FKA Twigs attended the BRIT Awards last night because she was up for some awards. She lost those awards, but she still “won” the night by having one of the best looks on the red carpet. Twigs wore Alexander McQueen – it shows some skin, but it’s not “sexy” in the traditional sense. She looks cool and interesting. Twigs walked the carpet alone, even though her boyfriend Robert Pattinson flew into London just to be at the BRITs with her. He was in LA for Oscar weekend, and he attended the VF Oscar party with his mates Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge.
After the BRITs, Rob and Twigs went to an afterparty together though. They were spotted holding hands as they left the Warner Music afterparty. I like that Twigs didn’t change into a “party dress” – she knew she was rocking that McQueen and she was all “I’m going to keep wearing it while I party.” There are also some really nice loved-up photos of Sparkles and Twigs inside the party – go here to see.
I enjoy their whole vibe. Don’t you? Rob seems genuinely happy, the happiest he’s been in years. Twigs brings out a different side, a less sparkly but nonetheless more interesting side. According to E! News, “There is a special connection between the two of them. Music is a big part of the relationship, because it means to much to them. They clicked instantly and they literally have been inseparable.” Rob has also introduced Twigs to his family and “They absolutely loved her.” There were always reports of Rob’s sister not liking Kristen Stewart at all. Just sayin’.

Big yes on her arms. I don’t hate her outfit but she looks odd next to Rob in it because he’s dressed so casual and ordinary looking — he should have glammed it up a bit.
I hate the outfit, too. And the ring on her nose. Hate that type of nose ring (it looks like the ring they put on bulls’ noses) on anybody. I love her hair, though.

I’m not a fan of the boob cups but she definitely has the body for it so why not? I think I’d like it better without the weird skirt overlay.
I hate the outfit too, it looks awful. I also hate the nose ring. However, I think it’s great they are both so happy together.

May I add that a Kardashian wearing this would be only because it’s a designer and they wear the name and not a style vs Twigs where this outfit is her style. That’s the difference imo.
Well precisely. It’s not always about the outfit itself, it’s about the person wearing it. Twigs has the gravitas AND the body type to pull it off.
If you’re familiar with her style, she wears a lot of black and white, a lot of beading, wrapping, and bra-tops (is there a name for those?).
This outfit is just SO her and she rocked it.
Plus, if someone else – AKA Kartrashian – wore this, they would have worn it how it was presented on the runway – with granny painties under the sheer skirt.
In fact I think I only like the look because Twigs chose to wear it with the flowing pants underneath. It gives the whole look a different, more interesting vibe and offset the barely there bandage top. Very few people could wear this and pull it off. I think she rocks the outfit.
The skirt pant combo reminded me of Indian outfits (salwar, kameez) I wear. The top half though is a little too risqué for my indian family. I’d be disowned. Twigs looks amazing though.
There’s a really sweet picture of her sitting on his lap during the awards. I think lainey has it up.
I’ll be honest, I don’t like the top of it. It seems to be like those 90’s gowns, all over again. There too much constructed pattern on top of pattern in the fabric. It would have worked better with one or the other gone. Maybe the top being a solid piece. I know it’s supposed to be rock star-ish, but it’s incongruent, and not in a cool way. I get what they were trying to do, but I don’t think it succeeded.

He had to bulk up for years just for Twilight. He hasn’t seen the need to do it for a movie so far, so he’s back to his natural frame. His natural body type is very slim. Always has been. Although for a while there he was packing on the pounds, and he had a big belly lol.
I guess as soon as he starts training for another movie he’ll bulk up again.
Actually he got really fat before the first twilight (he was un-recognizable at LA event for the last Harry Potter movie), then he got really fat after the last twilight as well. He also mentioned in one of his interviews that he uses liquid diet when he needs to lose weight real fast. Bottom line, I would not call it “he just got to his natural frame…”

Rob didn’t go to the Oscars, just the Vanity Fair after party. She had 2 shows in London, then the Brit Awards, so she would have been in LA for about 48 hours Oscar weekend. It was probably not worth it for her to fly in for one party.
