“Taylor Swift tried to reason with some friendly, adorable sheep” links

Important lessons from today: 1) Sheep are impossible to reason with. 2) Sheep are rude.

A video posted by Taylor Swift (@taylorswift) on

Taylor Swift posted this Instagram where she’s trying to “reason” with some sheep. But those sheep just seem sweet and friendly, why not pet them? [Seriously OMG WTF]

I thought sheep video was cute.

I have an uncontrollable desire to break out the barber’s shears in that header pic, it’s palpable. She looks like one of those color me pretty dolls (I made that name up) I used to play with as a kid that you could put makeup on and give horrible haircuts to.

    • Kitten says:

I wish I could watch it. Farm animal friends are awesome.

How tall is Sarah Hyland? She looks so mini. I’m glad she ditched the extensions. I hope extensions are finally out of style.

    • Macey says:

I just read in our local newspaper that Taylor shot that video in my home town and she’s still here from what Im reading. Rumor is she is preparing for a show at Rock Lititz, literally 5 minutes from my work. Someone said they spotted her at Burger King.
Can’t say Im a fan of her music but I like her.

  2. Abbott says:

I love the Kristen Stewart photos but for the wrong reasons. The one with the headline ‘Kristen Stewart: Loving Life!’ with a photo of her looking like Jon Snow coming off a four day bender and crying to some Lana Del Rey?

    COME ON.

    • mimif says:

      Lol Loving Life (on barbituates)!

    • paola says:

She looks dead. If this is what she looks like when she’s loving life i don’t really want to know what she does in those no days that everyone has once in a while.

    • mia girl says:

Her expression in this photo tells me that she’s being pinned down by the invisible weight of her own apathy. That, or she just had a really good bowel movement.

PS Abbott, not sure if you meant it this way but read your “COME ON” in the voice of Chris O’Dowd in Bridesmaids.

  3. Rhiley says:

Yeah, I want to hug and pet those sheep.

    • Lauren says:

It’s hilarious how one of the sheep dismisses her with a ~blehhhh~ response. Notice how they run away from Taylor? Animal instincts are spot on.

      • Wren says:

Sheep run away from anything and everything, so that itself isn’t much of a commentary on TS.

  4. Kiki04 says:

I normally like Jon Stewart, but CNN did an excellent job of reporting on the anarchy going on in my city last night, so I’m not sure I agree with his criticism here……….

    • Kiddo says:

I was watching the Guardian’s coverage last night online. They had really intimate portraits of people on the scene where the church community center was on fire. The reporter may even have shot it on his phone.

    • Dante says:

His criticism is valid because he was referring to their non-coverage on Saturday. in fairness, none of the networks seemed to be covering the protests on Saturday.

  5. taterho says:

“Shut it TAY TAY and give me foooooood!”

The CNN coverage had me screaming at the TV last night. I was completely done when Don Lemon asked what the sound coming from the background was. Is it a generator? Is it a motorcycle?
It’s a helicopter. You know. The CNN helicopter?

  6. Katy says:

I’m jealous of Amy Schumer!! How fun it must be to be friends with Tilda Swinton – she is so….unearthly. It’s hard to describe the effect she has on me. It almost feels like if I were to touch her, my hand might just go right through her!! She doesn’t seem like a mire human. (Am I spelling that right?) 🙂

    • MtnRunner says:

SWINTON is my fantasy BFF. I have a dream of a standing date of afternoon tea at 4p every day with her. *le sigh*

  7. Jay says:

Googled Michelle Keegan… Not sure if the boobage is real but dat body is motivating me to go for a run right now! =P

    • TrixC says:

She says they’re real and I believe her – gorgeous girl, kind of what Emily Ratawhotsit is aspiring to be but never will.

  8. JenniferJustice says:

She was actually looking for the goat in that mock “Trouble” video. He knew she would confront him about making fun of her and then she’d write a song about him treating her badly, so he hid.

    • Benchwarmer says:

I thought of the Trouble parody video too bec. my oldest loved that one a little too much and ruined the song for me. I think they were making her nervous bec. she says “here’s the thing” three times in a row. I love when she said they were hand gestures, too funny!

    • taterho says:

I can’t stop cackling at the sheep with the ear tag that walks away…then “BLAHHHHH”. So friggen cute.

  9. J Stone says:

Not to worry, there are plenty of sheep who live and die by every word she says – they are called Swifties.

  10. BooBooLaRue says:

Oh you mean Taylor was talking to her fans?

  11. jferber says:

Super cute. On an unrelated note, I just read that Joni Mitchell is in the hospital in a coma. She’s only 71. What happened? Also, she’s been battling Morgellons disease for the past 8 years. I’m wishing her all the best. If it were Bob Dylan, her peer, it would be on the front pages of every paper.

    • mimif says:

Oh no…again? Sadness. I love Joni. CB covered this in the links last time she was hospitalized, I believe. Best wishes to her, prayers for a speedy recover.

  12. Naddie says:

Those sheeps… So damn cute and I can’t have one!

  13. JLo says:

Anyone else not buying Spanx feminist messages? The whole reason the company exists is because of the sexist standard that women must look a certain way to be attractive.

    • Wren says:

Yeah, I’m not either. I mean, I get wanting to look your best and if shapewear helps you do that, go for it. I’m not above enjoying the visual effect of smoothing out some of my lumps and bumps. But lets not pretend that said shapewear would even exist if people weren’t following the “rules”.
