LeAnn Rimes loves Halloween. She goes all-out every year, especially since she manages to get her “Bonus Boys” every year for the holiday, I guess. LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian usually work a theme, coordinating their costumes somewhat successfully. One year they did a “redneck” theme, with LeAnn looking trashy and Eddie wearing a mullet wiglet. One year they did a Grease theme, with LeAnn as Sandy and Eddie as Danny. This year, LeAnn and Eddie went old-school. Like, really old school. They were Lucy and Desi from I Love Lucy. Out of all the possibilities… this one makes some kind of stupid sense. Eddie is Cuban-American, like Desi Arnaz. LeAnn is… er, okay, she’s nothing like Lucille Ball.
I was sort of surprised that LeAnn didn’t tweet a crazy amount of photos. She posted the kissing pic of herself and Eddie with the message “Lucy, I’m Home #firstofmany #HappyHalloween #havingthebesttimealready.” Shouldn’t Eddie say “Lucy, I’m home”? #emasculating. LeAnn also posted a photo with her Bonus Boys, who dressed up like Green Arrow and the Joker.
And just because one can’t exist without the other, Brandi just had to tweet SOMETHING. So here it is:

I deal with the father of my child being in a relationship with another girl (and I say girl for reason), and we share a daughter together. Like LeAnn, the girl he sees does things that are intentional acts of disrespect towards me. Such as posting a picture of our daughter on her facebook with her friends on there able to view our (not hers) daughter. When he first started seeing her we laid out ground work to keep the other parent happy which mainly dealt with respect for the other parent. However due to her insecurities from previous relationships, she believes my ex is fooling around on her, lying, etc etc with me so she’d intentionally take little jabs at areas she knew I wasn’t okay with, IE the pictures (something simple). When I’d say something to my daughter’s father he’d downplay it and say it wasn’t a big deal (despite the agreement we came to) so it left me feeling angry and attacked. What better way to deal/acknowledge the disrespect than to lash out over an issue that I felt is very disrespectful? Nah, it’s not the most mature decision but when it’s over something of great importance or feeling to the other, emotions get the better of us. Case in point Brandi’s reaction. It’s hard watching another woman with your children no matter how much ‘peace’ you’ve come to so I can’t fault Brandi for her reaction.
Yes, I do imagine all that game playing would be difficult. I was lucky, when my ex and I parted, he contributed one month of child support then left the country never to be seen again. My daughter never knew him and I never had to deal with any of that kind of stuff. This was 40 years ago, its harder for that to happen now, they like to keep the kids in contact with both parents even if one of them is abusive and a deadbeat.
I agree. LeAnn went to the all the trouble of doing Halloween, the dressing up, the kids costumes, the kids make up, just to get that “shot” to spear into Brandi. Unfortunately sometimes manipulative behaviors are a sign of anxiety.

I have to agree. It never dawned on me that she was discussing Leann. And to be honest, I don’t think she is. I think she’s just making a general statement.
So I have a question about the custody arrangement, because I’m confused. I read from a few posters that Brandi and Eddie have the kids every two days but that they switch holidays but I’ve never seen the kids with Brandi on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and I wanna say she has them for Christmas Eve, but the kids go back to Eddie on Christmas day, right? And how about New Years, Easter? I’m really confused because from what I think I know, which is not much, Brandi really has the short end of the stick. She never really has them for a full holiday neither as opposed to Leann and Eddie who, it would appears always have them on Halloween, for the entire day.
I think Eddie used LeAnn’s money to hire good attorneys for his divorce, he was able to show a more stable environment with LeAnn since he left Brandi with nothing, bet that’s how he got such a good custody arrangement. Plus he knew it would hurt Brandi the most, from the way she tells it he wasn’t really there for her or the kids when they were married, he and LeAnn have a nannies, housekeepers, assistants, agents, grandparents etc to help them with the kids so I doubt he does much parenting when he has them. I think he’s a terrible father for allowing LeAnn around them when there’s so much proof that she’s unstable. Brandi definitely got the crap end there, but she’s been so successful with everything else while LeAnn and Eddie fail miserably at everything they touch!
We also have to keep in mind, Brandi works more. At this point she’s working more than both Eddie and LeAnn combined. Better to send them to their dads house than leave them with a babysitter/nanny, I suppose.
Brandi and Eddie have 50/50 custody which is pretty standard in California now. They split the holidays its just hard to notice it because Leann posts far more holiday pics than the boys’ own mother does. I think they have a 2 on/2 off/3 on/ 3off, start all over type of arrangement.
Last year the boys were supposed to be with Brandi on Halloween but she gave up her day so they could go Trick or Treating with their friends from school. And since LeAnn and Eddie live near the school and friends… Brandi gave up her day for her boys.
However, it appeared the boys wanted no part of LeAnn’s Halloween pic games, because according to LeAnn, Mason didn’t want to dress up. LeAnn kept claiming he was saying he was too old, which everyone/twitter called bs on, because no boy that young bows out of Halloween.
Whatever really happened there were no Halloween pics of the boys last year.
This year, obviously, it was LeAnn and Eddie’s year. But whether LeAnn and Ed would’ve been nice *cough, cough* and flipped the day back to Brandi probably never came up because Brandi’s dad took a turn for the worse so she was flying to be with him on Halloween.
Anyway, it seems like Brandi will probably keep driving her kids back to their father’s house on Halloween no matter what. Because it is a kid’s day to have fun with their school friends and she loves her kids. And clearly, Mason isn’t too old for dressing up as LeAnn lied about/claimed happened last year.
I have to say that Mason looks over it also.

Considering the show was in black and white, she wore “black” dresses quite frequently. Who knows what color those dresses were in person, but on the show they showed up black.

Yeah, I watch a lot of black and white movies/television and I can tell the difference between a black article of clothing and a colorful. I can tell the difference between black and a brown. It’s not as indistinguishable as you make it appear. Black will always be noticeable even in black and white television.

Really unfair comparison for Lucy. She was a producer on her own show. She was the brains behind the comedy. And she advanced women’s issues by winning the fight to be pregnant on tv. Desi was basically a kept man, though, so he and Eddie do have something in common. That’s where the comparison ends.

Actually she was largely the brains behind the whole operation but lived in a time period that wasn’t ready to accept her as the dominant member of their team, so he received a lot of credit for her work. He may not have been “kept” to the same degree as Eddie, but he very much owes his success to his wife.

Desi was far from a kept man, actually Ricky and Lucy were a team on the show, they wrote and produced and Ricky directed, and he sang and played the drums lol. Desi is actually responsible for the innovation of the multi-camera shot that all sitcoms have used ever since. He was a very talented man in his own right, so absolutely no comparisons can be made between him and Eddie. Another difference is that he and Lucy really did passionately love one another and they didnt get married just for publicity reasons and because Desi’s wife kicked him out like Brandi did.
desi’s not responsible for the multi-camera invention, that was jess oppenheimer and the other producers. desi became a producer a few seasons in and jess even wrote that desi liked to take credit for things he didn’t do. jess wrote a really interesting book!

He certainly did. It (sleeping with women not his wife) was almost an endurance sport for him. So, in this respect is Leann and Eddie Dead on in their constumes. And I disagree with the article. Leann is married to a cheating husband. Much like Ball was. And in both cases I think it’s known cheating.
Ball understood what was going on. She was a business woman all the way. Tending to her husband or child was only for the cameras.

It makes a difference because Eddie has an oblgation to support his kids. How can he do that without working. When a couple have no kids in common it makes no difference. But when a man doesn’t work and has to pay child support the woman supporting him is only enabling him from his responsibility.I doubt Brandi cares about Leann and her show and tell life, after all these years she has become immune. Leann is the one needing the attention. If Eddie leaves her world will come crashing down. I hate to see a woman put all her hopes and dreams in a man like Eddie and another woman’s kids.
Leann knew what she was getting. I think when Brandi let her listen to the tape of Eddie calling Leann ugly and a speedbump she is so desprate to show Brandi – it is not true. So, Eddie entering that marriage as a cheater and sponge – he was honest. Leann was so crazy about him she took him as he was – I think more to prove to Brandi she was just as good. In fact, Leann did Brandi a favor – she took a loser off her hands and now she is free to find true love. Looneyann is stuck in the mud.

Does Brandi ever get to have the kids on any holidays?
That’s my question a few posts up. It seems Eddie has the kids most holidays, or they split the holiday, Brandi’s in the morning and Eddie’s in the evening. But I’ve never seen Brandi to have them for an entire holiday, whereas I have seen Eddie and Leann have the kids for the entire day, like every Halloween. She [Brandi] has a crappy custody arrangement.
I think it just seems like leann & Ed are always w the boys for holidays because she posts pics & tweets incessantly when theyre with them.. One of many reasons she’s so disliked.. I think Brandi actually enjoys the time she spends w her kids vs feeling inclined to brag endlessly about them being with her. I really wish people woul STOP saying that Eddie is thrown a bone by TYLER PERRY. The Best man Holiday was not a TP production. Just because it was a black film doesn’t mean it was a TP project. I’m not a racially sensitive person but when I read that on this site I find it troubling… If you are going to so confidently proclaim something at least bother to get the facts straight. That film that eddie has a wee small part in is a cult favorite in the African American community and was around way before TP rose to fame. Furthermore there is always the insinuation that Eddie being “thrown a bone” by TP would be something to be ashamed of. Chronically unemployed EC should be so lucky as to work with someone as successful TP because regardless of your taste on films he is hugely successful and owns his own Film studio, and has a large audience. Morris Chestnut and Eddie are BFFs, they starred in The Cave together. When Morris Chestnut was on Wendy Williams he said that he and Eddie play poker together alot. Where is AKM-GSI where Eddie is out having a poker’s night with the boys? The only reason Eddie was added to The Best Man Holiday cast was because his poker buddy, Morris Chestnut, got him the part.
Tyler Perry has thrown Eddie a bone, Leann has said many times that she and Tyler are BFFs. Tyler Perry hires Eddie as a favor to Leann. Eddie has been in 2 of Tyler Perry’s movies(Good Deeds and Single Moms Club) and made regular appearances on one of his sitcoms. What I find interesting is that Single Moms Club didn’t do well at the box office, but Tyler Perry and Oprah turned it into a sitcom, changed it’s name, and got rid of Eddie(I was shocked that he didn’t add Eddie to this sitcom since Eddie had a part in his other sitcom). Now it is doing well. The woman who played Eddie’s ex-wife in the movie, also plays in the sitcom. They replaced Eddie’s character with a much younger, better looking, and better actor.
Eddie gets his jobs one of 2 ways: Leann’s connections (Tyler Perry, Eddie got to race in the Toyota Race because Leann became friends with the Kardashians one year) and his poker buddies(Morris Chestnut and Cole Hauser).
Leann didn’t tweet all night on Halloween because she was very busy on Amazon downloading her album. Her album was in the 1000s on Amazon and then in the morning, it had suddenly been bumped to the 500s. Leann did spend much of her morning yesterday on twitter tweeting about how awesome her party was. Why was she downloading her album then? Was she handing them out instead of candy?
The best thing about Leann’s Halloween family photo is that it took the press 2 days to notice it. Is Leann running out of money because normally she would have paid The Dailymail to write a nice article about their costumes as soon as she posted the photos. So far this is the only site that has written about Leann’s costumes. VH1 did a write up about the costumes of their reality stars and even they didn’t include Leann and Eddie’s photo.
Those costumes look so horrible. Desi was a great choice for Eddie because like Desi, Eddie is a cheater and drunk and Desi and Lucy had a very rocky marriage. Leann looks more like Orphan Annie or Ronald McDonald than Lucy. What is Leann doing to her face? Leann could have taken the time to put her wig on correctly, her hair is sticking out the back and sides. Eddie just looks so goofy, miserable, and emasculated. What is going on with his ears in that family photo? Is he wearing elf ears? Eddie has on more make-up than Leann and he dyed his hair. Did he get hair plugs? Eddie also looks like he lost a lot of weight in these photos. Did Eddie find a new girlfriend or does he have a new job coming up?
Eddie sucks as a father. The only reason he let Leann take this photo with his kids was because Leann took him and her friend on a 6 day vacation to the Bahamas. This year, they took the family photo in the backyard instead of the driveway! Leann is always so predictable. Those kids look so uncomfortable. The poses never look natural. It’s like whoever was taking the photo told Jake to touch Leann’s hand. Why does it always look like Eddie is forcing Mason to be in the photo? Leann said that she ordered Jake’s costume, so why didn’t she bother to get him one that fits? What was the point in bragging about buying his costume if she was just going to get the wrong size and length? Where is Kiki?
Most if not all of Leann and Eddie’s costumes center around Brandi. For the shotgun wedding, Leann had a pack of Winston cigarettes in her dress because of Brandi’s answer on RHOBH. Last year, Leann and Eddie dressed as Dolly and Kenny because Brandi said that she loved Dolly and Kenny in her interviews and tweets. Then Leann later changed into a unicorn outfit because Brandi wrote about unicorns in her book. Leann dressed as Sandy from Grease because she couldn’t stand that Hurricane Sandy was getting more attention than she was, but she did taunt Brandi by posing with her kids in the driveway and tweeting to the parents from Jake’s school who went to her house.

The way she always has to have her hands on the youngest is so disturbing I cringe every time I see it. The death grip she has on the little one caught my attention, too, but I thought it could have just been me. There’s a very strange dynamic being captured in the photos and not one of them seems truly at ease. Also, Leann set herself up for failure by trying to model herself after a classic beauty like Lucy. Not the first time she’s made that mistake, unfortunately.
Sometimes it seems she has to tickle them to get them to do their posing for her. She’ll stand with what looks like her arms around them from behind, like she’s hugging, but you’ll notice her hands are right under their armpits. Kids don’t usually want to do all this posing for Twitter.

I like their costumes. Looks like they put a lot of thought into them. And especially the kids. Their costumes are very detailed.
I know people here hate them. I don’t care one way or the other. But they are still together and seem happy. Many couples people thought would last for a long time have broken up or divorces. You never know what makes a couple click or work. They could be right for each other and surprise a lot of people. OR not..

Leann is unhappy. What person do you know tweets 200 times a day while on vacation or a holiday with their family? Leann was on a 6 day vacation in the Bahamas with her husband (and friend) and she spent every day of it on twitter and many times during that vacation she was arguing with people. Leann complains about people treating her life like a soap opera and then she spends every moment of it tweeting and posting photos. Leann tweets so much that people can predict what she is going to do before she even does it. Like the Lucy and Desi costumes.

My son got a little night table and cut arm and head holes in it. He glued an alarm clock and picture to it, stuck a lamp shade with glow sticks in it on his head, and went out as a one nightstand.
Inventive costumes are always fun to look at. I don’t mind people dressing as Iconic people.. I don’t like when they dress like people that are still alive.

Vh1 hasn’t officially announced if it’s going to renew or cancel Leann’s reality show, but someone said that CMT is going to start airing season 1 of Leann’s reality show. One of her friend’s(CMT Cody), works for CMT. I figured that she was trying to get another station to air her show, I just thought it was going to be E or Fox. The Halloween happy family photo was because Leann took Eddie on a 6 day vacation to the Bahamas and made a deal with CMT through her friend CMT Cody to air her show.
I understand why Leann and her fans are frantic today. The CMAs are Wednesday. Did Leann get an invite? She tweeted that she got an invite to the CMA Christmas special, but she hasn’t said anything about the CMAs.
She wasn’t invited, in fact when was the last time Leann was invited to the CMA’s?
She’s putting her show on the country music channel? She is sending her bitter crazy and her (gag) trophy husband’s obsession with the ex, right into the living room of all her peers and few fans? There is never a picture where she doesn’t look creepy and up to something. Can’t stand her. Everything seems sooooo contrived. There is a popular blogger that calls him “The Cuban” so what do they do??? Dress him as a famous Cuban. Just dumb.

I mean it’s their business, but I’ve always wondered why Brandi NEVER gets her kids on Halloween. LeAnn’s been pulling this crap with “Our Halloween FAMILY photo, nah nah nah naah nah” since she first got together with Eddie. Can’t they take turns on this holiday each year? Brandi’s missing a huge chunk of her children’s childhood – we all know what a big deal Halloween is for the kids. And they will grow up without ever spending it with their mother? Seems a little unfair,that’s all. (Don’t even get me started on LeAnn’s parading them kids like some sort of prize…)
It could just be that Brandi doesn’t have to tweet every move that is made or post pics of the boys 24/7 because she doesn’t have anything to prove.
Brandi tweeted that her father is very ill, and said something along the lines of “I’m with my dad and my kids are with theirs”. She also said “My dad can’t have kids around right now and the boys father is understanding”. Nice words.
People need to leave her alone.
They alternate holidays. Anyone that follows Brandi knows this. I believe she let the boys be with Dad this year because her Father is very ill. LeAnn even takes an opportunity like this to stick it to her which is low but what else can you expect from gutter trash. How appropriate to dress as Luci and Desi when we all know Desi cheated throughout their entire marriage. Somehow she believes being married to a Cuban American and her being an American sweetheart makes them a modern day Luci and Desi…NOT. Both Desi and Luci had talent. Eddie is a horrible actor and LeAnn use to be an okay singer.

She probably lets LeAnn & Eddie have them. First off, the kids are too old to go trick or treating with their mother. L&E live in Hidden Hills which is a fun place for trick or treating, plus, a gated safe community. Brandi probably just wants the kids to have fun and she knows Hidden Hills is an area where they will be with their friends, it’s not a competition here, she’s doing it for the kids.
How appropriate! Desi was known for cheating on Lucy their entire marriage, so they couldn’t have picked a better couple to represent their own lives.

Lucy (in character) was desperately fame hungry and messed up nearly everything she attempted. The difference is that she got laughs and the show had a huge audience for years.
No one has to be like the Halloween characters they portray. Yet in this case, I think she repeatedly mentioned L&D, as if they were the modern day version.
Not much more I can add that hasn’t been said!! She wanted to be Lucy and Desi thinking of them as the iconic power couple in love. We all know how well that marriage worked out. She will keep proclaiming how happy they are as he can’t get a job (or doesn’t want one) and she has flop after flop i.e. empty casino gigs, failed albums, no recording contract and probably not near enough money coming in to cover all the expenses. Tell me who in the world would be so happy under those conditions? Noone,,,it’s a conspiracy to fool all of us!! LOL. Good day ladies.
I don’t know what just happened to Leann, but she was on twitter just a few minutes ago freaking out. Something bad happened between her and Eddie because her tweets this morning seem to focus on making Eddie look like a loving supportive husband. She tweeted that she is taking Lizzy on tour with her in December(the only way to get Eddie to go on the Christmas tour was to invite his girlfriend), that Eddie woke up next to her singing I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas, how Eddie still has the boots that he wore in Northern Lights, and that she and Eddie had a date night last night that consisted of football and takeout and ended with them going to bed at 7:30 pm because they have sooo much going on right now. What does Eddie have going on? Did he get a job? He doesn’t take care of his kids because based on Leann’s tweets and staged photo-ops it’s his parents, Leann, parents from Jake’s school, and Kiki who are taking care of Mason and Jake. Where really was Eddie at 7:30 pm because Leann really wants everyone to think that he was home in bed with her? Leann’s album jumped from the 700s to the 500s, so Leann wasn’t in bed at 7:30 pm like she said, she spent her night on Amazon and Itunes downloading her album. If Leann was as busy as she claims, there would be no time for her tweet the way she does. Leann complains that people think she is popping pills and then she gets on twitter and does what she did this morning.
Eddie must be taking Mason and Jake to school and Leann invited herself along for the ride because she is tweeting about LA traffic. Or maybe Leann set up a staged photo-op to get attention because as of today, no other blog posted their Halloween family photo! Leann said the tabloids write about her and Eddie every week. The tabloids only write about Leann when she pays them. She spent too much money on the 6 day Bahama vacation and didn’t have enough money to pay the press to write about her the following week.
Leann’s Christmas album jumped to the 400s on Amazon now. That’s one reason why she was tweeting the way she was this morning. She was downloading her album. When Leann doesn’t tweet her album falls in the 700s and 1000s. When she claims to be having an awesome time during her Halloween party or having a date night with her hubby, her album mysteriously moves from the 700s and 1000s to the 400 and 500s.
