Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out and about in NYC on Monday, just hours after they confirmed Kim’s second pregnancy. (Note: I’ll be posting the CFDA photos later this morning!) Kim really planned out her pregnancy announcement too, she was easily working on this pregnancy rollout for two whole months. And then Caitlyn Jenner stole her thunder! It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it? But you know what? I’m going to give Ol’ Katface Kardashian an early baby shower gift: the gift of the benefit of the doubt. I think Caitlyn legitimately stole Kim’s thunder, but I have some doubts as to whether Kim was or is really mad about it. Kim may be a narcissistic train wreck, but she does love Caitlyn and I believe Kim’s support is real. She even tweeted yesterday about Caitlyn’s cover:

So, is she mad? Or does she realize that Caitlyn can get attention but she (Kim) will still get loads of attention too? And trust me, if Kim’s maternity style is still as terrible as it was during her first pregnancy, Kim is TOTALLY going to get attention. We won’t be able to stop ourselves. I’m gleeful just thinking about Kim trying to work a Balmain maternity couture onesie. YAY!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT. Oh, and this just came out too: Kim helped pick out the “glam team” for Caitlyn’s VF shoot. So, yeah, she’s not mad about it.
As for how long we can enjoy Kim’s second pregnancy… TMZ says that Kim is three months pregnant now and she’ll be giving birth “this winter.” Probably a December birth.
PS… Here’s another hope/wish for this pregnancy: I hope Kanye spends more time with Kim this time around. He was largely MIA (in Paris) during her first pregnancy.

Kim at times dresses in clothes that does not flatter her shape or are too tight, but maybe more snark should be sent Kanye’s way. PAOLA I second your conspiracy theory. Maybe it took until now for the surrogate to get pregnant. I still believe Beyonce faked her pregnancy, so of course KK will do the same. She hated every minute of being pregnant – plus she never seemed to make the connection between body changing and creating life. She just complained!
I’m just going to add that pregnancy effects people differently and is a very personal experience that is singular. No two pregnancies are the same.
I’m not sure if the people who are saying what it’s like or was like for Kim are mothers themselves, but it doesn’t seem that way at all. For one, your body can blow up one pregnancy and you can be all baby the next. It just depends on a shit load of things.
She may not blow up this time. And if she doesn’t, judging by the commentary here, it will be a lie that she’s carrying her own child. So even if she shows up in someone’s pool with a baby bump in the middle of July, the consensus will be that she’s wearing a really good prosthetic bump? :-/

Maybe we don’t have all the answers. I never think the public really knows the Kardashians even if they are known as a family who seemingly tells their fans everything. I think there is a big part of their private lives we’re not even aware of.
The pregnancy announcement will air on June 28 according to Wikipedia, thus maybe it was filmed at a later time. She IS pregnant, not a surrogate here.
Kind of early isn’t it to accuse Kim of hiring a surrogate? I doubt she’s doing that. She had no qualms whatsoever, before she announced her new pregnancy, about hiring one if she couldn’t get pregnant herself. It was no big deal. So to think she’s going to lay this big cover-up on people that she’s not carrying it herself is really ridiculous.
I think she was the one family member early on to recognize that staying close to Caitlyn would make her even more famous.
I agree, sort of. One part of me thinks Kim really loves Caitlyn and was supportive, another part thinks she understood the importance of having a good public approach with her.

She got many attention on her 1st pregnancy and now after all the infertility drama she was supposed to get even more. But instead of seeing all the headlines about her “miracle baby” (insert eye-roll here) she had to witness how most sites wrote more articles about Caitlin. And how famous people that ignores her publicly support Caitlin. So of course she is pissed off but won’t show it cause with all the support Caitlin is getting and her growing popularity… Even dumb Kim knows it would play against her.

Maybe I’m a terrible person, but I’ve had friends who struggle with infertility. Taking 12 months to get pregnant can happen to couples with no issues. It certainly seems like a drop in the trying for a baby bucket compared to my friends’ struggles. Obviously money plays a part, but I know a couple whose IVF was covered by their insurance and it still took nearly six years for them to conceive.
Congrats to Kim and Kanye, but can we stop acting like this is some long awaited miracle?
I totally agree. I have a good friend who has been trying for FIVE YEARS so I hated to hear about Kim’s “struggles”. It did seem like a normal period of time and they have every resource available to them so I don’t feel like Kim had a problem either.
Kim also said she had fertility problems before North was born yet North was conceived literally just 2 months after Kim stopped her birth control. She now got pregnant not even 2 years after the birth of her first child.
My kids are six years apart. Secondary infertility was very difficult and my second is a result of my second IVF cycle. I find her struggles as real as I find her ass.

Oh my God, thank you. I would have gotten on my knees and kissed the ground if I’d gotten pregnant in a year. I know this is ridiculous, and I’m sort of kidding, but I feel betrayed by that manipulative lie. My heart went out to her, I was feeling all sorry for her as recently as last WEEK and she’s been pregnant for months. I mean, I don’t begrudge anyone a baby, heaven knows, but don’t play on my sympathy like that when there isn’t any reason. A year is perfectly normal. Grrr
I wonder does California have the rule that my home state of Florida does where one must live as the gender they wish to be for a year to see if they could handle it and undergo therapy before getting any type of surgery. (Not saying that it’s right or wrong but the time frame from “coming out” to “now” was very short)
That doesn’t have to be a public declaration though. I’m sure he has been out to his family for some time and living his life as a woman behind closed doors and even out in public and we just didn’t know it – which he basically stated during his Diane interview. I think it’s a case by case and the fact that he is in the public eye probably had something to do with the time frame and all that.

If the whole family hadn’t already proved that they are utterly calculating about everything they do, I might be less suspect, but I’m pretty sure she is miffed that Caitlyn bumped her big announcement off the headlines. But she shouldn’t have too much to worry about-she has 9 months of terrible maternity fashion choices ahead in order to grab some of it back. I admit, I will be looking at her ankles for confirmation-after what looked like an uncomfortable pregnancy with North (no doubt hampered by aforementioned bad fashion choices), I could easily see her faking it and using a surrogate instead.

Maybe I’m a little naive, or too trusting, but I doubt she has any control over when the announcement was made. The plan was probably always to announce via the preview, and I truly doubt E! is allowing her to decide when these things are happening, just like I doubt E! knew Caitlyn’s cover would be released a mere 12 hours after Kim’s announcement.
It’s probably in her E contract that all important announcements etc. must be done through their show. They recently signed new contracts. I wonder how Kanye feels about this as he hates Kim’s reality show lol. Either way, it all comes down to money. This family gets paid to do anything and everything by E.
100%, without even another argument, a surrogate is carrying this baby. She used the years/months of “infertility” talk to allow time to get that process safely rolling and ensure the steps of her timed announcement and then fake bump (like her idol Beyoncé) were believable. Kim had drastic plastic surgeries after North to “regain” her body, and she will absolutely never carry another baby. Do I believe she wants another child? Yes. Do I believe she’d allow her body to go through all the changes a pregnancy (especially a SECOND pregnancy) brings? No. Someone also said that they thought Kanye wouldn’t allow another woman to carry his precious spawn. For sure, the appearance of Kim’s body is more important to him (AND HER) than carrying a baby. Yes, it will be 100% genetically theirs and probably look just like adorable North, but Kim is not carrying and delivering the baby.
It’s only been a year. It just seems longer because she was talking incessantly about it.

Holy moly, Caitlyn Jenner has 2.02 million followers on Twitter. No one was talking about Kim’s pregnancy. She dragged that whole thing out on the Kardashians show, that who cared anyway. I’m sure she was furious the business day after the Sunday announcement that the Caitlyn Jenner cover stole her thunder. Hell, she hid her bleached hair until the big reveal in Paris. Everything is about publicity. I find it hard to believe she’s really pregnant anyway and rarely believe conspiracy theories, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she has a surrogate.

A cover on Vanity Fair gets planned months in advance. Months. So the whole family would have known yesterday was Caitlyn’s debut. Yet, Kim’s pregnancy announcement happens at the same time? I think this was Kim trying to steal Caitlyn’s thunder, not the other way around. She could have announced the pregnancy last week, next week, whenever she wanted.

I think there’s debate about that. Someone really worried about fertility issues would be extra cautious, I would assume.
It’s so hard to sort out Kim’s lies. She had a piece of placenta removed at such a late date after birth and didn’t have any awful symptoms that generally quickly accompany retained placenta (and nobody noticed a piece was missing at the birth, despite her pricey medical care)? She’s been doing IVF but traipsing around the world rather than staying in one place for treatments and monitoring? Not to mention all the waist training and “losing weight” and plans to lose more and all the toxic treatments/procedures she’s been doing. And the fact that she is allegedly pregnant before her first child is even two years old, which seems rather on schedule rather than a fertility crisis. She is indeed a mystery.
But I wonder about her talk about an embryo not attaching- IF she really is pregnant and IF it’s a boy, I wonder if they have been doing IVF not because of her most likely non-existent fertility problems but rather to select a male embryo? So that’s what they have been distracting everybody from? If it’s a surrogate who is pregnant, I would have to wonder the same thing if it’s the boy she said Kanye wanted so much that if it’s a girl – they’re going to keep reproducing until they get it right.
I refuse to hate on any pregnant woman’s style because being pregnant can suck and its incredibly hard to feel comfortable in anything.
Kim’s sister Kourtney always looks good, including while pregnant. Kim should just hire Kourtney as her pregnancy fashion consultant. With tons of money, it really shouldn’t be a problem both being as comfortable as possible and looking good. Regular people just have limits on what the budget can stand for maternity clothes.
If Kim really is pregnant, I hope she doesn’t repeat her behavior last time. She needs to slow down, minimize the jet lagging, do what she can to minimize swelling and other discomfort, and stop trying to squeeze her poor feet and the rest of her body into shoes and clothing that are too small. It hurt just to look at her pictures the last time.
