Did Michael Fassbender throw shade at Ashton Kutcher’s version of Steve Jobs?

wenn22973434

Here are some photos of Michael Fassbender at this weekend’s New York Film Festival premiere of Steve Jobs. I still think his most recent haircut was a HUGE mistake. All of a sudden, I’m seriously worried about his hairline too. I mean, would he still be attractive if he was bald? Sure. Of course. But it wouldn’t be the same.

Guess who came out for the premiere? Alicia Vikander! The last we heard, Us Weekly’s sources said they broke up and Gossip Cop’s sources (Alicia’s publicist) said that they were still happening. Alicia’s presence on the NYFF red carpet means they’re still together. Either that or she’s stalking him. No, they’re almost definitely still together. Chica is really powering through, right? Like, does she have a vision of his-and-her Oscar nominations and walking the awards show carpets together? Because I’m pretty sure that Fassy isn’t That Guy.

Meanwhile, at the NYFF press conference for Steve Jobs, Michael threw some shade/made a joke about Ashton Kutcher. Kutcher played Jobs in the critically-panned 2013 bio-pic (Jobs) and so when Michael was asked about how he prepared for this role, he “smirked” (that’s the word The Guardian used) and said: “I studied Ashton Kutcher.” OUCH. Fassy also reiterated the fact that no one should come to him with technology questions: “I’m not very interested in technology. I use it pretty poorly. So everything was new to me, to be honest.”

I believe that Ashton’s performance was the best thing about that film. Maybe Michael genuinely meant what he said about studying it.

    • RocketMerry says:

I agree, he WAS good in the role. Not groundbreaking, but good; he convinced me that he was Jobs in all scenes, so I was satisfied with his performance.
The movie did lack something, though; the script wasn’t intriguing enough, maybe? I don’t know. But Ashton was good.

      • SunGlass Aready says:

Please all remember, that Ashton, has 7M followers on the net, compared to Michael’s what?. Ashton is likeable, bankable and gives a consistent message to his fanbase. IMO no shade was intended by Michael, it was a stupid joke. However, the PR guys at Universal must be shaking in their boots following the Sorkin debacle of last week.
Kasier, the hairline in not a problem for me but seriously is MF r-e-a-l-l-y 38. Its more the lines in the face.

      • Bridget says:

You do realize that it turns out that a huge portion of the followers on celebrity accounts aren’t actually real users? It turns out that the number of real, verified users is much, much smaller.

And I disagree. Ashton Kutcher is neither likeable nor bankable; he’s a pretty face that was an early adopter of Twitter and has used that to give himself a reputation of being tech savvy (the business connections he made through Demi Moore helped him out way more there than anything he ever did on his own). Shade was definitely intended by the Fassbender, though I also doubt that the powers that be are shaking in their boots – people that have watched the movie are going crazy for the movie as a whole, Fassbender and Winselt (and this pains me to admit this, because I loathe Aaron Sorkin).

      • Neah23 says:

        @ SunGlass Aready

I have to laugh at your comment on Ashton. What does having 7m fallowers have to do with anything? I mean really is that how you value a person worth? Ashton is not bankable most of his movies flop as do a lot of his other projects. As for him being likable I’m not seeing it, but that’s just a personal opinion.

      • evermore says:

Fassy always strikes me as sleezy.

      • Bridget says:

Ha, those 7 million followers definitely didn’t go see Jobs!

      • sunglasses aready says:

@Bridget. Thanks for your insightful info regarding fake/not real followers on celebrity accounts. Your point makes sense. Why would a celebrity bother going through all that trouble. Image. What percentage of followers are would be PR.

    • evermore says:

I liked Ashton Kutcher in the Jobs film, I thought he did a good job. The script could have been better, but Ashton was good. IMO

      • hogtowngooner says:

Agreed, he was surprisingly good. Helps that he really looked like Jobs too. But the movie itself was pretty meh. Seemed to be missing something.

  2. Caro says:

Ugh. He can go to hell. His low class comment regarding Ashton Kutcher says more about him than it does Ashton. There’s nothing worse than having no humility, and being a crappy little human being who’s just not nice…I don’t care how talented he is or thinks he is. At the end of the day, most actors and plenty of Oscar nominees/winners even, have little power and just sit around waiting on the phone to ring. He needs to check his arrogance.

    • Mia4S says:

Watch the full Q&A. It was part of an ongoing joke about how he looks nothing like Jobs. As usual though the Internet makes a story out of one sentence. Ugh.

That said, let’s be honest: he’s 1000000000X the actor Kutcher is.

      • Caro says:

        @Mia4S

        …and point missed.

You’re being deliberately obtuse. This isn’t about who the better actor is, this is about how big of a rude gaping unpleasant a-hole gas-binder is.

He knew exactly how his name dropping of Kutcher would be taken. He wanted exactly that reaction. Letting his own work speak for itself wasn’t good enough for the tool, he wanted to kick some other actor in the teeth.

If it was a true misrepresentation you would have clarified. Kaiser didnt seem confused. Have a seat.

      • Mia4S says:

Two different statements. If you watch the whole Q&A he talks about Bale too. Both of them look way more like Jobs. The Kutcher line was clearly a joke and continuation of that point.

Part two is me embracing my inner celebitchy in that Kutcher is a tool and a dreadful actor so I wouldn’t care if Fassbender actually was shading him. Fassy’s no saint but at least he has the insane talent. This site ain’t cele-nicely by the way. 😈

    • Josefa says:

So just because he made a joke about an actor nobody takes seriously, who starred in a well known failure of a movie universally panned by critics, in the context he doesn’t look at all like Steve Jobs, he can’t be considered a nice person?

Shocking news: Some people aren’t that sensitive and don’t care so much about this type of jokes. Ashton strikes me as the kind of dude who’d pay no mind to this.

      • Don't kill me I'm French says:

But Kutcher was good as Jobs. Not incredible but good.
The movie was cheap but Kutcher must be ashamed of his performance

      • sunglasses aready says:

IMO it was a stupid joke.
But the PR people at Universal must be thinking what next after Sorkin’s war of words aimed at Apple last week. Do not forget that Ashton has 7M followers.
Kaiser, the hairline is not a problem it the lines in the face. Seriously is Michael re-a-l-l-y 38?

      • Josefa says:

I’m not saying the joke was clever, I’m saying it was not a big deal.

  3. LAK says:

Is it the current LV collection or does she (nee her stylist) pick the worst of the LV collections to dress her?

    • cr says:

That really is a horrible dress, isn’t it? It’s a very pretty color, and that’s it.

      • NUTBALLS says:

I look forward to this trend of showing the undercrackers being over. I love the color, though.

    • alice says:

LV does have a, let’s put to this way: weird collection. I don’t think it’s ugly. I just think it’s not aimed to a 26 year old like Alicia, and I keep thinking why on earth those luxury brands that mostly have clients that are middle aged and wealthy working women still think that young stars like JLaw, Kristen Stewart, Alicia Vikander are the right testimonials for luxury brands aimed, like I said, to a demographic that has nothing to do with those girls. Chanel, Dior, LV’s clients are women that would feel more related and identified with testimonials that express what they are or want to be: powerful, classy, stylish and sophisticated women like Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Robin Wright, Naomi Watts. Alicia Vikander would be the perfect testimonial for something like Converse or Rag & Bone. No shade here, just an observation.

      • minxx says:

Totally agree. She would be much better for something more youthful than LV, she looks like she’s 16. I also hope that Dior fires JLaw’s ass after that last comment about peeing in a sink and smelling like “your mom”… I was checking out a magazine this morning and Dior’s lipstick ad with JLaw made me think of something unsanitary and smelly. Farts, actually.

      • sunglasses aready says:

@alice. Agree with every word you said, however she would struggle to get a gig on a Gap campaign. She not memorable.

      • Original T.C. says:

        @Alice,

Because women don’t like to feel old. They are attracted to advertising directed at them but with a younger face. Runway models are like age 17-30 years old. And all size zero yet older women who look nothing like that buy those clothes anyway.

Older moneyed women see themselves as still young, they don’t want to be catch dead grabbing a copy of AARP or a magazine with older fashion models.

    • SusanneToo says:

      It’s a great color, though.

  4. Jegede says:

That was tacky of him I have to say.

*Now back to only lurking on Fassbender threads*

    • alice says:

Also kind of think that is tacky of him that he never walked an official red carpet with this girl after almost a year of hooking up with her. Let’s be clear, nothing wrong with keep it casual, if that’s what they (he) wants and specially if that’s what she agreed to. But she has to realize that she doesn’t look good this way: sadly there’s no other way to say it, she looks like just a chick he has for this year, next will be another. And I don’t think she wants to be seen like a Kelly Rochback or whatever the name of the Leo new catalog piece is. There’s no shade for Fassy because I believe he doesn’t sell anything that he’s not: he’s not playing the boyfriend material guy so she knows what she’s getting into. Not walking the red carpet with her makes me think he wants out.

      • Nina says:

That’s a really dumb thing to say. why does anyone have to “walk an official red carpet”? I honestly don’t understand this thinking, it completely baffles me.

      • Mia4S says:

Wasn’t GOOP married for 10 years without she and Martin walking a red carpet?

That’s what the conspiracy theorists miss; if this was a PR relationship they would be walking the carpet and being “found” by paparazzi. Bizarrely I think they are actually genuine. I can’t see it lasting, but yeah they’re for real.

      • M.A.F. says:

Umm…they have been photograph at events. Unlike Leo, who runs & hides whenever there is a camera in sight & never brings his girlfriend to an event (and when he did, they broke up shortly there after), Michael has never shy away from the cameras when he is dating someone.

      • minxx says:

I’ve never seen less chemistry and warmth between two people who are supposedly dating. She looks like his daughter and he looks like he couldn’t care less. But whatever, good luck to both of them at the Oscars.

      • FingerBinger says:

@alice You’re reading into it too much. A lot of couples don’t walk red carpets together.

      • NUTBALLS says:

I think it’s a way of not drawing unnecessary attention to their coupling and instead letting the event be about the film. Different strokes for different folks and I don’t think it’s a big deal either way if they walk the RC together or not. It’s nice to see them support each other at their premiers.

      • Ana A. says:

David Tennant and Georgia Moffett have been married for years and have three children. There are no photos of them posing on a red carpet together. Is that also tacky?
Some people take every hook-up to the red-carpet other long-term couples never go together. It’s just the way it is.

      • krens says:

Does anyone else thinks its weird that she walked the red carpet? She is not in the movie…

    • Lara K says:

Alicia is exactly his type, so I’d buy that they are still hooking up. But she is on the way out.
He never walks the carpet with anyone. The day he does is the day I know it’s love.

Back to staring at shirtless pics of Fassy. Id definitely be his temporary fling.

      • Andrea says:

I think she showed up to hook up, end of. I still think its over. He did similar stuff with Zoe afterwards as well.

  5. Abigail says:

They were talking about the fact that he doesn’t look like Jobs. He said Kutcher, everyone laughed, he mentioned Bale next. Not shade, but very clumsy. (Watched the interview on youtube.)

    • arbelia says:

+1000,i saw te Q&A too, and it is definitely a phrase taken out of context. He was mostly joking about his lack of resemblance with Jobs, contrary to Kutcher and Bale.

  6. Priscila says:

Noah Wylie on “the pirates of silicon valley” is the performance hE should have studied.

    • Ellie says:

      THIS.

    • mom2two says:

This X 1,000,000. Wyle was absolutely terrific as Jobs. Jobs was not a fan of Pirates of Silicon Valley as a movie, but even he recognized Wyle was excellent, so much so that he invited Noah to Macworld in 1999 to impersonate him at the beginning of his opening speech. I don’t know if that speech is still on You Tube, but if it is, check it out.
To add: Anthony Michael Hall was fantastic as Bill Gates as well.

    • Don't kill me I'm French says:

      +1

  7. gilmore says:

It’s not really shade if he’s blatantly insulting him though? Kutcher should stick to tech stuff or small tv parts, he’s not much of an actor.

  8. Jenni says:

How many movies about Jobs do we need? Come on. He was not that interesting in my opinion.

    • Don't kill me I'm French says:

My neighbor who is a movie journalist in Belgium is in LA to watch some Oscar bait movies. He said it was a good movie but it is a Sorkin movie,as Fassbender is good as the fact that he doesn’t look like Jobs is a problem ( his accent also) AND Jobs doesn’t deserve 3 movies about him.It was a shitty person(a shitty son,a shitty father,a shitty husband,a shitty boss,a shitty friend)

      • megs283 says:

Yeah. I fully admit that I don’t know much about Jobs, but he didn’t sound like a treat to be around. Have you seen the series The Men Who Built America? It sounds as though all those financial titans – Rockefeller, Carnegie, etc., – were miserable and cut-throat people. Not that I’m excusing his behavior…but I guess focused people who want to change the world (like Jobs wanted to with Apple) are often lacking in the personality and kindness department.

      • Don't kill me I'm French says:

        @meg283:
(The commentary on Jobs as shitty person is mine : I read his biography by Isaacson. I see the journalist is fascinated but I don’t understand why)
But Rockfeller ,Gates and co were philanthropist whereas Jobs never. He was barely generous even with his parents .All he did well is pretty computers.

      • Andrea says:

Belgium men are hot! I saw a movie at TIFF that was Flemish and I absolutely loved it (and meeting the actors afterwards was nice; again they were very attractive). That is all.

  9. Lurker says:

I am really tired of the word shade.

  10. anon says:

I love Fassy. I mean, I adore him but it wasn’t so nice of him to say that. Come on, we ALL know what he meant and WHY he said it. Poor Ashton, he was part of a horrible movie, that’s all. ok , ok, he is not a good actor but he does not deserve this

  11. minxx says:

Alicia Vikander is not going to go away quietly ;). Girlfriend is hungry for sure. She posed on the red carpet as if she had a part in Jobs and made sure to upstage Kate Winslet! Well, all I can say after this display is that she’s definitely dating Fassbender. Not sure about him dating her though 😉 Time will tell.

    • Esteph says:

I agree with you, but she isn’t going away quietly because she wants to tame him. Getting to tame a bad boy is like every girls mission in life IMO (I certainly would love to tame him). I said in a post before that if she isn’t down with the way that he is or how he is as a boyfriend, she should cut her loses because there is most certainly another girl waiting on the side to get her some Fassy

      • minxx says:

This little girl will never “tame” him. He’d have to fall in love for this to happen (if that’s even possible) and the bloom is off this relationship even if there was one to begin with. I’m more inclined to believe they hooked up on the set and the studio liked it for PR purposes – the rest is just her determination to get her name linked with his and not to be the one who was dumped.
With all the hype surrounding her I thought she’s really talented or charismatic – but in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. – Elizabeth Debicki stole the show, imo, I loved her! Far more charismatic than poor Alicia.

      • cr says:

She just turned 27, she’s not a ‘little girl’. They’re dating, you don’t have to like it, because obviously you don’t, but they are.

    • Nina says:

lol you think he’s not dating her or something? He had lunch a couple days ago with Alexander Skarsgard, who is one of Alicia’s good friends. Oh yes, I’m sure it was all just part of her super masterplan.

      • Andrea says:

I think they are like his relationship with Zoe. She isn’t trying to tame him; this is nothing serious for either of them.

      • anon says:

lol how do you know he had lunch with Skarsgard? Wel, ok I believe but so what? So he is dining out with Alicia’s friends so they are EXTREMELY SERIOUS lol

  12. Crumpet says:

I am in love with her dress. The color, everything. Plus I want her body.

  13. Saks says:

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t him super hungry for that “Shame” nomination? From what I remember he was everywhere in cumberlevels at the time. It was until he didn’t get the nomination, that he started that ‘I don’t care’ attitude.

    • Korra says:

He did admit he wanted it and then didn’t get it and he blamed people around him for it. It made him look really childish imo the way he said it.

      • Original T.C. says:

@ Korra, he blamed himself for falling for his own hype/vanity and it was a very insightful answer, hardly childish.” See below

“At the beginning people [say], ‘You’re going to the Oscars,’ and you’re like, ‘Whatever, doesn’t matter, don’t think so.’ But after a while it does penetrate. After a while you’re like, ‘Anyway, so I’m going to the Oscars…’ ” He laughs. “And you start to believe it. And I did. I thought I was going. And then I found out I wasn’t and I was upset. I was very upset by it. The first reaction was ‘What the fuck…?’ ” He sounds frustrated that he had let himself get sucked in. “It’s a vanity thing. It does become important to you. And it shouldn’t.” On reflection, he decided that he had learned something about misplaced priorities. “A good little lesson.”

      • korra says:

Okay sorry. His original statement doesn’t sound as childish as I remembered it to be, it sounds like he’s taking some responsibility for his ego. But I still get the impression that he’s going back to this too cool for school vibe, instead of just saying it didn’t happen that’s okay you know?

      • Bridget says:

He specifically said that he really wanted it and was really disappointed not to get it, and that he learned that he didn’t want to get caught up in that circus again. How is that childish or too cool for school?

Though if he campaigned this year, we could be spared the Leonardo DiCaprio tour – complete with a new bonafide! (She really is one of a kind!)

    • Andrea says:

He should have gotten the nomination for it IMO. Same for 12 years a slave.

    • Bridget says:

He talked about being crushed when he didn’t get the nomination for Shame and not wanting to be in that position again.

  14. Korra says:

Some of the fangirling here is kinda insane. I mean I like the guy but not to this point. And yeah you guys I don’t get why you hate AV so much. Like damn. They’re both willing participants. I doubt fassy isn’t aware of what she wants in life and how ambitious she is. I think fassy’s a talented guy but also a tool who can’t do accents well. He really needs to work on that. I’m worried about that in this movie. I don’t think he sounds that great in the trailer tbh. Always like he’s on the verge. I guess the story’s so good it’s not distracting.

    • Andrea says:

I don’t get why the fangirls are freaking out anyways. It is always casual with Michael.

      • anon says:

They’re afraid he is going to marry her. OMG the horror

      • Andrea says:

Given his history??? Pshhh….She is no Amal..

      • korra says:

@Andrea It makes them look utterly ridiculous. I go on AV threads and I used to not buy that people were jealous of AV, but after some of these comments dang. It’s just more than a little weird.

      • Andrea says:

The likelihood of them even meeting him is slim since he travels so much. I would love to in some alternate universe proposition him, but do I really think it will happen? No. Maybe these people live so deep in a fantasy land because their real lives are so hard that they can’t fathom their fantasy having a gf? I don’t know, if that’s even close to the case, they need to seek counseling..

  15. Nicky says:

Who the hell said they are still together? Weinstein girl is the thirstiest actress I’ve ever seen in Hollywood, of course she would attend his premiere on the day of her b-day. She was in NY to promote Bergman’s doc, she wouldn’t miss the opportunity to be on the spotlight. And she clearly got what she wanted because websites like this one are talking about her instead of the film. Winslet is her contender, she went to the premiere to steal her buzz. She even brought friends and according to an Irish website, she barely talked to Fassbender at the premiere. A couple wouldn’t act like that, sorry.

    • Nina says:

lmao omg Fassaloonies are the WORST. Worse than fans of the other pasty British guys.

      • Andrea says:

        Cumberbatch’s fans are FAR worse!

      • Nicky says:

Really? Or are AV stans the worst? Because they know her idol will disappear from the spotlight if she doesn’t glue to her ex success…if she was so big she wouldn’t do this. I mean, the ONLY guest walking the red carpet was just embarrassing. And thirsty as hell. Poor Kate.

      • Neah23 says:

Have you meet a Twilight fan? Lol

      • korra says:

How about fans in general can be the worst. But seriously. Fassbender has a smaller presence than Cumberbatch…I’m astounded by Fassloonies. I’m legitimately frightened when one day (if that day comes) when Fassbender is a star on Cumberbatch’s level.

@Nicky Not an AV stan, but your own particular thirst for this girl’s demise is just as bad. I should know. I’m a crazy Damon hater. Like DAMN girl. Maybe she’s just doing what every actress and actor does like her. Going to support her movie and sharing in her success with her friends.

      • Nicky says:

@Korra It’s not thirst for her demise, I just don’t like her and her thirst, besides don’t finding anything amazing about her either. It’s my right to express that, I have my arguments. And she wasn’t supporting her movie, she was supporting her friend’s movie by walking the red carpet when any other guest did. It was a thirsy move by her and an inappropriate one. She tried to steal the spotlight from the film, including her friend and his co-star (coincidently her contender), and she totally succeeded. Not nice.

      • Andrea says:

I hope no one tars and feathers me here, but isn’t Cumberbatch and Fassbender on the same level fame-wise? Heck, Cumberbatch had a smaller role than Fassbender in 12 years a slave. I just took it that Cumberbatch has a larger tumblr/online following…

      • korra says:

She’s not the first Weinstein girl. There’s a ton of them. Nor is she the first Weinstein person. There’s a sh-t ton of actors that are on their knees to Harvey for their Oscars and Oscar campaigns or even getting to that level.

That premiere she went to for Bergman’s doc is that where she stole the spotlight? You know she’s in that movie right? So yeah she was promoting it. If people are talking about her, they’re gonna talk about her movies. If it’s someone’s elses premiere then I don’t think she accomplished anything because I can’t seem to find out any of it. If it’s this steve jobs thing…..literally no one really cares that she went there. The movie and the stars will not lose anything by her being there. Sorry you seem as thirsty for her to fall (for something pretty innocuous and harmless really) as much as she’s thirsty to be more well known.

      • Nicky says:

@Korra No. Let me explain it better. She is in NY because she’ll promote Bergman’s doc this week. Saturday was her b-day and an opportunity to make an appearance on her big day by using her friend’s premiere of Steve Jobs (she’s nOT in this film). Nothing wrong in wanting to attend his event, she supported Skarsgard in his latest film too, but I think it was totally exaggerated to walk the red carpet. it stole the spotlight from the film and even her friend and his co-star, who’s actually her contender for the Oscar.

      • Andrea says:

@Nicky This just speaks to me that she is majorly thirsty to be in the spotlight for as long as she can because let’s face it, fame is fleeting and this may be her only push towards it. So what? I’d do the exact same thing if I was in her shoes and I bet most people would too if they wanted it badly enough.

      • Nicky says:

@Andrea I get your point and I agree that any thirsty actress/actors/whatever would use a big event that has nothing to do with them to promote themselves. I also think this is her shot to get a nod and become “more well-known” as she already said earlier this year. On the other hand, I think there’s a limit between campaigning and excessively campaigning. At some point, this thirst of hers might be actually negative to her image. It already is as I’ve seen many questioning why the hell did she walk the red carpet when nobody else did. It was inappropriate in my opinion.

      • korra says:

@Andrea Good point. I guess their appeal is just different media. Either way both fandoms are nuts.

@Nicky Her boyfriend or friend? I don’t think it matters. Many people who aren’t in the movie for something come out and walk the red carpet and get their picture taken all the time. That’s the point of a premiere. It’s to promote the premiere. I doubt anyone on the Jobs film is sitting there annoyed at her. I think you’re just focused on her. I still said above, no one cares that she was there really. Every publication will make sure to mention what event she was attending so I doubt the movie would hurt by her being there. It doesn’t steal the spotlight, the movie and the main actors are still the center of the entire thing. People are just interested in her gossip.

      • Nicky says:

@Korra No again. She walked the red carpet for Macbeth and Sicario in May. That’s fine, huge premiere, Cannes, many guests doing the same. NOBODY walked the red carpet for Jobs besides her. And she and Fassbender aren’t dating anymore, they have reportedly split and this is no evidence they are back together (and there were actual boyfriends and girlfriends that were there and did not walk the red carpet). As I said, her b-day, she’s thirsty, she has supported friends before…why not? I just think it was a very thirsty move and inappropriate one to actually walk the red carpet in a movie that’s hot hers and nobody else did the same.

    • anon says:

“she barely talked to Fassbender at the premiere” ??? Details please. lol

    • Sochan says:

And she’s wearing a horrible dress with see-through bra and grandmother panties, plus her usual arrogant expression. I can’t with this young lady anymore.

      • Andrea says:

Is she even wearing a bra? I can’t tell honestly…And those panties look like bikinis to me, I don’t think they are in the grandma panty territory…I’m not saying I love her, I haven’t seen her in anything I was wow’d by yet, but I wear panties like that LOL

    • Paul Ó Duḃṫaiġ says:

Sunday Independent yesterday in Ireland stated in print that the two of them had broken up. Than again the SINDO is basically tabloid dressed up as a broadsheet.

  16. Pandy says:

I don’t think I’ve seen anything Michael Fassbinder has been in – but LOVE his shot at Kutcher ha ha ha.

    • Andrea says:

Watch Shame, Jane Eyre, Fish Tank, or 12 years a Slave. Those are the best of the bunch.

      • korra says:

Jane Eyre is fantastic. Fish Tank is really good. He is vile in that. Haven’t seen any of his Steve McQueen work which is a …shame.

  17. TreadStyle says:

There are pics with them together on London last week after the jobs premiere there and she did not walk the carpet. I think sometimes significant others choose one location to actually publicly walk a carpet not be in the movie & for her not being very well known I’m surprised she’s only done the New York one, so doesn’t seem that hungry to me. Also there’s photos of Fassbender at one of the Testament of Youth Premiere after parties. So I think they do sneak by people with how much they are actually together. but he seems to go where she is just as much bc there r lots of picture evidence out there in casual settings. One pic I saw was MosDef, Zoe Kravitz, vikander, and Fassbender eating sitting on a sidewalk at Cannes… Like it wa totally normal. That’s all I’ve got!

  18. Sidclaude says:

It reads to me as if Fassy is having a joke. I doubt Ashton and his millions of dollars cares. I saw Macbeth yesterday. An amazing film.

  19. Kitten says:

Looks like Fassy finally caved and whitened his teeth huh…

Sexy man, talented as f*ck actor. Who cares who he dates?

  20. alex says:

Nicole Beharie was the best he got so far.

She was not thirsty for his fame. She got my respect when said through her social media they were no longer dating.

    • Andrea says:

I must concur, she was the best girlfriend he has had thus far (sadly I think he burned her quite badly; probably cheated on her). Even though the show has gotten bad/weird, good for her also on getting her own tv show.

    • Kiki says:

@Alex, I happen to agree with you. Nicole Beharie was the best girlfriend Michael Fassbender has ever had thus far. I don’t think he cheated on her, I still think it is work that came between them. Anyway, I really don’t know. As for “Twinkle Toes” (my nick name form Alicia Vikander), I done know for a fact that she is using this opportunity for make herself ” well known”, and it seem to be working, keep it twinkle toes. Let’s see if it works when she ‘maybe’ nominated for awards season.

    • Leah says:

He seemed to publicly acknowledge Nicole more than the others. I remember him giving an interview where he said he was with an amazing woman or something like that.
I disagree about Vikander though, i think she is ok. Good actress too.

  21. Sochan says:

I never saw the Kutcher version. On principle I don’t watch Kutcher movies. But I will run to see the Fassbender version. He is so talented, captivating to watch onscreen.

    • Cam says:

I agree with you. I did catch the trailer for Kutcher’s version and he was Ashton Kutcher playing Ashton Kutcher (complete with those hand movements and frat boy expressions – sorry if that’s rude but for the lack of a better expression) basically. Insulting to Jobs and a disgrace to the acting profession. Fassbender, on the other hand, is an acting titan. But I still hope Leo wins for The Revenant; poor Leo, he so deserves it. MF will get many more chances.

      • Kiki says:

@ Cam, I am keeping my fingers crossed for Leonardo Dicaprio. The Revanant looks like a really good movies. I beleive Alejandro In what’s his face name will make history by being the first director to win back to back best director and picture. Leo deserves an Oscar, after those harsh conditions and being mauled by a bear. If that doesn’t say OSCAR I don’t know what it’s.

      • alex says:

Leonardo Dicaprio is my bet (I think, it’s his time).

I think Michael Fassbender was disrespectful to Ashton Kutcher. It shows professionalism respecting any colleague from any profession, both are actors in this case. It follows the same style of phrase from the GQ interview when he said he was not a politician, but an actor.

Right now, he is doing even worse, because at least politicians show they are players since from the beginning. He is now pretending to be someone he is not.

To Alicia Vikander, the same. She needs desperately the spotlight. She does not have the ‘Michael Fassbender status’ yet. All she wants is to be in the same position. In fact, she is not special. Well, no one is special in Hollywood.

    • Leah says:

I started watching it but switched off after 20 min, its very rare that finish a movie i started, it really wasn’t very good at all.

    • lisa says:

@Alex If you watch the press conference, you’ll see that his quotes were taken out of context. He was merely talking about their looks.

      • alex says:

I already saw it, thanks. Still, my thoughts hasn’t changed. It was an unnecessary quote. He should be careful in what he says. Period.
