I didn’t care for her in True Detective and I usually love every film she’s in. Her Teue Detective acting seemed “one-note” sullen, play sullen, portray sullen, sullen.
She’s a very pretty woman, the dress does nothing for her though.

Her hair just washes her out. She is nothing special with that hair color. I don’t know why she gravitates towards it. But with a richer, deeper hair color or a hair color with some lowlights, at least, added in, she is spectacular. Her skin and eyes and lips just pop, like in this photo. What a difference.

UGH that dress is hideous. More Marvel movies? All the actors in this movies just want to make big bucks and most of them aren’t great actors.
I don’t know if it’s that these people aren’t great actors, but more to the fact that these comic-book movies don’t require them to act.
These movies rely solely on special effects that why everything else is half a$$ed and the fans are ok with that and don’t demand more from it.
Career boosts more than big bucks. Marvel paychecks are quite small compared to other big productions.

I think only RObert Downey jr get back ends and make good money at Marvel. Everyone else, not so much.

This almost feels like some modern-day Colonialism: We’ll go show our movie, bring our cast, have a party in Canada because it’s cheaper–but never forget the locals are second class.
So what IS the deal with Spotlight cast shutting out local media? Especially Michael Keaton. This really disappoints me–it reflects poorly on the heart of the movie.
