It appears that the love story of our generation (I’m kidding there) may be adding a new chapter. Are singers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez giving romance another go? Some recent developments have caused fans of Jelena to get their hopes up a little bit. On Wednesday, Selena was spotted by fans at Justin’s concert in Los Angeles. After the show, the pair chatted backstage.
A few days prior to the LA meetup, Justin used his Instagram account to take a walk down memory lane. He posted a pic where’s he’s smooching Selena on the beach and added the slightly enigmatic caption, “Feels.” Selena “liked” the pic and added the comment “Perfect.” Ah, love in the age of social media.
This isn’t the first time these two have been seen out together since their roller coaster romance ended. Back in November, they were seen dancing together at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills. It’s also not the first time Justin posted a #tbt picture of Selena Instagram. Back in December, he posted a pic riding an ATV with Selena. Even if they were trying to get back together, Justin’s tour is going on for a few more months and Selena is going on tour in May, so they don’t have much time. Although E! News reports that the couple have been “talking” about reconciling after their respective tours were done. Could this have been part of their backstage banter? Hmmm…
It’s also worth noting that some of Justin’s other rumored romantic interests, Hailey Baldwin and Kourtney Kardashian, have also been seen at Justin’s concerts. And, if Selena’s recent interview with W Magazine is any indication, she sounds a bit over it all. When asked about whether or not she thought Justin’s Purpose album was a plea of forgiveness from her ex, she replied, “I’m so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore.” Justin had admitted previously that a few of the songs on the album, including the hit “Sorry” were about her. He may have written some songs for her, but Justin recently told GQ that Hailey was “someone I really love.” Now is that “love” or “love love”?
I honestly don’t think they’re getting back together. They spent a lot of time together and went through a lot of ups and downs, so of course they still care about each other, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are (or should be) getting back together. Come on, don’t we all have an ex or two that makes a better friend than a boyfriend? I know I do.

These two are a mess. She reminds me of the friend everyone has who thinks the only thing she has going on is her on-off relationship drama, but everyone is so tired of hearing about it. It’s almost a form of narcissism.
Wonder how much of this is just to get people talking about them both again. Or maybe the rabid Bieber fans want them to be back together again and are making a mountain out of a molehill (her attending the concert and talking to him). I talk to a couple of my ex’s. Doesn’t mean I’m getting back together with them.
As long as he doesn’t get with anyone I’m a fan of I don’t care.

I’ve never been one to be able to be ‘friends’ with exes, so I can’t agree.
When I see this sort of thing, it seems like they’re lonely, willing to make the same mistake twice b/c there’s an young infatuation going on between them. They’re attracted to each other and the both live in a pretty superficial bubble that is the music industry and celebrity. They get what the other has for a life.
Not a bad thing, but from my experience, it’s not going to end happily, but they have to go through it, get it out of the way, etc.
So desperate.

If it didn’t work the first nine times, how is the tenth going to be any different? Plus, he’s been out with two of the Kardashians and one of those models. They pass each other around like ping pong balls. Dopes.
Reminds me of that alternate definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Some people really have to learn the hard way.
They both trot out this former relationship to generate public interest. Are they on again or off again? Their high schoolish romance was tiresome. The fact Selena is still willing to talk about it in every interview means she’s not over it – and likely milking it for continued relevancy. And Justin the douche is regularly sending mixed messages. He misses Selena and seems to hint that he wants her back, at the same time he also has a new “love” in his life? Please.
Move on already, you twits.

Her career seems to be going great.
Now it is, but she had a few good starts/singles in the past and dropped the ball when it came time to date him or support him over herself.
Please, she has a career she has because she dated Justin. And is friends with Taylor. She would have the typical post Disney career like Ashley Tisdale if it wasn’t for them, and she’s not even as talented as Ashley.
Nah, she has publicity because she dated him but she doesn’t have a career. She’s admitted as such. The girl has 5 albums and says people don’t look at her as a singer, just as Justin’s ex.
If she was serious about the fact people don’t take her seriously in music then she has to stop running to him for this back and forth that’s gotten pathetic.

Selena Gomez is no singer. She has a pretty face but the girl can’t sing shit. I can’t deny that her recent songs are catchy and I have two of her songs on repeat in my playlist but she can’t sing live..
Can’t dance and can only lip-synch to auto-tuned garbage.

Meh, I was off and on with my ex for 6-7 years, starting around their ages. I think it’s a normal-ish thing in your life in your teens/early 20s. Not saying its healthy. But it’s not unusual.
I forgot how sweet they looked together.
Justin currently looks like an unhealthy, whacked out mess. Selena is still beautiful.
Justin cheated on Selena repeatedly– she tried to be patient and forgiving. Then J. cheated again. And again. Selena deserves better.
