Wow, out of the corner of my eye I thought that was Kris Jenner, but it’s actually Johnny Weir.

  2. Sarah01 says:

I loved the finale, it had a lot going on but it showed where everything fell in the end. Diane’s slap was perfect and symbolic.
I just really want a show with all the characters back minus Alcia and family. Just the firm.

    • tracking says:

Yes, please, or just Diane in anything. Her character was always far more interesting than Alicia’s.

      • Jib says:

I just admire the heck out of Diane! So many times in this show Alicia rode on Peter’s coattails, and then pretended to be independent. She also did terrible things and always painted herself as in the right – like when she left the firm, and was surprised Will was upset. I really disliked the character and JM sounds like she wasn’t a peach in real life also.

Now, a show, with Diane, Kalinda, Cary, Elsbeth, and Eli – oh, and Alicia’s mother and brother – I’d watch that every week!!!!

    • Aulty says:

      It was a fitting finale.
The show had so many great characters that you could easily create a dozen spin-offs (Alicia was not that interesting imho)
I LOVE Christine Baranski and I would definitely watch a a lawfirm based ‘House of Cards’ with her at the helm. A great opportunity to base a story on more mature characters. Put Rita Wilson (!!) in the mix, Maura Tierney and Carrie Preston.

      • SM says:

You need to write that show. I would totally watch that. I watched the finale only because I really enjoyed the first 3 seasons and i found it so good as in I am happy that it’s put out of it’s missery

      • lucy2 says:

They were by far the best part of the show, and in the beginning it was a great ensemble. It’s a shame the last few seasons were all about Alicia and ridiculous politics. I would DEFINITELY watch a show you’re describing.
Diane got so sidelined, what a waste of a great actress and a great character. They even kind of ruined Carrie Preston’s character towards the end too.

    • Imqrious2 says:

      I totally agree with you!

I have to say, it was sooooooo great to see Josh Charles. I missed him 😊

      • abbey says:

Yes, the show went downhill after Josh Charles left the show. Overall I did not like the finale, very disappointing after all these years being such a popular show. It felt like they just wanted to quit and didn’t really care any more.

      • SusanneToo says:

@abbey. Same feeling here. It seemed anticlimactic and kind of rushed.

  3. KiddVicious says:

That was a pretty good slap. I was wondering how much of it was personal.

    • sanders says:

i wondered that too. Imagine if they brought Kalinda back and she delivered that slap!

    • Anett says:

I think it was damn strong and loud and moreover well deserved!!!!:-)

    • lucy2 says:

I wondered that as well! The behind the scenes of that show sounded very messy in the later years.

      • right says:

I’m down to a tv series with Diane (I’ll feel Diane’s pain FOREVER, you can’t just go and break Diane and Kurt like that) Cary, Eli, Kalinda, Marisa, Lucca, Fin Polmer, Will, Jason, Canning and all the guest appearances and judges. Alicia and the ever monstruos Mr. Big guy can just go the fucking away!

  4. seriously says:

Per the Justin Timberlake link: Am I the only one who thinks the new Justin Timberlake song is just ok? I really wanted to love it but it’s not going to be the hit of the summer to me…..

    • Mel M says:

I don’t think it’s good at all and although I’m not a JT Stan like some women of my age are, I usually like dancing to his music but this one is a miss in my book. The video is dumb too.

    • BendyWindy says:

I’m a die hard JT fan. This song sucks. Just…no.

    • Veronica says:

It’s catchy but nothing special. I honestly think he may be passing his peak. The 20/20 Experience was excellent, and he’s yet to follow up with anything that surpasses it.

  5. tracking says:

The lead went from such a likable, sympathetic character to pretty much a jerk this season (and last night). I found it disappointing.

  6. frivolity says:

I thought the finale was awful Full of soap-opery nonsense. I never thought the show was as good as all of the critics did, but this last season was especially terrible.

ETA: But I am glad Alicia got what was coming to her for so long. The last shot with Alicia and Diane was the only good part.

  7. Elizabeth says:

I was disappointed in the entire last season. The slap was the best part.
