Is Gwyneth Paltrow full of peasanty fillers, Botox & Restylane?

FFN_GG_CelebsOut_052115_51750879

Here are some assorted photos of Gwyneth Paltrow over the past week – the striped shirt pics are from LAX (she flew back to LA after a few days in NYC) and the black jumpsuit photos are from the after-party for the Red Nose Day event (which Goop attended last week). In case you’re zoning in on Gwyneth’s face in these photos, you’re not alone. Radar claims that Gwyneth has been getting some noticeable “work” done lately.

Gwyneth Paltrow has committed some heinous fashion faux pas over the years, but she has never been considered anything but a natural beauty – until now. Plastic surgeons speaking to Radar Online reckon the actress has had a pinch or a lift or two in recent months. The experts, who have not treated Gwyneth, think that the 42-year-old mom of two had Botox injections, among other things.

Tony Youn, M.D., told the gossip site that, “Gwyneth’s face looks softer and more youthful than ever before.”

He added that her smoother complexion is likely to be the result of Botox and Restylane injections.

Another expert, celebrity aesthetic specialist Zara Harutyunyan, D.O.M., R.N., with Cosmetic Rejevenation, told the site that, “It looks like she had volume replacement on cheeks with the help of dermal fillers such as Juvederm Voluma XC.”

[From In Touch Weekly]

Believe it or not, Gwyneth doesn’t regularly goop on and on about being “natural”. She’s said that’s open to plastic surgery in the past (and I believe she’s gotten modest breast implants), and she’s also experimented with Botox before (she admitted that she “tried” it but said she would never do it again). I don’t actually think Gwyneth aims to look like a 20-year-old – she seems to want to look like a well-maintained 40 year old, which is somewhat refreshing. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets some Botox and fillers, but so far… she seems to not overdo it.

Also, here’s another fun fact about Gwyneth and Tracy Anderson’s new food service line: you can order “frosting shots,” like a shot glass full of frosting, but the frosting is “going to be made without all of the processed things that really hurt us.” They will also be selling cookies, but Tracy says, “I’ve figured out how to make the best cookies that have no gluten, no soy, no dairy, no nuts, no eggs — all the main allergens.” I really don’t get it. How can you call this stuff FROSTING and COOKIES?

If she is they owe her her coins back, cause……

  2. Jayna says:

God, no. I give her credit. There’s too many photos of Goopy sans makeup out in the sunlight and she has lines and even somewhat loose skin and not puffed out cheeks.

    • Mary-Alice says:

Agree. She doesn’t have a fillers’ face at all, she is simply about six months past her last laser. She does Thermage, so do I and it erases a lot. If she tolerates higher range of the laser than me, she would have a baby skin in six months and she most probably does go higher or takes painkillers (many women do in the studio where I go and I will next time too). The Thermage also forces the underlayers to re-produce collagen and of course the face looks plumper. It’s refilled.

Unless your doc sets the machine at a wrong strength and irreversibly burns deep layers of your skin… I’ve seen some bad pictures.

  3. Jaded says:

She needs an injection of STFU. And Tracy does too.

  4. frisbeejada says:

Well she is full of it…

  5. minx says:

I have to say that I color my own hair at home with L’Oreal, always have. It’s around the same shade as hers.
I’m assuming she pays a lot of money to get her hair colored.
She’s not getting her money’s worth, because mine looks about the same as hers.

    • Kym says:

I have a friend (who’s stunning to begin with) and she uses L’Oreal to get that same shade and it comes out gorgeous every time.
My natural hair color is much closer to that shade than hers but it comes out bronze-ish every time. :/
May I ask..do you just follow the instructions as directed? I can’t remember the shade she uses but I know it’s just the plain old preference brand.

      • Wren33 says:

I think people can have very different undertones to their hair. My hair basically turns orange no matter what I use if I lighten it at all, even professionally. The only way to get it not orange/bronze is to bleach it first.

      • minx says:

I think I use Lightest Natural Blonde. I may vary here and there.
I only do my roots, never the whole head. And I never blow dry my hair, only air dry it.
L’Oreal has a tube of conditioner that they put in the box that is the best stuff EVER. I ration it out and use it long after I’ve colored because it makes my hair so soft and shiny.
And yes, I guess I follow directions, although as I said I never do the whole head.

      • Kym says:

        Thank you Wren and Minx!

It probably is the undertones then. I just can’t afford to get my hair done professionally anymore. I was dropping $200 every 21/2-3 months. It came out great but there always seems to be some other expense coming up and when it comes down to it – it’s hair lol.
My hair turned this weird but beautiful shade of redish dirty blond due to taking a certain medication. It was very odd. I had to choose between really great hair or zapping noises in my head side-effects though…20 years ago vanity would have had me endure

      • minx says:

Kym, I’m the same. I actually went once to a salon to get my hair colored. I came home and it looked exactly the same as using the $8 box of L’Oreal.
L’Oreal and Great Clips–and my hair looks about the same as Paltrow’s lol!

      • Kym says:

You are so lucky that your hair takes to it well! Maybe I should just try to find a brand that makes a really good very light reddish brown. Ah hell, I’ll still screw it up somehow.

I never thought I’d feel sorry for hair..but imagine being attached to that vapid head? I can imagine her in front of a mirror, brushing her hair for hours like Marcia Brady.

  6. perplexed says:

She looks the same to me. I don’t like her complexion (or her personality), but she’s always had good bone structure.

Her eyebrows do kind of bother me in that top pic.

  7. Kitten says:

Definitely fillers. Subtle job, but I’m 100% sure that she’s gotten some light work done to her face.

  8. Kym says:

She has always had a wonderful figure.
I would never call her a beauty though..natural or unnatural.

  9. Birdix says:

Who puts soy in cookies? Maybe Goop has gained a bit of weight–that’ll soften your face too.

  10. Tough Cookie says:

Those sound like the worst cookies ever.

    • Kym says:

It should be illegal to mess with cookies like that.

    • lucy2 says:

I’ve been re-watching Friends on Netflix, and that reminded me of Phoebe spitting out a cookie and yelling “Those are the cookies they serve in hell!”. Sounds about right.

    • Jaded says:

Like eating a piece of MDF.

  11. Bridget says:

Restalyne? How gauche. Gwyneth only uses organic, locally sourced, unicorn farts.

  12. Beckysuz says:

Oh my lord. My sister once asked me to make her some cookies with no flour, sugar or dairy. I told her no, that goes against everything I believe in. If you want a cookie eat a bloody real cookie. If you’ve got allergies that prevent you from having those things then ok, otherwise you’re just annoying and need to stop. Also there is NO substitute for real buttercream. I could happily swim in a pool of buttercream frosting…I’d dive in headfirst with my mouth open 🙂

  13. Dr.Funkenstein says:

Lawdy, who cares? This woman is exhaustingly self absorbed. I shall ignore her out of spite alone.

  14. Samtha says:

I don’t know…there were recent pics on Instagram of her with some friends. She didn’t have any makeup on and her face did not look Botoxed.

  15. Bridget says:

Good lord, what dos Tracy Anderson think is in frosting in the first place? It’s butter, sugar, a little cream, and whatever you’re flavoring. I shudder to think about tasting her frosting or cookies.

  16. FingerBinger says:

Who would want a frosting shot?

  17. Nikki L. says:

Her hair is terrible. You can tell she doesn’t eat properly. Orthorexia, eh?

  18. Annie says:

Oh Goop, girl; botox and fillers are soooo new money.

  19. ChatonMal says:

The pro secret to getting the light blond w/o the brass is to buy the 2oz L’oreal color at the beauty supply. Small bottle of 40 developer ( it must be fresh to get the lift) mix 4 oz of the 40 dev to 2 oz of the color. It’s way cheaper than buying the boxed kit. You can always buy a small packet of Light Activator for 7th stage, about $1 & sprinkle some in your mix. Or make a small batch w/light activator & strategically place thin highlights a/you color fold in tinfoil heat w/hair dryer so you don’t get that unicolor Dumbeth sports.

    • Kym says:

Ooooh look at you! Thank you for that awesome tip Chatonmal! The only beauty supply near me requires a professional license (it used to anyways) but I bet i could nab some online easily enough.
I’ll give it a try.. It’s not like I have a boyfriend that might be horrified right now 😉 best time to experiment!

  20. Gg says:

She has a completely different nose too! I saw a picture of her 2007ish when she was pumping out kids and she has a completely different face. I think she had a major life change starting around 2008-2010- got back into movies, hooked up with Tracy, met Brad Fullofshit, started her open marriage, and completely overhauled her appearance.

  21. anon says:

I was watching se7en the other day and my god she used to really be breathtakingly gorgeous.

Shame she had to resort to botox like all the others but I guess Hollywood puts immense pressure on aging women in the business.

  22. Jupiterinlove says:

I don’t know how many of you are Doors fans, but that is Ray Manzarek’s doppleganger in the second photo with her!

  23. Iheartgossip says:

    Clearly.

I don’t understand how she can be so controlled about what she feeds herself and her family. And how she can religiously exercise for ‘health’, but she is willing to inject botulism into her body??? So confused.
