Several weeks ago, I suggested that Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift might be on track to an engagement. Some of you disagreed! Some of you thought that Tay-Tay and Calvin are already on the outs, even though they really did spend her 25th birthday together at a big industry party in LA. And now this: Tay-Tay and Calvin are spending Christmas together. In Colorado. With HER family.
Taylor happily posted several photos from her Colorado vacation (they’re in Vail). The pics feature snowmen, Calvin and Taylor’s brother Austin. Entertainment Tonight says that Calvin and the Swifts plan on spending the whole holiday there. Can we talk about an engagement now? Please? I mean, I’ve said all along that this will end in tears and blind-item songs. But Calvin has stuck with it, perhaps because he’s as much of a gossip-y drama queen as Taylor. He’s proven that he can be her knight-in-shining tweeter and he’s not ashamed of being seen with her in public. I for one am hoping that Taylor gets an engagement ring on Christmas. Because that way, when it ends, it will be mega-epic. It will fuel three double-albums worth of blind item songs. It will be glorious.
One more thing: Taylor is going to drop her new music video for “Out of the Woods” on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. So… I mean, just prepare yourself for that.

We’re getting at least 3 double albums out of this already. This is a woman who wrote over a dozen songs about a guy she very, very casually dated for a couple of weeks. She’s never had an actual relationship before, just what most (sane) 20-something’s would classify as hook-ups.
She’s still gonna be referencing this in 20 years.
So she’s dropping her Out of the Woods song (which she has stated as being 100% about Harry) on NYE. 3 years after that awkward kiss they shared on camera. And she’s premiering it with the same network and place where one direction will be performing. That’s so incredibly cringe worthy. I wonder if Harry ever regrets hiking up with her or thought that she’d be still dragging it out three years later.
Also, why is she still releasing singles? Is she going to push every song on the album?
Are you serious? Even teeny boppers have to think that is LAME. Like, get over it already,! I hope Harry has a good laugh. She’s just embarrassing herself at this point.
And do you think she made the guys coordinate their jackets in that picture? How do you even go about asking that?

Hang in there Calvin, maybe Taylor will finally reveal that belly button…tee hee. They seem like strange bedfellows…..she’s a odd one but I have to admit I like a couple of her tunes, in particular…I Knew You Were Trouble….the story of my teenage angst. Cepting she was in her 20’s when she wrote it.
I just read a post on tumblr stating Harris was in Vail Co. for a little over 10 hours. LOL He supposedly showed up around 1pm on the 22nd then left at 11pm!!!!! talk about a quickie!!!!!!
So is the thought behind that that he stopped by for the photo op, then set out to do his own thing? What was the proof the post was offering up?
Something about his SM posts. Whatever one that has to be done in real time. There was about 10–10 1/2 hours between his posts. hell, it’s all Greek to me anymore with all the new apps. Thought it was funny that someone would take the time and energy to figure all this out. It’s all PR with these two anyway……
UPDATE: While People mag and other publications have been pushing stories about these two spending the holidays (Christmas) together, CH’s proved otherwise on his social media accounts snapchat and instagram. He was clearly on an airplane late on the 22nd, showing a sunrise in the pic. THAT means he was well on his way to his “home” country Scotland. At the MOST, he spent maybe a day in Vail with her and AT LEAST her brother, his own bodyguard, and Taylor’s bevy of bodyguards. Sound really romantic, doesn’t it? Yesterday he posted another snapchat of him at an airport going who knows where. My point of this update is ALL of these gossip rags will post up any kind of drivel given them. Yeah, I was bored and had a bit of curiosity about why this story has been pushed. It’s ALL PR folks, just PR………

I enjoyed the heck out of 1989, had a good time at the 1989 show I attended, and I’m always more bemused over her antics than anything else. When my friends call her a role model I correct them that she’s a mean girl, but I enjoy that about her. I don’t think Tay Tay could go dark even if she wanted – which I don’t think she does. I think she’s hooked on staying in the public eye, telling stories to her fans to fawn over, and if she’s a Jennifer Aniston type then Calvin/Adam/whoever he is just may be her Justin Theroux – her partner in thirst.
I think it’s partially thirst but more that she has to strike when the iron is hot. Her empire is based on her public image and she can’t afford to stay out of the spotlight for too long.

She’s been famous since she was 16 and knows how to use social media/press. She’s NOT a role model at all-she’s a mean girl in sheep’s clothing, but a smart one. Calvin is the male taylor.

I Agree with this 1000%.
I feel like most people who say this are actually the mean girls. You see yourself reflected in others, after all.
People can think another person is mean without being mean themselves.
This being said, People often have an intense dislike for others with qualities they themselves don’t want to have yet do.
The two do not always go hand in hand though. This is all just social psychology.
Yes her juvenile relationships with both men and women is annoying and much of the music lyrics are the same.But she is one helluva businesswoman and knows how to get the most mileage out of whatever talent she has. Also from what I’ve heard she is generous with fans and charities. Should be what they all do but don’t. The most agregious being the Kartrashians.
Has anyone noticed she got Renee Zellweger-red throughout the years? I mean her eyes are much bigger now compared to couple albums ago (esp. her country music days). It can’t be make up because hers are naturally hooded and people used to say she has “Asian eyes”.
No doubt they’ll definitely get married but they will also end up in a nasty divorce. They both seem like drama queens. If I were her, I’d try to find a more down to earth man rather than this guy because she needs a more grounded guy.

Criticizing tay or calvin isnt going to change anything, plus it isnt going to make you feel any better.
But letting them sink in the abyss they created by their overwhelming thirst for fame and money is far much more interesting.
I am not a fan of taylor because i find her music mediocre and childish. I do not hate her but pity her for she is stuck in a zone where she has to keep repeating the same depressing thing to keep herself relevant.
This seems more like a PR stunt to me. They don’t look like they have any chemistry. They’re both looking out for their careers. Taylor will make a bigger album with the help of calvin. Calvin will become more mainstream & increase his fan base dramatically. Maybe it’s just me but I’m not buying it.
