The charming and dashing Nicholas Hoult has been officially single since he and Jennifer Lawrence broke up last July. JLaw quickly moved on with the king of elevator music, and I’m still so confused. I liked Nick and Jennifer together even though they were so off-and-on as a couple. He’s awkwardly suave, unconventionally handsome, and appears to have a real personality. The tabloids tried to set him up with co-star Kristen Stewart, which was predictable and ridiculous. Now some new gossip has surfaced, and it seems like a credible match. Nick has been seeing Glee star Dianna Agron, who has dated some cuties in the past (including Sebastian Stan). Here’s the initial report from the Sun (via the Mail):
The British actor has been single since their break-up last spring, but according to The Sun, he now has a new girlfriend – Glee beauty Dianna Agron.
“It’s early days but things between them are ticking along nicely,” a source told the tabloid. “They’ve been friends for a long time. Nicholas is very low key so at first, Dianna would just tag along with him to the pub and she’d be part of the gang.
“No one thought much of it but recently they’ve become quite lose and are behaving quite couply.”
Instead of hitting up the VIP areas of the English capital’s most exclusive nightclubs, Nicholas, 25, has been taking Dianna, 28, to quiz nights at his local pub.
The Skins star was also spotted treating her to a traditional Sunday roast dinner at his favourite watering hole the Black Lion in Hammersmith.
But according to The Sun, the casual dates have won over Dianna who is impressed with Nicholas’ low-key lifestyle.
So much so that the private star let her guard down completely to enjoy a PDA at The Gallery in West Hampstead, where she was spotted kissing a delighted Nicholas.

Us Weekly has some additional details. They say Nick and Dianna have been “casually dating” since last October, but “Nick’s not looking for anything serious at the moment.” Hmm. If it’s been six months, they might be a bit more than casual. Just saying. I do find it interesting that these two have kept their romance under wraps for half a year (unlike another couple). Yes, Nick has a lower profile than JLaw, but the tabloids would be interested in who JLaw’s ex is dating.

He is beautiful. I never really saw it before in his earlier films, but I now find him mesmerizing as he gets older—–especially in those Jaguar car commercials. And, he is 6’4″…hot damn…..he has all the refinement and cool class/reserve of Benedict Cumberbatch, but with the boyish face and bluest of eyes. Yes, I am in love. This is a good match; Dianna is gorgeous, and I have mad respect for anyone who had to endure Lea Michelle for all those years.
I’m still amazed that the awkward kid from “About a Boy” has turned into such a beautiful young man!

But both of them seem to be delightful people, at least judging by the interviews they give so if it’s true they’re dating, I wish them all the happiness. And that the X-men on-set awkwardness between him and J-Law won’t be too bad.

I loved him in Skins. To this day it cracks me up that when Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for her first Oscar (for Winter’s Bone) they released a photo of her family celebrating the news as it was announced and for some reason Hoult was standing there in the living room in a pair of roller skates.
Nice looking couple. She has such a lovely face but her fashion sense is very odd.
I actually like the fact that she takes risks with her fashion choices and seems to have fun with it, she is young, why not have fun with it. She does have a pretty awesome shoe game if I recall correctly.

I really like Dianna Agron. She did some work with NARAL Pro-Choice back in her Glee days, which isn’t a fluffy or career-enhancing choice of cause. She just believed in women’s reproductive rights and was willing to stand up and be counted over it, as well as lend her name and time to fundraisers.
I like Hoult as well, and they seem very low key and calm people so perhaps that would work well… but she’d better not end up markedly more successful than he is. I don’t know, but I don’t think he liked it much when JLaw did.
Word on Hoult was that he couldn’t handle the spotlight and scrutiny that came with dating Lawrence. Had he wanted to raise his own profile accompanying her on every red carpet and awards show would have been a golden opportunity to network and be seen. Not to mention that they’re young and both are working back to back to back in different cities. It’s not a mystery that a relationship didn’t stick.
I never know what to believe…whether Jennifer Lawrence is seriously dating Chris Martin (doubt it, actually…and according to numerous BI’s, yeah, I know, take BI’s with a pinch of salt,) but anytime there is press about Lawrence and Martin, it’s coming from Goop/Huvane. I don’t know whether or not this pairing of Hoult and Agron is serious or not either.
However, X-Men Apocalypse starts filming next month and Lawrence and Hoult have quite a history, so…stay tuned!.
I don’t see why would Jennifer put up with rumors of dating Chris martin for months if she wasn’t dating him when she always let her team deny every hookup rumors like she constantly deny the Bradley cooper rumors and liam hemsworth and also when she was hanging out with her best friend boyfriend and the media run with it she immediately let E! clear things up.
while I liked Jen and Nick together I doubt they would rekindle this time. they both moved on and the last time they got back together, was after three months of their break up.
I adore him in those car commercials! His subtle but charming facial expressions really impressed me–Who watches a car commercial and thinks, “Wow, that guy can really act!” But I totally did.
Dianna Agronn on the other hand…COULD NOT STAND HER on Glee or in anything else I’ve seen her in. She thinks ‘acting’ is sitting there with her mouth hanging open alá J.Lo, looking sad and teary while oh-so-delicately fluttering her eyelashes. Ugh. And she didn’t just “put up” with Lea Michele–they were roommates & besties. At least Lea Michele has some actual talent…

@K: Yes, that was apparently a big problem for Hoult. Hoult felt insecure about Jennifer Lawrence’s acclaim, superstar status, etc.,..there were rumors about Hoult’s team calling the paps when the two were out together (with Hoult’s knowledge) but Lawrence was unaware, which if true, was a pretty shitty thing to do to Jennifer Lawrence.

Ha!…I don’t care for Hoult either (although, I do think he’s very nice looking) but there have been waaay too many stories floating around about Hoult being an asshole to the women in his life.
Hoult has a rep for hooking up with his costars then abrubtly ending it once filming is over. The exception being Jennifer Lawrence of course, who, by all accounts seemed to really love him. I get the feeling that Lawrence really wanted the relationship to work but Hoult simply couldn’t/wouldn’t deal with her success, fame, Oscar, etc.,…
I don’t believe that they’ve been together since october. There were a lot of rumours the reason that Caroline Flack (british tv host and all round cougar) broke up with her boyfriend because he was cheating on her with Argon and this was in December. Caroline was tweeting him such things as ‘I hope your life is full of Glee’

Usweekly pulled this date from thin air. Diana had a boyfriend until december last year then was seen holding handing with another dude and rumored to date another one. This thing is obviously new. They are more equals in status so i guess is easier for him but she is also an american actress so the long distance thing will be the same as he had with Jennifer except Diana is not nearly as busy as Jlaw is but still. She looks a lot like Jen but personality is completely different, quite the 180 degree turn.

I always got the feeling that Jen was way into him than he was into her. I remember reading from someone who is close to friends with Nick that he was looking for casual hookups after his break up with Jennifer and went and celebrated ,so Just because we didn’t read about his flings during this past year doesn’t mean he was heartbroken over jen.

I never liked her but I think it was misguided because I didn’t know anything about her. It stemmed from an irrational hatred of Glee. But then I saw her in that mafia movie with Robert DeNiro and I thought she was amazing in that… so now I like her. She is so beautiful!
Hoult was very good in Tom Ford’s A Single Man with Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. He was 19 then and those blue eyes are mesmerizing.
