You know how I was just bitching at Kim Kardashian for not knowing how to dress her figure? Well, look what we have here. Kim attended the ACRIA Holiday Dinner last night in NYC, and she wore this Ulyana Sergeenko ensemble which is just NO. Don’t put this on God either, Kim. She just likes to show off her midsection and I don’t understand why. Imagine this look if it wasn’t a two-piece. Imagine if it was just a body-con cocktail dress made out of that teal material… wouldn’t that have looked good on her? Instead, I’m trying to figure out how much of Kim’s size 2 is spilling out of her stupid satin skirt!
Kim was at this event for a nice reason though – she was presenting her friend, photographer Bruce Weber, with an Artists Ending AIDS award. She wrote on her Instagram: “Was such an honor to give my dear friend Bruce Webber the Artists Ending AIDS award at the Acria Foundation event! The fight is NOT over! So many young people get infected every day so please educate yourself to stop this awful disease.”
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life says that Kanye and Kim spend so little time together that Kim often has to “beg” Kanye to have sex with her. A source says:
“It sounds ridiculous that the biggest sex symbol of her generation is having to beg for sex but that’s exactly whats happening! Kanye loves Kim and is always telling her it’s not that he doesn’t want to have sex with her, it’s just that he’s been busy with work. He’s been traveling constantly, and doesn’t feel comfortable having Kim drag little Nori around the world.”
I think they’ve probably spent about five nights together in the past month, so… yeah. They’re rarely together. And Kim keeps saying she wants to get pregnant again. Here’s what I don’t understand: why does Kanye NEED to be away from Kim so often? I get that he’s working, but working on his album is something he could do in LA, right?

Kim’s clothes often look to me like she tried them on, sucked in everything as hard as she possibly could, saw nothing spilling over and decided to go for it. Unfortunately once girlfriend goes back to breathing, this is how the outfit looks.

Regarding sizes. I bet most of her clothes that don’t pinch at her are really labeled 4’s and 2’s. Vanity labels have made my xmas shopping terrible. A normal size 2 might now be a petite size 00. Ugh.
As much as I loathe defending KK, I think there is a decent chance she really truly DOES buy true size 4/2. She is freaking tiny – saw her once in person and she can’t (despite what wikipedia says) possibly be taller then 5′, possibly even 4’10. At that tiny stature, clothes off the rack likely DO ~start~ at a size 4, but because of her curves (natural or off the shelf) everything must be tailored to hell and back to work. It’s less her trying to jam herself into the wrong size – it looks more like a solid 50/50 blend of her not having a clue as to how she should dress for her shape and having a horrifying inept tailor (I work sometimes as a costumer and seamstress so I’m pretty familiar with how it SHOULD be handled) who can’t seem to figure out how to handle the items they are given to rework. The outfit is terrible, but if the waistband had been faced, the seams had been reinforced and eased correctly and dear gods above someone hadn’t tried to hem the skirt during an earthquake while doing tequila shots, it would be a totally different look.
Still an ugly look… but at least a properly fitted one. I just don’t get it. How does someone with so much money, with so many clothes and designers falling over themselves to dress her… how does she always seem to end up leaving the house in clothes that a design student would fail a class for shoddy workmanship if they tried to present them to a teacher?

I actually think the fabric of each piece is pretty on its own – the FABRIC – and maybe even the 2-piece could’ve worked with a teal skirt that fit properly. The shoes don’t make sense. This does not work as “color blocking.” It’s (of course) too tight. The hem is f-ed up. Etc, etc, etc!

God, my dusting cloths have more style and are more appropriate…

I’m no fan of Kims, but I will say there were some photos a few weeks back where she was in some well tailored black pants and a black silk blouse and she looked really beautiful. the cut of the clothes put her body into proportion and it really suited her. I don’t know what size she really is (hell, I don’t even know what size *I* am – every piece of clothing is different), but I would guess that she’s smaller than most people think.
Anyway, from the neck up, I think she looks great. Not sure how much of that hair is her own, but it looks really nice all the same.

It looks like the hem is coming out! And I hate, hate, HATE that non-color of the bottom half. The top, if there were more material, could be saved under a blazer or jacket, but the skirt is a no-way, no-how, uh-uh, nevah!
this is probably one of her worst outfits to date. The top is too small, the skirt is not fitted and the length is awkward, then the shoes clash with the entire look and don’t match. I will say this, her face looks good here.
If I had to guess Kim’s true size (not a size 2), it’s probably closer to a size 8, my a$$ can barely fit into a size 2.
