Here are some new photos of Bruce Jenner, out and about yesterday in Calabasas. He was running some errands, picking up some cigarettes and then he did some filming for KUWTK with Khloe, Kourtney and Mason. I’ve been staring at these photos for too long, so let me just do some bullet points.
*The cigarettes are definitely Marlboro, and I really think he bought MENTHOLS. Ugh. Menthols will really mess with your throat like no other. And it seems like a particularly bad idea to smoke cigarettes right after he’s just had surgery on his Adam’s apple.
*I can’t really see a difference with his Adam’s apple, although we know for sure that he did have the “laryngeal shave” back in late January, and he was walking around town with a bandage on his throat.
*It’s believed that Bruce also got some additional nips and tucks to his face this year. Maybe some eye work, another nose job, who knows? But I can say with certainty that he got plugs too. Look at that hair! And he’s still doing the ombre thing too. And I think he’s got highlights.
*In some previous photos, it definitely looked like Bruce had a French manicure, but I’ve been studying his hands in these pics, and I don’t think he has a French manicure now. Granted, his fingernails are pretty long and I suspect there’s some polish, but no Real Housewife mani.
*We still have no idea if Bruce is going to undergo gender reassignment. My hope is that if he does make that decision, he’ll discuss it openly. That being said, it’s his business and my feeling is that Bruce is on a path, post-Lucifer’s Homegirl, of self-discovery and he hasn’t figured out yet if he wants to change.

If Bruce is trans, I can’t imagine going through something like that in such a public way. I feel bad that so many people (not celebitchy) are being so blatantly rude and disrespectful about the whole situation. It’s such a hard decision to make and I can’t imagine how hard it is to come to terms with yourself and then tell your family –let alone doing it in the public eye. I really wish him the best.

If he doesn’t want to discuss it I hope no site covers it. Gender reassignment is hard enough without the world chiming in on a personal decision.

Like Kaiser, I also feel that Bruce is on a path of self-discovery and I wish him the best. And I understand (from personal experience) that sometimes self-discovery can lead to the occasional bad hairstyle or haircut. Namaste, my child, continue on your journey 🙂
Nicely said Meredith! On a darker note I get the sense that this site is pushing the whole transgender issue too far to the point where it’s become more about something that has nothing to do with any signals Bruce Jenner is giving.

I realized he signed up for it when he married Lucifer’s Homegirl, but I kind of hate that we’re watching it play out now. Whatever he’s doing to himself is starting to feel like it should be done in private. I dunno, I feel a bit odd about it, almost like he’s being forced into putting a name on what he’s doing, and it’s no one else’s business.
And now i must get out my ice skates because if I’m feeling sorry for a Kardashian/Jenner then hell must have certainly frozen over.

It’s Bruce, the only likeable one so it’s ok. I had watched a few episodes of their show a few years ago and he just seemed so level headed. He seemed as if he really didn’t care for being on the show but got bullied into doing it by (as you so accuarately described her) Lucifer’s Homegirl.
I wish him all the best, whatever he does.
It’s interesting how he is just doing his own thing and keeping his mouth shut. People can wonder all they want – he clearly feels it’s none of their business. I am really perplexed by him but also wish him well. It can’t be easy with THAT FAMILY.
I am pretty sure this whole Bruce has Gender Dysmorphia thing is just the Producers prepping for a major storyline. And I think the presence of that Adams Apple confirms it. Bruce is trolling y’all! And before someone suggests that he is incapable of such calculation, remind yourselves who he voluntarily married and stayed married to for close to 2 decades. Birds of a feather flock together.

I really root for the man. Whether it’s a case of being trans, or severe body dysmorphia, I feel for him. It’s an incredibly hard thing to go through in private, let alone in front of the world.
I’m most upset that he’s a smoker which is kind of surprising since he grew up as an athlete. Ditch the cancer-sticks Bruce! Smoking makes people old and wrinkly before their time.
Whatever he is going through, his journey will be better without PMK in the mix. That woman is poison, and he’s better off without her.

Yeah, I don’t see the trans angle here and I feel uncomfortable that people are so readily assuming that conclusion. The trans story came from PMK and her evil machinations are not to be trusted. Interestingly, I read that Kris was the first one to push Bruce to go under the nice for a facelift. He’s been trying to fix the results of that botched surgery ever since.
A lot of men get manicures, hairplugs, and plastic surgery. It doesn’t make them trans. This hairstyle that Bruce is rockin’ isn’t very flattering, but its a throwback to how his hair looked when he was an Olympian.

I agree with you. I think it is so effed up to write an article assuming he is. That’s a serious thing to make accusations about! I don’t think he is going through “gender reassignment”. I think he’s just trying to look better since he’s getting divorced. He seems like a really nice guy and I hate that people make all these assumptions about him. also feel bad that people talk about how bad he looks. I mean, I know I would feel like s*it if people thought I was trying to look like a man. and all the cracks about all his “bad plastic surgery.” no wonder he’s getting stuff done! he’s had people saying he looks bad for years and now that he’s trying to look better, he’s trying to be a woman?! poor guy can’t win for losing…..
I usually avoid these posts because I feel uncomfortable commenting on something so personal. Anyway, I cant help but feel empathetic towards the guy, if he IS going through a transition, then it’s got to be awful with everyone commenting on his appearance and paps all over him…ugh.
I’m sure it gets to him but I do believe Bruce can handle it. Everytime I see the clip of him on TMZ, I am reassured he has thicker skin than a lot of people think he does.

Exactly my thought. The styling needs help, whatever the reason for all the surgery is.
I don’t think he’s undergoing gender reassignment but I do think he’s trying to look ‘ageless’ or recapture his youth. Most likely a midlife crisis – some people buy cars, he buys younger features. Whatever it is, good for him. I always liked Bruce and never understood what he was doing in such a fame hungry family. The only slightly normal one (aside from Bruce) who doesn’t want to be in the spotlight is Kendall.

He lives in a house in Malibu. If he’s trying to regain his youth, he should stop smoking (if in fact he does) as it will age him…kind of counterproductive.

I don’t care if he married LHG and all the exposure that comes with it, and I’m not going to make assumptions about what he’s doing. If he is in fact transitioning that is none of our business.
This seems to have been put on the back-burner for now — for awhile it looked like he was on the fast track.
It takes an extremely brave person to transition, especially if they are doing it in public. I support him if he does transition.

None of his procedures point to gender reassignment in any meaningful way. One rag mentions it, and suddenly everyone is so “sensitive”. He doesn’t need anyone supporting his personal decisions, he needs to be left alone to live his life.

I do not understand why people who happily rip his teenage daughters to shreds give him a pass on everything and talk about how he’s bearable, oh the poor baby for choosing to marry and stay married to a woman people happen to dislike. Very true. Also, he willingly signed up to do their reality show and he cashes his checks the same way the rest of the Klan do. He allows the E cameras to follow him around and shows us his “personal life”. Why should anyone feel sorry for him? He doesn’t seem like a bad guy, but I don’t think any of the Klan is “bad”, they are just fame/money hungry and have no self-respect.

regardless in what his intended outcome may be, i don’t think we should harp on the paparazzi for following this guy’s “transformation.” bruce has put his face out in the public eye for quite some time. he’s currently on a reality show with his family (which is in it’s what, 10th season?)–and prior to this, he and his sons had one of their own as well. if you don’t like the heat …
He was on a reality competition long before we knew who the Kardashians were. It was a show called “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!”. No lie, that was the name of the show. They did a re-boot of it a few years ago with d-listers as well.
