddie is not. He is living a life of leisure and vacations more then he works. When wa s the last time he had a steady work. If Brandi had a sugar daddy to support her like Eddie she would have no problems. either. You maximize Brandi faults but minimize Eddie. If he had to support his kids like Brandi he would need a job. Talking about how she spends her money, she works and earns her Eddie does not. I don’t knock a mother that works and defend a father that pimps off off another woman for support.

IMO too much is made of Eddie not working! Of course it would be an issue if his children were living in a crime and rat-infested tenement with no health insurance, but they live in nice homes in safe neighborhoods with good schools. Why on earth does it matter if Eddie Cibrian, after being the only one supporting Brandi and their children for over thirteen years, decides to kick back and let someone else be the breadwinner?

I used to be on Brandi’s side but I can’t with her anymore. She is a liar. I watch RHOBH and she will throw anyone under the bus and play the poor me card. Her whole act is tell a big lie and then play the victim.
I still don’t care about Eddie and Leanne at all but I think this is a non-issue. Or it would been if Brandi hadn’t told a a huge lie about Eddie wanting her to pay child support to him. She needs to move on.
RHOBH is all about the edit…..And was it really a HUGE lie? He is taking her to court. He does want her to pay him. It is about child support. That being said, I don’t think she’s helping her case but I do believe she is extremely frustrated by the constant spewing of lies and attacks she is getting and occasionally she overflows publicly. It’s not helping her cause and she does lack perspective, but I’ve dealt consistently my whole life with someone like Leann and I understand how much you need validation that you aren’t the crazy one.
I’ve also heard she’s had to deal with a lot of bullshit such as people in Leann’s camp calling child services with no foundation for it, and things of that nature. If I had that level of passive aggressiveness thrown at me all the time, I’d probably crack too.
But that’s the thing she still lied. Even if it wasn’t the biggest lie she ever told she didn’t state the facts correctly. And about the editing of the show…you can’t make her say things she didn’t say. Or do things she didn’t do. Again and again she has lied and then played the victim on the show and in the press. She’s doing what she has to do, where she’s given an opportunity through reality drama, capitalizing over her public humiliation by her cheating ex husband and his sociopath new wife etc to earn money in order to financially support her kids. It’s not like her ex husband is a steadily working actor or can be depended upon to provide for his kids long term and if his current marriage fails you bet Brandi will be paying him child support.

but lots of women support their kids without being on television. lots of women don’t have the dad’s help, but they make it with a normal job. i’m sorry she got cheated on, but that doesn’t mean you use it to make a living. personallly, i’d rather work a normal job to support my kids, versus airing my whole life on a show for millions to see. yes, i know, he cheated and brought it to public attention first, but she should have just let the publicity die down. I agree with Lara 1000%. Brandi is doing whatever she can to try and provide a similar lifestyle for her children AND herself through the means she has available. Let’s not forget that when this all began many years ago Leann, Eddie and her few devoted mentally challenged fans that think they are Leann’s bffs started a bash Brandi campaign when she was carrying a fresh wound. It still carries on today on a daily basis. All of this could have been avoided simply if Eddie would have remained gainfully employed and left Brandi and children with their home (or a home at all) and child support. Instead he has traveled the world and lived lavishly on Leann’s dime and appears to work as little as possible which means he pays minimal child support based on his income. Not Leann’s. Doing all of this while Leann and her twitter pals obsessed about trashing Brandi. It’s simply this. She has done the best she can with what she has to work with. Can we say the same about Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian as they travel from beach to beach and back to their mansion?
money isn’t everything. she’s on television because she wants to be. and she’s a former model who married an actor. he’s been in a lot of shows. do you really think brandi married him for love? she had threesomes with him, she knew he wasn’t devoted to her, but she didn’t care as long as the money and fame rolled in. now that she doesn’t have access to the money and attention she once did, she has to play the victim to get it back. but now a lot of people are seeing her true colors. she could make a decent living and raise her kids without acting like a spring breaker. but she likes the fame and money so she uses what she can to stay in that lifestyle and celebrity status.
I think Eddie and leann are hurting for cash and are chasing money where they can.leann has no deal and they are paying for their reality show production. The whole statute of limitations is interesting and It would be funny to see Eddie’s claim thrown out
I’m thinking the same thing you are. I wonder if they have to put up more collateral for their show or something. Ediot must be digging deep if he’s already looking to cash out his retirement acct. I’m actually surprised he even has one, if in fact there is still money in it.
I do hope its thrown out for her sake. I would love to see the break down of how EC came up with this figure. Keep in mind that is Ediot’s figure he’s throwing out there. It has not been verified by BG’s people or 3rd party accountants so he can basically come up with any dollar amount to file.
Aside from all that, I dont think BG’s face looks too bad here, its been worse, maybe her fillers are settling or something. I usually try not to knock of people’s bodies but her legs are just horrid and painful to look at. They actually make me grateful for my own legs and Im a few yrs older than her. No way would I wear anything that short if my legs looked like hers. Her lower extremities from her legs to her feet and by far her worst features, even after all the PS on her face.

I don’t think that Eddie and Leann are looking for immediate money. What they are asking is to have Brandi pay them back by taking a lesser share of Eddie’s pension. A pension isn’t immediate funds, you don’t get it until you retire. For instance, the SAG actors pension doesn’t start paying until you are 65, or at 55 if you take a reduced payout.
If they were hurting for money they’d be asking Brandi for a check, not for her to take a lesser share of his pension. They’d also be filing to have his child support eliminated based on her increased income. Neither of which they have done.

I remember the sheer amount of shade thrown at Denise Richards when she first separated from Charlie Sheen and the venom she endured from Charlie and Brooke going at her in public and blogs running her down. After a time, people discovered what she had dealt with. I think a lot of this is the same with Brandi. As recently as the summer, Eddie was playing mind games, taking her side against Leann, selling stories to the tabloids about how they were friends again (omg! had messages from him), selling divorce stories…. and then he turned around and slammed the knife in again as hard as he could.Leann is manipulative, but Eddie is the ultimate sociopathic puppet master. he isn’t quiet out of dignity, he is quiet because he likes working behind the scenes. Brandi isn’t perfect, but anyone who keeps standing up in the face of the bullying and manipulation her ex and his wife keep doing is a strong woman. She did some dumb things, drinking wise, but no one will let her keep it in the past. It’s been a long time since she’s been seen drinking heavily. Sad to see the turn around, even when Celebitchy used to write about the crap her ex pulled re child support and money.

I’m not a huge Brandi fan, but I feel like I need to defend her on one point. Most reality stars are walking billboards. If she has an expensive handbag, it was most likely given to her by the brand. She is not high up enough on the celebrity food chain to get a contract with a major label, but they will give her a free purse knowing she lives to get papped. That is pretty cheap advertising for them.
The same goes for the bars…. If they are not actually paying her to come there, she is most likely drinking for free. In Hollywood, it’s actually good business to have the “disaster of the moment” get wasted and papped at your place. Most people don’t differentiate between Brandi and other celebrities, and so they think “Hey, famous people eat/drink there!”
She is given tons of free clothes, and if you see a celebrity getting papped with shopping bags, they were given those things to get papped. Denise Richards does it all of the time. Some celebrities don’t want to deal with stuff like that to get clothes, and consider it low brow. Brandi does not. I wouldn’t be surprised if her clothing and accessory budget was actually zero. (Also, Bravo hides that they spend a lot on the ladies clothes. They want us to think they are already rich- which many are, but they get clothing budgets and sometimes they are provided clothing. You might notice a scene where everyone is wearing similar styles of jewelry, or even they are all wearing furs. I remember an episode of the OC where they all had on similar furs. Someone provided them to get publicity.)
What is a poorhouse to these folks? Is it living outside their current zip code? Is it giving up personal assistants? Maybe not driving a luxury vehicle? Or, perhaps it means having to work an actual 40-hour work week all year long (—shudders—).

Brandi is trash, and I have no use for her anymore, but Eddie doesn’t deserve a dime back at this date. Go work harder, which you would be doing if you didn’t have your wife supporting you, loser. Judges don’t look kindly on men who haven’t worked to their full potential for years. And when you have a rich wife, it’s easy to do as a low-rated actor, not push because he doesn’t have to. But a judge doesn’t fall for that. It seems late to try to modify alimony from that far back as far as reimbursement. If he even gets some of this modified and reimbursement, it won’t be close to that I bet. At least it comes out of the retirement fund being divvyed up. But I hope he doesn’t get a dime. Start hustling for a living, you loser.
I still can’t stand Brandi, though. After this year, there’s not much about her that is worth commenting on. A shallow, empty, trashy woman, with zero introspection or self-reflection at 41 and five years post-breakup. I have sympathy for her having LeAnn as a stepmother to her children, but that doesn’t mean I like Brandi as a person.

Hair dye would be good. It made a difference when he took the time to darken his greying locks. But, yeah, enhancement is my first thought. Maybe a combo ad for the hair loss medication AND male enhancement (LOL).
That first photo is about the worst I’ve seen her (face) look. I realize she was caught in a mid-word ‘derp’ moment, but she abruptly looks middle-aged there. Normally, I think she mostly pulls off the young-woman styling she goes for.
I doubt the money was Eddie’s in the first place. I’d think more likely it came from MeAnne.
