Here’s the trailer for Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons. It starts out all nice and fun loving. Kris Jenner takes a cupcake to the face. Khloe rubs on French Montana, which is gross. Scott frolics in a bubble bath, and Kourtney finds out the sex of their baby. Then, BAM. Kourtney and Scott start fighting. Scott hits the bottle hard. Kourtney gives Scott an ultimatum about sobriety. He starts stumbling around and has to be picked up and carried. The camera shows some empty pill bottles. Scott is shown in the hospital. Then he’s in rehab. All in all, the trailer takes a turn for the bleak.
Sigh. I hate that I have to wonder whether Scott’s behavior in this trailer is real or if he’s simply playing a role. He does that all the time, but Scott’s often the good-time guy. He’s obnoxious and throws his money around, yes. He’s usually more of a family man than his douchey reputation would have us believe. This season has Scott accusing Kourtney of “suckering” him into more kids. Now there’s all this alcohol and pill drama. We heard a few months ago that Scott went the ER for alcohol poisoning. The detail about the pills is new.
Do you think Scott’s story this season is scripted or authentic? There’s a kernel of truth. Scott’s authentically depressed over the death of his parents. He’s always been a heavy drinker. Now he’s gone over the edge. And that edge is a dark one. Still, these are the Kardashians. Scott may be different, but he’s still one of them. The family has a weird relationship with the truth. Is this whole alcohol-and-pill overdose story real?

I watched the show the other day where he finds out she is pregnant … he looked really really rough. I truly believe he is depressed – and who wouldn’t be after losing both parents? The poor guy needs some help and Kourtney isn’t helping.
Yeah, I’d buy that. They might be exaggerating for a story (I mean, it’s what they do) but I think it’s pretty fair to say that he’s not doing well after his parent’s death. And if he already drank a lot, it’s an easy thing to just start drinking more, unfortunately.
I know what it’s like to lose both parents before you are 40. (I just turned 40). It is not pleasant. It’s heartbreaking, confusing, makes you feel vulnerable, etc. I do not doubt that he needs help, but I am disgusted that this would be advertised on the Kardashians’s show. That is the last thing he needs in his life. Trust me. Boundaries need to be established.
I agree. Scott looks rough these days. I have no doubt is actually going through some issues. I also have no doubt that the family is using this for ratings. No wonder people aren’t pushed to get better. If there were no issues, there wouldn’t be any money. However, like Rob, I would take Scott more seriously if he agreed to have a break from filming. I always have to question the severity of certain issues when someone is willing to work them out in public.
I was going to make a comment but you did it for me. My exact thoughts. He has an addictive personality and is a mean drunk. But this family and the producers, the mother of all people, is one of them, exploited his pain for ratings. Hopefully one day they won’t have the “very sad episode” insert sad music here….where Scott od’s for the final time. Plus I object when they show the madness and by the end of part 2, they tie everything up in a pretty bow and skip to the delivery room where she pops out yet another child. BTW, I like Rob too, but since he has a soul, he got lost in the darkness of their greed.
Sorry but please Rob is no better then the rest of them he to is playing a part in the soap opera called the Kardashian realty show.
He has been avoiding the show like the plague for the past couple of seasons. He didn’t go on their family vacation or Kim’s wedding.
Also I read somewhere that he was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning in the last year. Possibly this is what they were referring to? I think it’s pretty real.
My guess is no it’s not real. To my knowledge they didn’t show Lamar and Robs issues as they were happening (only after to throw Lamar under the bus).
I just think they would have squashed an OD if it was for real, and saved it to bring it up if he and Kourtney broke up.

Lamar was not a crack head. He may have smoked pot, even popped a few pills, but he was not a crack head. Lamar embarrassed Khloe with the all the mistresses, I believe their marriage was already over, to get back at Lamar the K’s planted all the crackhead stories.
He may have not been on crack, specifically, but I heard about his drug use from people in the sports industry long before it was ever brought to light in the tabloids/on the show. I believe he was an addict, and they hid it until they wanted to use it against him which is completely vile.
This is very true, no one seems to remember the NBA tests randomly, the NBA is not hiding anything. Lamar was a single and happy, playboy womanizer…but when they got through with him, he was a crackhead, womanizer, suicidal abusive, and to blame for all of Rob and Klo’s problems BUT they had no problem spending the tons of loot though.
this money hungry family makes it hard to believe anything they “claim” is true reality. They’ve made folks believe that the true talent Bruce is a looney freak and a nobody…he is a part of history and the only legit person on the show.
The PMK has a gag order on all the husbands, long time boyfriends, wife and long time girlfriends; for the simple fact that if their is a split the family can drag the Ex’s name through the mud and the Ex’s won’t be able to defend themselves.
this is all very true. They may have even turned Bruce into a woman. Who knows. The K’s are like the non lethal black widows. you know, men do not stand a chance with them. Kayne might because he is as nuts if not more.
@truthful: pro sports (and this definitelt includes the NBA) drug testing programs aren’t particularly stringent, I wouldn’t use that as proof of anything. Word on Lamar was that he was always a sketchy guy (and this includes pre-K) but just because he ran afoul of the K ardashians doesn’t automatically make him a saint.
NBA drug tests are a joke. They can only test you a few times a year, so once you hit that limit, you are scott free.
Im sorry, in this case, they were not lying. They were just using his addiction against him which is awful, and blamed other peoples problems on him, which is also awful. But that does not change that he was into drugs.
This family will stop at nothing. Cashing in on him that way, regardless of the act if real or not, is just wrong but guess no one should really be surprised. Can this crap be taken of TV before they sink even lower?!

I watched the show when it first came on, they were all so vile, I stopped watching. Then the infection spread to all things E! and I turned off the channel. I’m amazed how long the show has lasted, they are gross. Who knows what the truth is with Scott. All I know is that show is about selfish, boring people who are only interested in themselves and showing off. Dull as dishwater.
Umm no I don’t believe anything much on that show is real. Of course he is depressed his parents both passed away but he has kids and I don’t see him really od’ing with them on his mind. They needed drama and it’s up to him Kim is as boring as anything these days she is married and until things get rocky and she wants out of the marriage I think it will be all rainbows and unicorns for her. No one really cares too much about the others. When will they just go away?
If he has had these problems and went to rehab, it is good to see Scott getting help.
Now if it was all an act for the show and pretend to go to rehab that is just wrong. Why on earth do they still call it a reality show if it is all scripted? Also faking going to rehab, just makes the public more cynical and roll their eyes when we hear of another celebrity going to rehab.
How many of these celebs are actually serious about getting help and how many go through the motions just to justify bad behaviour ?

Unless they are filming, or he is being paid to host at a club he never is Papp-ed in a club, or drinking or out partying.
During the filming hiatus we never see him anywhere. I think they live a quiet life off the show.
My rule of thumb for attention whores is as such: if it got advertised, it is fake. If they didn’t advertise it, it’s true.

He has very little respect or regard for fellow human beings, reportedly stuffing money into a server’s mouth. And so I have little respect or regard for him. I don’t care what happens to any of the KUWTK crowd. They are greedy, selfish, vain people who serve no purpose other than to collect cash and provide fodder for gossip. They are sly, but not smart, and I’ll be glad when they are over. I don’t click on K stories on any other site, but Celebitchy provides a nice pressure valve for my disgust for the K Klan.
I do the same, Celebitchy is my one site for clicking on K stories, I like to read the snarky comments. Otherwise, I avoid all things K.

They re-create and re-shoot scenes on that show all the time. I bet they even re-shot some of the pre-wedding stuff with Kim. It’s all beyond fake. Kourtney and Scott’s storyline is so old…it’s the same thing over and over again. He drinks and parties, she gets mad, then she gets pregnant hoping he’ll be a better boyfriend/husband, he screws up again, and so on and so on. The only truth to the show is the part where he talks about his mom and dad passing way, that really happened.
Totally fake. Scott is playing a part on a TV show and I think he LOVES playing this character of bad guy. But in real life I think he’s a super good dad and boyfriend and dotes on his family. I think he loves to play this jackass on the show because it keeps the viewers guessing and hating him and it brings drama/storyline to the show. That said, Scott is my favorite part of watching KUWTK! I could watch him pull “Todd Kraines” pranks on Kris all hour long.
I think you’re exactly right, and I still giggle at Todd Kraines, too! Also, I identify with Scott a bit, being an only child effectively married into a large family. Plus, I think he’s gotten so handsome with age.

Kourtney and Scott’s storyline is like a cycle that repeats itself every season of every Kardashian show: Scott drinks, Kourt gets suspicious, Kourt’s talking heads about Scott becomes more frequent, Scott tries to get her to forgive him, Kourt ignores him and discusses his issues with everyone else but him, then Kourt realizes Scott is all she has and no one else will be willing to be her woman, then Kourt and Scott make up. A blind person could see this coming all the way.
Scott is the sacrificial lamb of the Kardashian Klan and he is willing to make a joke out of himself on public television. Since the dollar shoving incident at Vegas, he was up to no good. Kourtney’s kids will be really embarrassed when they grow up watching their own father waste himself and Kourtney enabling everything. SAD!!!
Scott’s “job” includes going to pool parties as a celebrity guest. Puhleese. I watch the show for amusement. They do photo shoots to capture your interest – such as Bruce “becoming a woman”. Everything is set up. For all we know, the Jenners “living separately” is a hoax. After publication of the shocking revelations, you have to tune in to see the actual happening. I think that Tori and Kendra jumped on the scandal band wagon for the $$. I don’t watch these shows, but they smell similar.
I think it’s real. He’s depressed over losing both parents within a short time frame. Hell, I was depressed when my mother died, it took me a long time to get over it. I think they shouldn’t of done the Hampton show because he stated “while his parents were living they wanted him and Khourtney to spend the summer w/ them and they never did. He could of been feeling guilty being there and he has that history of drinking, so I believe it to be true. I believe he needs to get a real job, so he’s not so wrap up w/ the Kardashians.
I don’t doubt that his grief is real, he is a person, whatever script he plays on the show, it can’t be easy to lose both your parents. I hope he seeks some grief counseling, it helped my mother very much when my step-father passed away. Playing this role on TV is his job.
