I complained about Lady Gaga’s latest busted wig a few weeks ago, but you know what? It’s grown on me. I’m not saying the wig looks good, per se, or like it’s anything other than a bargain-basement find from Wigs R’ Us. But as I see more photos of Gaga these days, I’m liking her current style vibe. The dark hair looks good on her, she looks healthy and her skin looks great. These are photos of Gaga at LAX yesterday. I guess her puppy Asia didn’t make the trip.
A few weeks ago, Gaga’s boyfriend Taylor Kinney wore his own ring while filming scenes for Chicago Fire. His costar Sophia Bush made a big deal about it on social media, and there were subsequent rumors that Taylor and Gaga had gotten secretly married. I kind of hope that it happened that way, because I keep hoping that Gaga’s Second Act involves NOT oversharing about everything. But reports out of the UK claim that Gaga and Taylor just did a low-key (and non-binding) commitment ceremony and that’s why Taylor wears a ring.
Lady Gaga and beau Taylor Kinney have reportedly held a commitment ceremony to prove how dedicated they are to each other. The news comes following reports that the couple had already tied the knot after Kinney was snapped wearing what looked like a wedding ring.
The Daily Star claims that the Marry The Night singer and Kinney hosted the event at Lady G’s parents restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, in New York, with a source telling the tabloid: “Gaga wanted something visual, a commitment ceremony with the people who matter the most. They don’t have time to plan a wedding, so they decided they would have a small gathering to show the people they love most how committed they are to one another. It was just for her family and a few close art and designer friends. Taylor’s mum Pam was there too. She flew in with one of his brothers.”
Speaking of Taylor’s rumoured wedding bling – which his Chicago Fire co-star Sophia Bush recently referred to as his ‘personal ring’ on Instagram – the insider added: “The ring is just a sign of his commitment to Gaga. They will get married properly next year, when they have time to plan a wedding.”
Is anyone else a little bit surprised that Taylor and Gaga are still together at all? They’ve been together since… Born This Way, right? They met while filming the video for “You & I” back in 2011. So, they’ve been together for three years or more. I guess once you score a hottie like that, you stick with him. I wonder what Taylor thinks of Gaga’s wig?

He seems so low key and laid back it’s the only way I can look at them as a couple and go, yeah ok they make sense, if she acts like a non-nutbar so he can look past the antics as he knows its just an act?
She must drop the act at some point. I can’t imagine him sticking around if she didn’t.
I think she tones it down a lot but the issues she had with her ex-assistant showed she’s an megalomaniac (not even a half a decade into her career) which means it’s part of her personality not her image.
Also, they don’t see each other a lot and I think that helps in their case. She even said they didn’t speak for weeks (yet she finds time to put on ridiculous outfit one after the other and tweeting up a storm) but it’s ok because it works for them. She also said he also has a weird streak basically. I think they’re bot juvenile, you can’t deal with craziness like that if you’re not crazy yourself. Then again…I’ve seen some couples (introvert guy- extrovert girl).
Yeah, when you look at them, you don’t think they’d work but they clearly do, so congrats to them and I hope it lasts.
Agreed. Maybe there’s more to her than what meets the eye. I don’t get that just because he is hot and she is eccentric they can’t possibly work. Clearly there must be something working for them.

This gives off a Linda Lovelace vibe to me, with the 70’s clothes, etc. I’ve tolerated Gaga for years now, but she has decidedly put me off. To make fun of Linda Lovelace just punches me in the gut, can’t with this popstar.
I just can’t get my head around these two as a couple, especially an enduring one. He is sex on legs and she is the antithesis of sex. I know that’s a superficial assessment but that’s my gut reaction, and my skepticism when it comes to celebs has me thinking things aren’t as they appear. Because they never are.

Gaga is so full of it…when I saw her thanksgiving special, it was obvious she just spews lieful BS constantly. This guy is normal and model hot, and she is a coc’d out freakshow on ice. This -can’t- be an authentic relationship, sorry, but her whole act goes deep into her whacked out personal life; does anyone remember how her assistant had to sleep in her bed and got paid by hanging out with (uch) Uncle Terry? Does her whole life’s equation add up to a normal relationship? Uh. NOooooo.
The wig is awful but her face looks so pretty in these pics. I had no idea she was pretty. And her body looks healthier.
I find her pretty. I don’t know why some people brand her as ugly but she was pretty hot pre-fame days. Like Miley Cyrus, she has great skin.
I think that’s probably not a comment on ever finding her ugly so much as never being able to tell quite what her face actually looked like under all the makeup and prosthetics and costume and attention-seeking.
She’s very pretty naturally, I think.
I thought she was unattractive for a long time, because, as Charlotte says, all I ever saw were pictures of her in some hideous makeup and try hard outfit like the meat dress. The first time I saw her out of costume, or whatever you call it, I was surprised to find that she was quite pretty.
When she first came out with Just Dance she wasn’t totally wacko and she had a gorgeous face and body. Then she just became a bit nutters and no one could really asses anything.
When I see pics of celebs walking/dressing/acting all smooth, I like to focus on how red and sore their feet are instead. Those big toes aren’t happy, Gaga.

I have no explanation, but I think the wig is sort of cute.
I wonder more what he thinks of that huge monster claw she just had tattooed on her back. It’s big and ugly. I don’t get it.
She tweeted a photo of doing her makeup and showed the face tape to pull back her face tight and jawline and I think eyes I was shocked when her fans said she always uses it and they wished she would stop doing it because she looks younger when she doesn’t and it’s probably going to affect her skin looseness down the road. I had no idea she was doing that all the time.
I just don’t get the Kinney/Gaga love connection. But he clearly loves her. When she broke her hip and was on hiatus and stayed with him, I thought how sweet, time together. Admitted later she was smoking pop nonstop all day because she was depressed and staying high. He stuck with her through it all, so it must be love.
Here’s the photo of her monster claw on her back she just got while overseas on tour. She looks high as a kite in the photo after getting it. And another photo she showed while getting it she had lifted up her outfit and had her bare bum showing for the photo. LOL

She is WASTED in that pic and hat tattoo is atrocious. she has the money and notoriety to book a sitting with any of the best tattoo artists in the world. The quality and placement of that thing is unexplainable and unforgivable.

I know. She is so wasted in that picture. You should see the one where she pulls her whole outfit up to bare her ass while getting the tattoo. It’s so bizarre. She had just said a few weeks before she’s the most sober she’s been. I think some took it to mean she’s completely off everything. I never did. I took it that she’s just not drunk or high everyday and has it under control for her. Because she is definitely wasted while getting that tattoo and in some photos she tweets to her fans you can see she is also.
I’m still saying Adrienne Barbeau with the wig. I envision Gaga being chased through the marshes by the Swamp Thing. My movie choices when I was a yewwwwth were questionable.
Yawn. Steph still wants to believe she’s something larger than life, but she’s just another pop star who’s had a run and is on the way down. Her private life isn’t any more interesting than her music at this point.
