Back in 2012, Rob Kardashian was dating a barely-known singer (barely known in America) named Rita Ora. They broke up in dramatic fashion – in truth, the breakup was more notable than the relationship. Rob publicly accused Rita of cheating on him with “more than 20 dudes,” which… yeah, I always sort of believed. I think Rita is a cheater and I think her whole vibe is pretty shady. Anyway, Rob fell into a massive rut post-Rita. He put on weight, he battled depression, and that’s been the holding pattern ever since. Rob is not a good place and his family really hasn’t done much to help him out. And as it turns out, the Kardashian Klan still believes Rita is to blame. Sure. I’ll buy that too.
Kim Kardashian gave Rita Ora the cold shoulder at the VMAs last Sunday — refusing to sit near her — and sources close to the family say it’s because Kim blames her for screwing with Rob Kardashian’s head.
We’re told Kim arrived at the awards show and discovered her seat was just a couple away from Ora’s. Not wanting any drama … she asked producers to find her a different seat. We’re told she wasn’t a diva, she just didn’t want to have to be social with Rita.
Sources close to the Kardashians tell us the family still blames Ora for some of Rob’s issues … since his ugly breakup with her in 2012.
VMA producers had to scramble, but ultimately they found a seat for Kim … with Kendall and Kylie.
I’m surprised Kim didn’t make a bigger deal about it. But there’s time. I get the feeling that in another two years or so, Rita is not going to have any friends left in the celebrity or music world. She’s alienated so many people with her vadge of doom. As for Kim… well, at least she wasn’t a diva about it. MTV producers were probably hoping the seating arrangement would cause some kind of drama, but all they got was Kim politely asking for another seat and Katy Perry rubbing her boobs on poor Sam Smith. Boring!

Kris, her spawn and lack of morals had more to do with Robs downfall than Rita , but in typical Kardashian fashion they blame everyone but themselves. I wish Kim would take her seat to Antarctica , sit down and stay there and take the klan with you.
Not to mention Kim and Rita really aren’t that different.

This. Zero support structure, what self esteem he tries to cultivate is immediately destroyed, and his misery being pimped out as much as possible. Kim herself has pretty much said he’s at fault for all of his woes which is probably up there with “Things Not To Say To A Person With Depression”.
I don’t know, after the way Calvin Harris reacted to their break up, I think Ora is totally capable of seriously messing with a guys head.
I’d normally agree, but for Rob K? Not completely. I mean, he humiliated Adrian Bailon with his cheating and made it his storyline on the show. He cheats and comes from a family of cheaters. Kris Jenner is more at fault than Rita IMO.

The change in seating seems like a reasonable request. More comfortable for both of them. Doesn’t sound as though Kim was obnoxious about it.

Kim is desperately competing with Kendall – hence all the recent cosmetic surgery on her face. She’s going for the narrow face/arched full brows like Kendalls.

Isn’t it time to get over this? After two years you’re still holding a grudge? And instead of blaming people for Rob’s problems, why not help him heal. Although, didn’t Rob slam Rita all over the place when they broke up. So not buying the whole thing that she is totally responsible for his state of mind.

its easy to blame other people for your lack of control. Rita has no power over Rob… they both were in a one on one relationship and it ended … people do move on.. Robs problems stems from his fathers death to his home life, I think he feels like he never fitted in.. only the girls mattered to Kris…he felt left out and less important to his family. They always made him the black sheep of the family. Kim also is a very selfish person, I remember her saying Rob is spoiled and another words they just need to ignore him..
