Here are some photos of Miley Cyrus out for a hike with friends last week. She was probably already single at this point, since Patrick Schwarzenegger went to Coachella without her. When Miley first went public with Patrick, the world gave a collective shrug. He’s a model and has famous parents, sure. I was under the impression that Patrick was using Miley for publicity. The tabloids went wild with stories of how outraged Maria Shriver was to see her son dating a heathen, but Patrick seemed just as wild as Miley. They seemed like an okay match but not a permanent one.
These two dated without much incident until last month when Patrick went on spring break in Mexico without Miley. He was papped doing body shots off a sorority girl. Kaiser thinks Patrick wanted out of the relationship for awhile, and maybe he tried to get Miley to break up with him. I agree, and that’s such douchey behavior. Multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News that the young Hollywood couple have chosen to take a “break” after dating for nearly five months.
This news may not come as a complete shock to fans, who have witnessed the recent rockiness in their relationship. Things seemed to be smooth sailing for the once-inseparable duo, but things changed when Patrick took his Spring Break trip to Cabo San Lucas in March, where he was photographed getting a little too close for comfort with a girl that wasn’t Miley.
Schwarzenegger found himself in hot water over the photos that surfaced showing him and a bikini-clad Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority sister in Mexico, and took to social media at the time to clear the air and defend himself.
“Omg. It’s one of my best friends girlfriend…” he tweeted Monday afternoon. “Would NEVER do anything against my GF.”
At the time, a source told E! News that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son was “devastated and heartbroken” to think he had caused Miley any pain.
“He doesn’t even know what to do with himself and just wants to hide from the world,” the source said. “He’s had some of his friends around for support, but he’s very down and upset. He hasn’t cracked a smile or been able to think about anything except Miley. He’s so embarrassed and knows he screwed up.”

Miley and Patrick didn’t date nearly as long as she and Liam Hemsworth did, but the endings seem similar. Liam fooled around with January Jones while he was with Miley. She pretty much ignored the whole story, and the mess dragged out for months before they finally broke up. They tried to reconcile, and Miley did the same thing with Patrick. They went out to lunch together a few weeks ago but couldn’t work it out, which is just as well.
Depending on what source you believe, this “break” could be much more. A source tells People that “It’s not a break. It’s done.” They’re two very different people. Patrick’s trying to concentrate on college, and Miley’s focused on her music. A different source reveals to Hollywood Life that Miley suggested a break “as a test for Patrick to see what he will do.” Yeah, they’re done. Patrick has looked miserable since the spring break scandal.

Lol, I have a January Jones in my town! Everyone does, I think. And it’s a SMAAAAALL town. But for some reason, this woman can do nothing BUT get with married/taken men. I don’t understand it. And she’s kinda like January, in that she’s not a “vixen”–she’s actually a very nice, sweet woman (she’s in her late twenties now), who likes taken men. And it’s not JUST taken men–she usually gets with someone who is connected to her current boyfriend. Every. single. time.
I really don’t think 22-years-old is ‘that’ young … not when you’ve had one long-term relationship end in an engagement (before it ended). That was Miley’s ‘learning’ relationship, or it should have been. In my opinion, no more ‘youth’ excuses for Miss Miley.
And did Liam ‘really’ fool around with January Jones? I mean, weren’t they just spotted in a bar after an event all up on each other? That could mean anything from friendly flirting to one of them having a mite too much substance–alcohol or otherwise. Did we ever see them out doing the walk of shame or was it just that one incident and everyone simply took it as evidence that they were fooling around?
I think there was never ever a chance of Liam and Miley getting back together after his family (including big brother Chris) called him home to Australia for a “WTF??, that’s not how our family rolls!” intervention.
I was met my first husband at 22, so I feel now that I was too young and immature to make a life long choice. That probably colors my view.
It definitely depends on the people involved. I met my husband when I was 21. We are both pretty kind, mellow and down to earth people, and it has worked because we had a lot of family support. It’ll be 9 years this October.
Still, usually, young relationships don’t last. A lot of people don’t know who they are, really, or what they want, so dating becomes part of the journey to figure that out.
A cut above – so true. I hate to say it, but I was a very immature 22. I had this dream life in my head, and I met Mr. Right On Paper, and I just ignored all the signs that he was a jerk. I thought love could fix everything or something dumb like that. I’m sure you were much more mature, plus did not marry a jerk. So it never pays to generalize.
I was engaged at 22 and I am thankful to this day that I broke it off. I wasn’t ready for marriage and my fiancé had problems that I was naive about when the relationship began.

My theory, and only a theory, is that she got the attention she craves by dating a Kennedy. When that went south she had to do something else thus the pictures with her tits hanging out. Back to the tried and true way for her to get attention.

There’s essentially zero evidence that he bats for the other team and piles that he’s straight. Every up and coming actor with a pretty face is deemed gay at some point; Patrick was no exception.

I feel the same way. She’s exhausting sometimes, but she’s like a sister that I have to love. And I can kind of understand why she chopped all her hair off and went a little crazy. You could tell in photos that she was head over heels for Liam, but he never seemed as interested. If my fiancé/the “love of my life” (even though she was very young) cheated on me (there were rumors that he treated her pretty badly as well), the pain would probably make me act out too. So I agree with you in that it’s terrible that she was cheated on again. But I’m sure she’s stronger this time around. I hope she finds someone that can vibe with her zany soul and love her the way she needs to be loved.

I used to think she was so cute. I have a hard time looking at her. She leaves nothing to mystery.

I don’t think there is any evidence either boy cheated on Miley, she had relationships that didn’t work out for obvious reasons. She’s young and immature and she’ll get over it. She needs to “date” and find someone who suits her lifestyle, a college boy or an actor are just poor choices for her. Also both of these “boyfriends” come from traditional families, and those families obviously don’t want their precious sons wasting their time with Miley.
