Several months ago, in the heat of the tense divorce negotiations between Bobby Flay and Stephanie March, Flay got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was a big moment, and what could have been a pleasantly memorable moment for the “celebrity chef” was quickly ruined. Ruined by a plane flying overhead with a giant “CHEATER” banner. The plane was perfectly timed for Flay’s ceremony and most people believe that it was aimed at Flay and his wandering eye. March believed (with good reason) that Flay had multiple affairs during their 10-year marriage and most people assumed that March or her lawyers were behind the CHEATER plane banner.
Skip ahead to right now and March walked away with her settlement (she successfully broke the prenup and got an undisclosed amount from Flay) and Flay’s reputation didn’t take a huge hit. But the stunts have not stopped.
Celebrity chef Bobby Flay has been mortified yet again by “cheater” protesters at one of his events. Topless female demonstrators with red letter “X”‘s over their breasts and the word “cheater” painted on their chests caused a ruckus Saturday at “Brunch at Bobby’s with Bobby Flay,” part of the New York City Wine and Food Festival, sources tell InTouch exclusively.

Flay, 50, divorced his third wife Stephanie March in April and has been dogged bycheating rumors ever since.
“The rumor is that Flay is being targeted in these protests by a fundamentalist group from Oklahoma ever since all the cheating allegations from his divorce surfaced,” sources tell InTouch.
In June, 50-year-old Flay became the first celeb chef to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but a plane flying overhead with a trailing red “CHEATER” banner all but ruined the festivities. That protester interrupted Flay as he was giving a speech at the ceremony, attended by both his 19-year-old daughter Sophie Flay and mom Dorothy. The Walk of Fame appearance marked the first time the Food Network star and Iron Chef had been seen in public since his bitter divorce from March.
A fundamentalist group out of Oklahoma? WTF? While I have no doubt that there are probably some people or some groups who take issue with Flay’s reputation as a cheater, I can’t see why or how a group like that would, you know, come to Hollywood to interrupt his Walk of Fame ceremony or travel to NYC just to go topless at the Wine & Food Festival. Topless “cheater” ladies are not very fundamentalist, you know? It seems more like Stephanie March just has a grudge. And it’s funny/petty/glorious/immature.

It does feel petty,but after ten years of mistreatment, I can understand the anger. Yes, I think Bobby is an arrogant prick, but if his ex has come to an agreement and the divorce is final. Then it’s time to move on. I’m not a fan and I avoid his t.v. shows, because I don’t like him as a human being.
I agree it’s very petty as for March according to her claims she knew he was cheating 5 years into the marriage and decided to stay so for me that’s on her.

Hmm. I have mixed feelings. I was so incredibly angry after my divorce, I used to fantasize about killing my ex. I did it in a healthy way (?) though. I would put my hands around his throat and choke him until he got smaller and smaller until his tiny legs kicking made me laugh and I felt better. That’s sort of sick, isn’t it? But I guess I get the intensity of anger that makes you want to fly a cheater plane over his ceremony, while at the same time I think you have to maintain your own dignity and integrity. I would never have done something so childish and public, but part of me thinks it’s funny.
I can totally relate! During my divorce I often had the same thoughts but was glad I too took the “high road” instead.

Well he’s certainly developed a groundswell of cheater-beaters around him hasn’t he! I think he’s cheated with so many women that it could be any one of dozens or just his ruined reputation that’s attracting the nutbars. It may not even be Stephanie, who managed to up the financial ante for his sleazy behaviour, which is the best revenge.

I also have to say that Flay’s reputation has indeed been tarnished. He may still get gigs and the money may still be rolling in, but that doesn’t mean people don’t think very differently of him now. I know I do.
I think the bare breasts were just to make sure the press didn’t report on anything BUT the protest. They were a tactic to spoil his event as comprehensively as possible.

I’m a little surprised at the amount of chutzpah being used for this smear campaign against Bobby Flay. If it’s not her, then I feel for anyone who has it in for him like that. It’s so very bizarre.
I don’t favor him, but I sure as hell don’t favor her either. She annoyed me during the whole case, and he’s always seemed full of himself.
Theory: this does not sound out of the realm of NYC chef battles – at all. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it ended up being someone in the business – either a rival, or an associate who feels screwed over – behind it all.
I think it’s hilarious, sure it’s immature but it’s great entertainment! He’s a cheating jerk and deserves it, it could be his most recent ex wife or one of the many women he cheated with, who knows, but I hope they keep it up.

It could be any number of his side pieces he cheated with. But when you’re such a big streaming pile the number of suspects is huge. The lesson here is be nice to everyone.
Who really has a dog in this fight besides Flay and March? No one else should really care. If the group of protestors aren’t paid by March I’d be very surprised. Serial cheaters don’t really deserve to be protested the same as like dog-fighters or rapists or people who wear fur. Yes, he hurt her. That’s my thinking as well. Why do they care so much? Unless he cheated with one of them, its none of their business. No laws were broken. I never believed their marriage was all that great. It seemed a bit fake on the show. I felt the same with the Neelys. They over did their affections too.
I don’t believe it was Stephanie March. I think it wasn’t covered here, but just a few days after the plane flew over his walk of fame ceremony, it flew over Tiger Woods at a golf outing. What would she have to gain from wasting money doing that?
Why do so many self-righteous holier-than-thou women with so much time on their hands think they have any right to poke their nose into the private lives of other people? Why do they think it is any of their business? Are they trying to deflect something they themselves have done/are doing?
