  4. silken_floss says:

For some reason I was expecting Keanu Reeves to randomly pop up in the trailer

    • Eggland's worst says:

Hopefully he has a surprise cameo in the film. It sure will be worth the money to find out.

    • isabelle says:

Had that same hope, I’m a forever fangirl of him. Love that the kitty is named Keanu, that was the nice surprise. This movie looks funny & yes…cute. Will definitely see it.

    • Ankhel says:

I want a movie like Being John Malkowich, except with Keanu. A day in Keanu’s head, with shenanigans and Keanuesque philosophy.

    • may23 says:

yeah, same here – there’s only ONE Keanu for me. All others are just not Keanu.

    • Mila says:

Me too hahahhaah i clicked on the link because of it ๐Ÿ˜€

      • Hudson Girl says:

        Kitten,
Did you know that it’s legal to buy (and smoke at home only) in Portland, Maine? Can this be true?

      • Kitten says:

        Whaaaat? Since when?

        If true, this is amazing.

      • FLORC says:

        Kitten
True. And for what it’s worth voters of Maine have been voting for the legal use of marijuana for some time. It usually got trumped by federal or state law.

In this case You must be 21 or over. You must consume the product within a private residence. It doesn’t have to be your own, but it’s to make sure it’s not done in public or around minors. And all sale transacctions must also be in a private residence for same reasons.
Follow that yea. Do it up!
Same rules apply as far as ingesting and then going out to (let’s say) see a movie as it does alcohol. Don’t stumble over yourself or cause a danger to yourself/others and it’s fine.

Tried to attach a link, but it’s an easy find in search.

    Omg 1:29-1:32… I’m dead.

  7. word says:

These two are absolutely hilarious. I wasn’t happy when they decided to end their show. I am sure this movie will be brilliant ! I could do without the “n” word usage though, but that’s just me.

  8. Marty says:

I can’t get over the fact that they put a du-rag on that little kitten, lol.

  9. Tiffany :) says:

I tend to be one of those folks who, if a person is really kind and lovely to my friends, it gives me affection for them because they are taking care of my people (I tend to be very protective, lol) . I have heard really wonderful things about K&P being genuinely good people.

    • Kitten says:

Did you hear them on Fresh Air? They’re both incredibly smart, thoughtful, hilarious guys. Loved hearing them talk about race.

      • Tiffany :) says:

I didn’t! Your post yesterday made me realize I need to add that to my podcast feed. I listen to This American Life, but not Fresh Air. I will look for that episode.

      • Kitten says:

This American Life is my favorite podcast of all time but Fresh Air is great, too. Also, check out radio diaries http://www.radiodiaries.org/ if you’re into the personal journals thing.

Honestly, podcasts are the only thing that have been getting me through my 12 mile outdoor runs every day—so cold and windy and bitter. They’re a great distraction from the cold and a great motivator too. Makes it easier to run in 4 layers and a scarf around my face when I have a good podcast to look forward to ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Tiffany :) says:

        Thanks for the recommendations!
Podcasts are getting me through as well, but I wish it was for running. They get me through my 10 mile/hour long traffic commute each way. It really lowers my angst level when people are being dangerous assh*les on the road. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I can’t believe you run in weather that cold, that is serious dedication! I have become such a weenie when it comes to cold weather, I lost the ability to tolerate it. I used to laugh at people in winter coats at 60 degrees, now I am one. You can cover extremities, but how do your lungs handle that harsh cold?

      • Kitten says:

Oh I can only imagine, Tiff. I go bananas in traffic and I only have a CD player in my car so I don’t have the ability to listen to podcasts. I’m glad you found something to keep you calm ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, running is my commute (4 miles roundtrip) but I like to extend my run for training purposes (hopefully doing another half marathon in Spring) so it’s more for the convenience factor. I love cold weather running so much but not when the wind is gusting 50 MPH! I do occasionally get brief bouts of cold-induced asthma but for the most part I’m fine and by the end of my run, believe me, I am sweating like crazy. The only thing that gets really cold is my face.

Also, I replied to you on your comment about the TAL podcast re: segregation in public schools. I wish we were pals and lived in the same city. Would be fun to talk about that stuff in person.

      • FLORC says:

They are amazingly funny and come off very well spoken.
They could take over Fresh Air and I doubt most people would realize it’s 2 comedians.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Kitten, that is some impressive multi-tasking! My BF used to live in Boston and has told me about the insane winter wind. I can’t believe you can run through that! I wish we were pals in the same city too. I think we’d have so much to talk about and really dig into! We definitely share some recreational activities, and I’d love to go through your music collection. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Jwoolman says:

Tiffany- check out a safety supply store for a really good charcoal mask, looks like a regular pollen mask but is thicker and darker and more comfortable. I use one by 3M, they are disposable but reusable also. Great for the cold, no need for scarves and if your lungs and nasal passages keep warm, you can tolerate much colder weather. No more feeling of icicles forming inside your nose… The mask makes a huge difference in the cold and the charcoal keeps those car exhausts out of your lungs also. Especially nice if you’re doing something active and too much extra clothing gets in your way.

Google 3M 8247 charcoal mask to see a picture. Don’t have my box of masks handy to check if this is the model I use, but they do look like that. I have tried unsuccessfully to get free cookies on Halloween at stores, claiming it as a Halloween costume…

  10. Colette says:

Now they have me headed to youtube to watch George Michael’s”Freedom 90″ video.Damn you, Key and Peele.LOL

  11. Mia4s says:

    I can’t stop humming “Father Figure” ๐Ÿ˜‚

Please let the movie be as good as the trailer.

Whenever I see Key though, all I can think of is Luther. That sketch was genius.

    • SusanneToo says:

I hope the President goes full-on Luther before he checks out.

    • PennyLane says:

Whenever I look at a picture of them, I see Laurel & Hardy. Can’t help it.

One’s tall and thin, the other is short and stocky, and they’re both hilarious.

  12. Lucy2 says:

OMG this looks amazing. I love those guys to begin with, but add in a tiny kitten? Sold.

  13. Arock says:

this looks fantastic, they are so funny. The Outcast skit was and Meegan crack me up. “in your heart of hearts you know she doesnt need that jacket, dont do it’ hahahaaaa!

  14. Erinn says:

    RE: snow-pocalypse —

I hope everyone in the zones that are getting hit stays safe and warm – I’ve been checking the weather websites constantly to see if we’re going to get hit. So far we’ve gone from a prediction of 8 inches to about 1/4″. I’m really really hoping it keeps tracking the way it does (sorry those who are in the path!) – or that it hits the edge of the Eastern side of Nova Scotia at least, rather than South West.

    • Miss M says:

I hope so too! Stay safe and warm CBers!

    • FLORC says:

      Same!
I’m in the path to get hit, but only 6. The threat comes with melting and refreezing.
That and as soon as snow falls everyone forgets how to drive in the snow.
      Keep safe and warm!

    • lucy2 says:

They’re calling for up to 16″ here, but the big concern is wind and flooding. I always like being near the beach until the dreaded F word comes up.

    • Lama Bean says:

8″ in the forecast. I think we are already there. Started last night and is still going.

      It’s stunning.
If only this were mid-week and not the weekend. Snow days always seem to happen on my day off.

  15. Betti says:

Awww i want a kitten called Keanu now. Was that kitten real or CGI as it was bringing it with those stunts? LOL

  16. Madpoe says:

    OMFG that kitten! Keanu! <3
Love Key & Peele – would be great if they had cameos from Liam Neesies and Bruce Willy tho'.

  17. islandwalker says:

That looks hysterical. And kitties too.

  18. Reece says:

That’s so me in the car (anywhere) singing Freedom!

  19. yogapants says:

Love these guys, and the kitty is cute too!

  20. Jess says:

So proud to see how far they’ve come since the MadTV days!

I’m also hoping Keanu Reeves makes sort of cameo in the the film lol

  21. jojo says:

Hi modern day pee wee’s big adventure that negotiates the ever fuzzier border between black and white culture.

  22. alexc says:
