Here are some photos of Angelina Jolie looking angelic in Las Vegas. Who – besides Angelina – is capable of looking this angelic in the city of sin? Also: this is the most sack-dressy trouser suit I’ve ever seen on anyone younger than 70. Seriously, this looks like a costume from the Golden Girls (which makes me love her even more).
Angelina was in Vegas to do some early pushing for Unbroken – she gave a speech at CinemaCon for “The State of the Industry: Past, Present and Future and Universal Studios Presentation.” I don’t know if she screened any footage from the film or not, but… it’s still very early. Unbroken won’t be released until December. There’s plenty of time, and I doubt Angelina is even halfway through editing the film anyway.
Angelina did talk about her boyfriend Louis Zamperini during the speech, and how his story inspired her: “I wanted to make this film because in the end its message is one that we all need now more than ever. It’s the journey of man finding his way through the darkness and into the light.” Lord… is there anyone better at the Art of the Hustle? Angelina makes it seem so effortless. She doesn’t have any angst about promoting her work – she only works on projects she believes in, and when she’s on the promotional trail, there is no one better.

She’s so thin. I know everyone says it’s because of her health issues, but I don’t know…the surgery is a while ago. This just seems like she doesn’t eat enough.

Eh, for me–she’s always been really thin. The only difference between her now, and her in 2005 era, is probably 10-15 pounds (which softened her body), and her face thinned as she got older. She was always very odd shaped and bobble headed to me–because she had a full face (apple cheeks, etc), and a very long, thin body, no waist, and big boobs (for her frame)…so I honestly don’t see too much of a difference. Her body seems to be at extremes because she doesn’t have that extra ten pounds that softened up her veins, sharp angles, etc. But I think, overall, she looks fine. Could she stand to gain weight? Yes. I think that as she gets older, she’ll gain weight (in her stomach, when she was pregnant, she gained weight in her stomach and her lips doubled in size–they were HUGE), like her mom. Her mom was a twig, and then she hit middle age and started gaining weight (and looked YOUNG–I would’ve thought she was in her late thirties, not mid fifties).
I agree with you about the loss of maybe 10 pounds or so. She has always been a slim person but at one time she had muscle tone. A 10 pound weight loss on an already thin person would defintely be more noticeable than if it was a fuller size person who lost the weight. I also agree that she has a boxy waist.
Her face used to be more fuller back in the mid to late 90’s. I found her cute with the fuller face but after it started to change she really grew into her looks. AJ got on a lot of people’s radar after Gia. As her looks started to change and she started with Tomb Raider that’s when Hollywood took notice and started calling her one of the most beautiful women. I agreed with that.
I think she looks painfully thin quite often, but photos of her from the late 90’s show a similar weight. She’s just got those bird arms and legs…more bone than fat. But it’s not like she’s like dying of starvation or something, her midsection has never looked concave or unhealthy, in my opinion.
She’s actually has a little gut, from after her kids.

I’m glad someone else sees it, KB. To me she actually looks like she’s gained around the waist area since her younger days, and is around the same weight in general…it’s mostly just her face that’s thinned a lot, but I guess that’s just how she’s aged *shrugs*. She has all the hallmarks of simply being a naturally thin person, you can see even in pics of her as a teen she’s always had “bird arms and legs”. I think the concern trolling re Angie’s weight is way out of proportion.

Sexy bombshell types like Angelina are rarely known for their clothes – which is not the same as saying that they don’t look lovely & glamorous, just that they’re usually not known for a distinctly stylish & unique mode of dress (for example, someone like Sofía Vergara always looks gorgeous & va-va-voom on the red carpet, but she’s not particularly fashion forward)
When you consider Old Hollywood sex symbols (Liz Taylor, Sophia Loren, Ava Gardner, etc.) – they’re remembered as great beauties with tons of sex appeal but they’re generally not seen as fashion icons.

Yeah, she’s got an incredibly beautiful face, but in these pictures she looks like she could be the parent of college-aged kids. But she has always seemed older than her age. She adopted Maddox at what? 26? Had six kids by 33…insane. I think she’ll be one of those women who ages in reverse. She looks like she’s in her forties now, but she’ll also look like that in her sixties.

She has a beautiful facet and elegant frame. (it is only now and again she will WOW with her sexiness just to remind us that she is still a badass, haha!!) And I am so glad she doesn’t wear snug or clingy clothes all the time. She is the type of woman that will always EMBRACE and celebrate her age–not ever worry about how clothing will “age” her.
Jolie just is not that vain, vapid, superficial girl. Her clothing choices consistently reminds us that her style is of elegance and comfort. She clearly is mature for her age. Just take a look at her early accomplishments,.. adopting at age 26, becoming a UNHCR ambassador at age 26, humanitarian and activist since her early twenties. (When I was 26 I was thinking about happy hours and what club I wanted to hang out with my girlfriends.)
How many female directors do you know would wear strapless, tight mini skirts at an event entitled: “The State of The Industry…?”
She is dressed appropriately given the occasion.
You know, I’m convinced that the way women treat each other depends on our level of threat and envy. People like aniston, many women see as similar to themselves (see average and plain – she gets extra coddling points from women since she was perceived as being dumped for a beautiful woman) – thus she represents 0 threat. An accomplished stunningly beautiful woman with a much coveted man who adores her however, will forever be under attack..especially if there’s a phony imagined rivalry between her and the plain average dumped woman that so many women see themselves in.
That’s why you’ve had women wishing death, plane crashes, birth defects on Brangelina for 10 years. Some women are toxic and sick, some aren’t as bad as that, but they’re still vengeful and like to deconstruct and criticize Angelina to try and demystify or denigrate her (see never ending weight and age commentary).
Many people were also saying the same about charlize theron. Saying cigarettes and son and drink had caught up to her face on that last beach shoot. Reese Witherspoon also has deep lines around her mouth and looks her age. Both of these women look older than Angelina despite being the same age – and in my opinion they won’t age well because they don’t have the strong bone structure. But these women didn’t get Brad Pitt and aren’t in the enviable position of being with him and being so stunning so they aren’t a thread and won’t get the grief and constant harangueing.

She may have help in her day to day life, but Angelina’s body is the one flying out to these war torn countries visiting refugees, flying to other countries to sit at summits and meeting, flying to other countries to direct and film her movies while having six children that no matter how much help she has will always want their mum’s time and attention as you can see how well they are with her when their are papped.
If she was unhealthy she wouldn’t have been flying out with Hague to visit refugees, not long after her mastectomy, she wouldn’t be able to carry the twins around. She’s skinny and healthy accept it and move on.

Not by any stretch of the imagination, for a woman of her height, is this not too thin. She is skin and bones. Beautiful skin and bones, but skin and bones, nonetheless.

Her arms look a little thinner but you are right! Not much difference at all in those pictures, good comparisons. My sister is 29, 5’7 and weighs 110. She seriously eats like a cow and doesn’t gain weight. The woman on my moms side are just skinny so I think its genetics for Angelina too.

I think she’s just really busy and forgets to eat as much as she probably should. Her schedule is probably insane to the point where she has to make a conscious effort to find time to sit down for a meal.
I do think it sucks that we’re always dissecting her weight, but I think it mainly comes from a place of concern for most of us.
Anyway, she obviously maintains enough energy to take care of her family and keep her engagements so it can’t be all that bad.

Lol Angelina has always had full breasts and a thicker waist, so by showing a picture that is essentially her TORSO only (breasts and waist and then cutting her long slender as always limbs out of the pic), the false inference is that she had a drastically different body type – she doesn’t. Her limbs are long and slender and her torso is short and high waisted. Not saying she was as slender at 20, or whatever she was there, but she was certainly within 5-7lbs. My guess is her diet is significantly healthier than the hollywood teen she was also.
The need to dissect and disassemble an admirable accomplished woman who is the best example of being more than the some of her parts in Hollywood, I find disgusting and misogynistic. As always it’s some women who are our own worst enemies.

Well gosh, clearly I am not in YOUR country, V4Real, I am in mine, and in MY country, “pee on my feet” has been around for generations, as well as in America proved by Judge Judy’s father who (in the book) she tells us her father passed the saying onto her, most likely like before your back modern alternate version has. The point is, you thought you were being smart by ‘correcting’ me, only it turns out yours was a modern version of a generations old saying. Pride comes before a fall. Perhaps you simply hadn’t heard the original.

the term “don’t piss down my back” dates back to early 1800s (at least) and appeared in the “Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue” in 1811 as a colloquialism meaning “don’t flatter me”.
it’s not “modern” and definitely predates both Judge Judy (age 71) and her father (who would likely be around 100 if he were alive).
I’ve seen “don’t piss on my shoe/boots/leg”, “don’t piss in my pocket”, “don’t piss in my ear”…but none seem to have made an appearance in common language before “don’t piss down my back”. if anyone can find an earlier reference of this phrase, please share.

It originated from South Carolina and was used in the movie “The OutLaw Josey Wells” It was also used in a film with Dennis Hooper, I think it was “the Knock Around Guys”

What a passive aggressive comment. I hardly ever post in the JA threads, because I hardly ever have anything positive to say, so I refrain.

YEs, there are some extreme commenters or comments that are more passionately defending someone in these threads, but some of you should acknowledge that i is tiring to see the same commenters (or a new suspicious name) saying the same tired things (about AJ, in particular) over and over and over again.
And when someone calls them out, others attack them because it is their right to say what they want.
Really it is pathetic. I have fun being sarcastic at some people who are making me laugh sometimes (THE KK+K threads, for example), but it is pathetic to always post the same things about the same people, trying to get reactions, it is bordering on trolling.

I did a thyroidectomy last year and I needed 6 months to fully recover.
Considering what she went through last year I would say she looks incredible healthy.
Oh, hats off Richard, that’s a tough one. My 26 year old friend went through the same thing and it’s taken her about a year to recover (tho she had complications). Good luck to you and your continued recovery.

Not always. Tracey Gold suffered from an eating disorder for years (anorexia). It took even her family and people on the set of Growing pains to realize that her rapid weight loss was due to an eating disorder. Her hair, teeth and skin looked normal.

I could be wrong but I think Meme’s dislike of Angie is coming from the same place as some where feeling about Lupita. Sometimes you just grow weary of a celebrity being praised and thrown in your face all the time as if they’re the second coming of Christ. Some people grew tired of Lupita real fast and didn’t get the hype about her, while others saw her as this exotic ethereal Goddess with so much talent. Meanwhile they had only seen her in one film and for like a New York minute in a second one.

When she was in her “rebel” stage constantly talking about her silly antics (hiring a hitman to kill her) I thought she was a poser looking for attention. While it is admirable to care about refugees, her actions/voice has not changed their condition at all and she is not the only celebrity who make humanitarian efforts. Meme, plenty of people from those war-stricken areas have come on here who have worked with her there or know a relative who has, and they all, without exception, say she helps very much. Of course she is not the only celebrity to make humanitarian efforts, but she is the only one who is lauded by the UN, is a Special Envoy, and is a member of CFR. In MY opinion, I think she is too thin as well, to the point of looking frail and unhealthy. I saw some clip on tv a week or two ago when she and Brad Pitt were promoting “Mr. And Mrs. Smith” and she looked more beautiful, healthier, softer and sexier. I know that she’s got tons more work and stress than she did back then, which are factors.
It’s just natural to worry and be concerned about someone that appears gaunt and exhausted, and when someone says that, it’s out of concern and definitely is not meant in a mean-spirited way.

Um how exactly do you know this. can you quantify this. Furthermore are you then saying that we should just do nothing about humanitarian problems. As well as working with refugees, she is involved in other humanitarian schemes such as building schools in Afghanistan so girls in that country could get an education, KIND and the Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation, all of which have had a clear positive effect on the lives of the people who have access these resources.

There are hundreds of thousands of people that ADMIRE and RESPECT her work as an activist and humanitarian. People love to see her on film because of her talent AND beauty. She is a very accomplished woman and so there is quite a lot to admire.
I also like the true love story of Brad and Angelina. It is a legendary love tale. As a fan, I like how much they are so into to each other. Furthermore, I love their joint perspective of goodwill and MORE importantly, they see the world from a global perspective. They are a very generous and giving couple. They make a conscious effort to reach out people of all races, ethnicities, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. This is also what makes them so globally loved by so many. This is a couple that is equally-yoked.
If they were only about “just us” or “just the U.S.”, I believe their fanbase would be a lot smaller.
How DARE you, SAL! I am having a biopsy on my right breast next Tuesday and in 2010 I had a tumor on my right ovary that was 5 INCHES wide and 4INCHES high and it burst. Almost killed me.emergency life saving hysterectomy. All my organs had to be removed and washed to get all the burst tumor crap off them. Had peritonitis. THREE blood transfusions. Many rounds of chemo at GEISINGER HOSPITAL in Danville PA, dr. Gogoi if you don’t freaking believe me! Was just there for my 3 month checkup, pelvic exam and CA-125 blood test last Thursday. Breast biopsy next Tuesday at Robert Packer/Guthrie clinic in Sayre, PA. The only reason I have disliked Jolie less on recent months is because after finding out she has the same gene as me, that her mother died of ovarian cancer, and had a preventative mastectomy because of breast and ov ca being linked, I kind of felt I had this in common with her and since then i have let go of my hatred of her because we have it in common and with my new breast problem I debate whether to have mine removed as a precaution as well. How DARE you accuse me of lying about my cancer!?!? Now you are even lower than just an internet bully—you are plain EVIL!
And btw I am still no big fan but I have to wonder if that’s why she’s so thin. Sal you want the phone numbers of the hospitals so you can call and verify for yourself that I would NVER lie about having cancer??? And that it’s genetically linked with ancestors and relatives on my mothers side? JERK

The whole thing is so ridiculous…I said Jolie is very thin and doesn’t look all that healthy and this jerk has been ferociously attacking me all day, and accusing me of lying about having cancer! Then has the nerve to call ME a troll. God! I click on a gossip website and make an innocent comment and my entire character is assassinated by someone I don’t even know and when I told him I have cancer caused by the same genetic mutation that Angelina Jolie has and which killed her mother, I thought he’d back the f*** off and leave me alone and instead his nastiness was FUELED by it…there are so many nasty people out there, and yet I am holed up in here alone, going through more horribleness than any one person should ever have to, and someone nasty STILL got to me. Call the clinics Sal and see if I’m lying. Guthrie in Sayre PA next Tuesday at 9 am and I was at Geisinger last Thursday with a 3 pm appointment. I still don’t like Jolie but whenever you hear of something like that in common you pay attention. Give me your email address sand I will send you pictures of me and my bald head from 2011 and then later pictures of it growing back like frigging Velcro. Still have a lot of the Rx’s from things like neurontin for the horrible foot pain from chemo, the worst side effect, as well as it was hard to find any anti nausea mess that worked until they put me on steroids which made me look like a fat linebacker, Percocet for the terrible bone pain cos chemo gets in your marrow, one excruciating collapsed vein, trip to the ER for non stop vomiting, one fingernail turned black and got a hole but luckily it didn’t fall off, sore mouth and tongue, weakness and tiredness I still have to this day, hair falls out EVERYWHERE including your nose and ears, which caused hearing damage to me, the hair hurts while it’s falling, like a too tight ponytail, and lying your head down feels like 1,000,000 needles piercing your scalp, so even with the hair loss there’s painful stubble that hurts, chemo brain where you’re in a fog and remember nothing, ruined my thyroid, now have to take meds every day, can only take certain hormone replacements because of past cancer, so that sucks as well as hot flashes, I just have to live with them, will never have kids, was only 39, my doctor said it was miraculous that I survived a 5″ x 4″ cancerous ovarian tumor bursting, 20 yrs ago and I would have died. Intensive care for 3 days, 3 blood transfusions, peritonitis, also forgot I had a nasogastric tube for 4 days to drain all the yuck, so I couldn’t eat or drink and it made my throat hurt really bad…and this was all at Christmastime.
So don’t you DARE call me a liar, a troll or anything else! You can call me anything else, which would still hurt, but don’t you DARE accuse me of lying about having cancer-you should be ashamed of yourself. You still don’t believe me, I’ll email you every document and photo and every doctor and clinic I went to- otherwise shut your evil, ignorant pith and leave me alone. I’ve wasted enough of my afternoon crying and being angry because some nasty guy I don’t even know personally attacked me because I find Angelina Jolie to be thin and frail looking…and if she IS thon because of some illness you don’t know about yet, then you’re really going to look like a fool.

Eva I’m not being a drama queen-I’m genuinely hurt and angry to be attacked all day because I said Jolie is thin and not well-looking. Then accused of lying about having cancer and called a troll because of it.

I was disappointed by the trailer. In the original film, she sentences her to death on her 16th birthday. The fairies with their last wish change that from death to being in a sleep like state. Here maleficent sentences her to sleep. A little less severe.

I get the feeling that whenever they take little side trips–like Angelina going to Vegas for this speech–that they rotate which kid(s) gets some special time alone with a parent, to go somewhere fun. It’s the same thing as my dad taking out each one of us to dinner, every two weeks when he gets paid–but on a grander scale.
Generally they’re all together for filming, because Brad and Angelina don’t work at the same time (exception with her directing job), and when she filmed Unbroken, they met up every once in a while and switched off the kids–if I’m not mistaken.

I’m sorry, I know I’ll get flamed for this, but she’s way too thin and she knows it, which is why she keeps wearing outfits that cover her limbs. She’s never been shy before about wearing strapless dresses or sky high slits. And you can’t tell me it’s because she’s all of the sudden consciously being more womanly or matronly. She’s just hiding the skinny.
Sometimes people have body issues–she’s said before that being told that she’s thin isn’t a compliment, and maybe she’s become more conscious of it as she’s gotten older. We all have insecurities. Just because she is beautiful, doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have things that she doesn’t like about herself, physically. Also, maybe she feels that at 38, almost 39 that that style of clothing on the rc isn’t appropriate. It’s one thing to show off your girls at a party or bar, when you are a private citizen i.e. your kids won’t see, and another thing to show them off when a million photographers are going to be taking your picture–and you’re older and have kids.
That being said–beyond red carpets, she’s never been the type to wear little, tight clothes…I remember seeing pics of her in the Billy Bob era, where she wore grey tshirts and sweat pants.

Reading some of the tweets regarding Angie at CinemaCon, the clip of Unbroken that they showed got some pretty amazing comments from some of the reviewers. There were also some who have predicted that both Angie and the film will be Oscar nominated.

I think that when you are a person like Angelina Jolie and have all that fame and stunning facial beauty people expect you to fit a certain pattern. i doubt people would expect Jolie to have a serious health genetic problem but she has. Jolie has the same body shape that I see on two white female friends I have, they are big boned tall and cannot gain weight, veins stick out in their sixties no I don’t know why they cannot gain weight or they are predisposed to that body shape because of their race..

The main security guy who has been with Brad forever and forever, Richey, who is directing traffic around them as he always does is telling the roach paps to back off and keep their distance and in general the paps do as he tells them. The paps are allowed to cluster closely around people at LAX unlike at any other airport. Why this is allowed I do not understand. Richey can be heard doing the same thing in videos when the family arrived back from OZ in early February.
Anyway seems Angelina Mad and Zee are flying out of LA some sites say to London. She may be on her way to a conference in Europe as part of the official British delegation. If this is true Angelina did her career work in Las Vegas to support Unbroken then flew back the short distance to LA and now is going to perform her other work as a humanitarian.

Brad said years ago that they know they give up some privacy for the life they lead and the trade off is worth it. He said that he doesn’t mind that they take pics of the kids but that they should just stay back and get long angle lenses and not get all up in their faces, scaring them. This is the life they are lucky enough to lead and they take what comes with it. They are teaching their kids to do the same thing. Appreciate the lifestyle and give some on the picture taking. Brangie is known to make deals with paps that they are allowed to take photos of them just as long they don’t yell, come close, push and make a ruckus out of it. If you noticed, paps are always kind to them instead of being aggressive. They know they can never get rid of paps so I guess dealing with them nicely is a win on both sides.
I can’t decided if I like that outfit or not. I agree that she was weird body type – her upper legs are average size but her lower leg are stick thin. Just like her upper arms are both normal size and her lower arms are scary thin. But her face is beautiful. And it looks like the meals she’s eating goes to her face which looks fuller btw instead of going to her limbs. She looks very happy so I don’t see any problem.
I wouldn’t be surprised. They’ve both said that their privacy is already gone, so they use it to bring attention to other things that are important to them. I’m not or have I ever said that Angie stage pap shots, I just don’t buy that. With that being said just because a celeb say they don’t like the pap or stage pap shots does that make it true. Do we believe everything that a celebrity says.

I think that some people post across some different sites (I do post a little in other sites, but I mostly lurk here). There are some people who are really good at writing mean posts. At some anti-AJ sites, they claim not to be fans of AJ, but they really go out all the way to demean the whole JP family and their work. They do not stay just there, they do copy and post and write in many other sites.
I like the intelligent comments here, and I can tolerate different opinions, but I dislike how some people word their comments that border on offensive (for both sides).

Yeah—I haven’t been on this thread in hours, and I’m a little shocked how it regressed so quickly. I didn’t know people were so touchy……and geez, enough with the personal attacks. I’m sure everyone on this thread knows that I dislike Jennifer Aniston……everyone knows it. But you don’t see me going after everyone on this thread, who I know likes her, who post critical/negative comments about Angelina, just like they don’t go on my posts about JA and comment negatively about ME. What is wrong with people?
Virgilia — right? Holy crap, this thread is batsh-t insane. I come to Celebitchy because it has some of the best comments on the internet, but this thread is a g-ddamn circus. Why is it so hard for adults to understand that people can have opinions on Celebrity A that have nothing to do with Celebrity B? Who the frackity fick are these people who are so incredibly invested in not just supporting Celebrity A, but personally attacking Celebrity B *and* every human being who can’t prove they have a tattoo that says they hate Celebrity B? Like two-thirds of these commenters need to go to for a nice long walk off the internet and think about their life choices. Jesus Christ.

@VC One thing that is noticeable at other sites at, like JJ, at the JP posts( I used to lurk there), when either AJolie or Brad have something to promote and start doing appearances, the anti-jolies come out of the woodwork and start trouble at their threads.

It is a given. the craziness goes up during award season if they are nominated, and I am guessing since both of them have lots lo promote and be proud of this year, the haterade will continue. I hope that the JP fans would be a bit more civil and if they are not going to ignore the hate or the snarkiness, at least be more an adult about it. Let the bitter betties choke in their words, there are ways to say things without lowering to their level. (pittstain???, twig?) .

Not true. Some Aniston fans want Angelina to catch cancer and die, hope she has passed on her cancer genes to her bio children and hope they die as well, have talked about their hopes that both Angie and her children get raped, die in plane crashes, have compared Angelina to Satan, have said that they want to stab her x100 because they hate her so much, etc, etc, etc.
I have never seen a Jolie fan speak about Aniston that way. I make fun of Aniston but I would never wish her harm the way that some of her fans have spoken about Angelina.

Yes they are sick people but this is what irrational hatred of Angie has led them to say about her.
As I’ve said, if somebody came along with a constructive or insightful critique then I would be all ears but we never get that. Instead we get the kind of comments as stated or people who don’t like her because other people admire her humanitarianism.

I’m sorry you had to deal with such ugliness on this site. You’d think that fans of this very compassionate woman would have a little compassion for you…if it’s her compassion for others and her charity work that they admire, you’d think they’d want to emulate that.
I don’t pretend to know Jolie like some folks on here do, but I’d like to think that, even if you’re not a fan of her work, she’d have compassion for a person in your situation.

My 70-yr-old grandma dresses very much like AJ. If you took AJ’s head off that those photos and pasted an old ladys head I’d totally believe it. Or if you covered up her head and asked me how old I thought that person was, based on the outfit alone I’d probably say late 50s or 60s. She dresses super mature. She’s MY age and it boggles my mind. I mean, more power to her. It’s just an observation. She looks perfectly fine and all. I think she’s overcompensating for her wild child past, though. She just swung the pendulum too far the other way.
Incidentally, I don’t think Angie is a “sex bomb” anymore AT ALL. She’s a twig. And she hides it purposely (and probably for comfort) under tons and tons of fabric. Which is fine! And while thin, she does seem healthy enough (not that that is out business). But people pick at her relentlessly based on her sex bomb status. People, she hasn’t been that for many years. She’s insanely, almost painfully beautiful, but sexy she is not. But she’s also been through a hell of a lot. Six kids (that will zap anyone’s sex appeal right there), loss of her mom, terrible health problems, family issues, etc. I doubt she’s concerned with being a sex bomb anymore. She has a face that will make angels cry from the beauty, but at this point, her body is her business. She doesn’t advertise it and she’s dealing with major health issues, so personally, I think we should let that go and stop evaluating her from the perspective of expecting her to be a sexpot. She’s done with that. She wants to be done with that, anyway.
I like your post, but I would say that she is moving in diplomatic circles as well as trying to look as a serious director, not just overcompensating for being a wild child. She did risky shoots, but many have too, not just her.
She is a complex woman, but she is trying to give the right vibe, and not remind everyone that she was a sexy action star when she is now directing a drama movie.
I understand her choice of clothes and she is probably comfy, so there’s that.

I think she looks so thin here because her clothes have so much fabric. All that extra makes it look like she doesn’t have enough meat on her frame to fill it out. If the suit was more tailored and not so flowy she wouldn’t look so thin. But putting on ten pounds would soften her features.
Angelina is as gorgeous as ever, but I don’t care for that cream outfit, at all. I like her airplane outfit much, much better. Loving the boots, black skinny jeans and that nude coloured top, chic with a bit of an edge.
Loving that new trailer too, can’t wait to see Maleficent.
