Kristen Stewart vs. Blake Lively: who had the better Cannes photocall style?

wenn23845231

Woody Allen’s Café Society is the opening night premiere of the Cannes Film Festival, and these are the photos from the day-time photocall for the film. Woody Allen, Jesse Eisenberg, Corey Stoll, Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively all came out for the photocall. And it was awkward. It was awkward because Blake didn’t wear a bra. And it was awkward because Woody Allen is Woody Allen.

As for the fashion… Kristen wore a Chanel skirt and top, plus she completed the look with some awesome Louboutin heels – the Louboutins are “Pigalle Follies marble pumps” and they are rather fabulous. I actually like K-Stew’s pencil skirt and I think this is a great silhouette for her, but the midriff-baring t-shirt looks like something grungy that’s been in her closet for a while. My biggest qualm about Kristen’s look is that her hair is so NOT CUTE here. I’m fine with the bleach-blonde and I’m fine with the cut. But don’t do a center part. And wash your hair, for Christ’s sake.

Blake Lively wore the first LOOK AT ME ensemble of this year’s Cannes – her red jumpsuit is Juan Carlos Obando and it’s fine. She barely even looks pregnant, although her bust has increased in size, and it wouldn’t hurt Blake to choose some ensembles with some built-in support for her girls, you know?

I was literally going to say that the upper of Blake’s outfit looks weird and now I know why. Had she worn a bra, I would have loved the outfit. I still like it but I don’t know how to feel about the top part of it. But I’ll give her this: the woman knows how to dress when she’s pregnant.

    • Sam says:

But to answer the question…I like Kristen’s outfit but my God that hair just ruins it all for me. I’d say Blake by default just because I can’t unsee the hair on Kstew.

      • Katie says:

I agree. Kirsten’s outfit is fabulous but she ruins it with the hair and horrid posture.

      • Locke Lamora says:

I like the hair, minus the roots. The colour looks amazing on her. She’s one of those people who look great with every haircolour.

      • TrixC says:

I disagree, I think she’s so much more striking with dark hair, it really brings out her eyes which are her best feature.

    • almondmilk says:

I must be missing the deal with Blake’s bustline, it looks fine to me – and I love that jumpsuit!

Funny how smaller breasted women like Kristen get a pass for their saggy bra – less bo0bs. In my opinion she’s the one who looks like she’s had two kids. I think that baby tee no bra on Stewart looks as bad as her hair.

I think she wore an almost exact replica of this to a twi comic con deal once. Maybe it had a shorter skirt. But it was the same look. Pencil skirt and baby tee. I remember it because Pattinson was rating her up with his eyes, then…she went and dry humped the slimy middleaged brit director shortly after. Blech

      • almondmilk says:

Lol I mean ‘eating her up,’ with his eyes. (Rpatz)

      • SpareRib says:

Small breasts dont sag much, but they do sit differently. Kristen’s look great here, in my opinion. One of the perks of being small breasted is not having to care about bras 🙂

      • Dana m says:

Re: blake’s boobs, she has implants so they sit better after having kids.

      • almondmilk says:

        @sparerib

Not a good look when Bo0bs sag way below your armpits like Kstew’s. Also, not true about benefits of being small, I recall in the 90s Goopyth got ran out of town on a rail for her ugly black netting top, a red carpet Oscar look that made her flat chest look like a sad IHOP silver dollar pancake sunny side down 2.99 breakfast.

      • Myrna says:

        Small boobs all the way.
I don’t think they can ever look bad.
        KStew looks great.
I love the skirt & shoes.
Could the top have been something better?
Yes – maybe a silky spaghetti strapped something – like a camisole, maybe – similar to Blake’s top, but in a neutral or maybe gold?
But KStew always has to have a grudge element.
And I don’t think her hair looks bad…in some of the photos, her makeup and hair are spot on.
Can’t stand Blake, but gotta give it to her for her style, especially while pregnant.
No bra is offputting and cheap, though, but I expect that from her.

      • HH says:

@almondmilk – You’re really going in on KStew for no reason. Her boobs like fine. I think people are so used to push up bras and fake boobs that they forget the natural fall of breasts (small or large). Now, I agree with @Myrna that the the no bra look has always seemed a little cheap to me, but I don’t take issue with the shape/look of KStew’s breasts.

      • Myrna says:

@HH I think KStew’s breasts look absolutely fine.
I believe anyone with small breasts always look so great (*ENVY* because I have large breasts) and never need a bra.
It’s only cheap when someone with large breasts goes bra less – and even then, it’s not always the case.
But it looks cheap on Blake in these photos.
However, I’ve gone back after someone’s post that she seems to be wearing a strapless bra and I think that’s true – a bit of the nude bra is evident in at least one photo.
But the strapless isn’t doing Blake any favors in this outfit.
        It looks cheap.

      • qwerty says:

        @almondmilk

Your breasts are not below your armpits? That’s sounds…worrying.

      • mee says:

kristin is wearing a bra – i like her outfit although it slightly bothers me that the whites aren’t the same color.

blake’s outfit is nice, but she looks extremely thirsty.

    • Ames says:

I think a halter style would probably be more flattering on Blake right now, but she looks amazing. And it helps that she actually knows how to stand up straight.

      • Wren says:

Yes! I hate the slouching! It’s so unflattering and makes everything look ten times more awkward.

I didn’t like Blake’s outfit until I realized it was pants and then I loved it. I’d love to see more ladies in pants. Kristen’s outfit was nice too (minus the hair), but she’s so painful to look at, like she’s twisting herself up actively trying to shrink away that it’s hard to evaluate the aesthetic of the clothes.

    • Ames says:

I get it that Stewart is supposed to personify Young, Hip, Edgy. But for me, her fashion choices mostly just scream “Look how hard I’m NOT trying.” There is nothing fashion-forward, or even particularly compelling, about wearing a T-shirt that is clearly too small for you (why is this a thing?). And whomever is responsible for that situation atop Stewart’s head should be charged with something.

      • stinky says:

        its all so bad

      • Wren says:

You know, I think she would if she didn’t always look like she’d rather be anywhere else. There’s quite a bit of ugly on purpose you can pull off if you just own it and hold your head up high. “Yeah, I’m wearing this, what’re you going to do about it?” She doesn’t have that, though. She looks more like a preteen who was dragged up in front of the whole school at a pep rally and asked which boy she likes the best. Which makes anything she wears look ill fitting and awkward.

      • Magnoliarose says:

Agree. She can’t pull off what she’s going for.

    • Carol says:

Its also that awful scarf thing. Had she not worn that, I think Blake’s outfit would have worked better.

  2. Palar says:

Kstew bad hair. And whoa no spaghetti straps when your boobs are that big Blake.

    • Lolad says:

Blake looks like she stole that number from Alexis carringtons closet. And if she was the main star of the movie that would be fine but her part is small so the choice was a bit presumptuous and attention needy in the first place.

      • Bebe says:

So people are now required to dress based on how big of a role they have in a movie? Clearly her part is big enough that they have her doing press for the film. Maybe the other stars should have worn better atire and she wouldn’t have stole the attention.

      • Lolad says:

Uhhh….that’s basic red carpet ettiquette. Thus celbit by calling it a try hard choice. Heck, its just basic etiquette for life. Dress accordingly, whether you’re the bride or the birthday girl or not. This isn’t irrational Blake hate either, I think she’s a beautiful girl and harmless basically(though my eyes can’t under the age of Adeline). This was a corny choice though for her first Cannes photo call.

      • Magnoliarose says:

I think it looks like something for a much older Joan Collins circa 88. And it is attention grabby I agree.

      • Bebe says:

Uhh she stars in the film. She’s on the poster to the movie. She’s one of Jessie’s love interest. She’s at a press conference for the film. This isn’t the red carpet but a press conference so clearly her role is big enough to warrant her to wear whatever she wants. You may think it’s try hard but everyone else is raving because it’s Cannes. At Cannes you go big or go home.

      • Plewas says:

Oh please it’s a Cannes photo call, better than a red carpet. She’s not the star. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s mildly bad form. Like Kristen Stewart’s posture.

      • Beanie says:

Blake: bad fake boobs and yucky bad 70’s jumpsuit. Kristen: looks edgy in a good way, I like it.

  3. Lex says:

Kristen’s skirt would have been soooo cute with the appropriate shirt. I’m not a Blake fan but I think this would have looked really cute if it was fitted better. And if she had a bra. Don’t need to look at Woody this early in the morning, it will ruin my day.

    • Erinn says:

See, I think I’d keep the shirt and ditch the skirt. The skirt gives me ‘grandma’ vibes – I think mainly that it’s so white/cream colored and then has that stitching at the bottom. If that skirt was black and had been with the white cropped t- I think it’d have looked a lot cooler.

That or if it were pants instead of a skirt.

      • Beanie says:

It’s Chanel, known for tweedy, button-y, and sometimes very traditional suiting. I think she switched it up nicely with the pointy pumps and basic t.

  4. Bishg says:

I don’t like Kristen’s bleached hair, but the outfit is gorgeous. I would wear this any day.
    Blake is stunning.
    Both for the win.
And Corey Stoll is THE HOTNESS. I had never heard of him before his guest stint on Girls this season.

  5. pretty says:

this is really educational seeing the two different skin tones. pink skin and blake’s beige skin tone. wow. very drastic. i wonder what foundation they use.

    • Starkiller says:

I’m not sure if this is a sarcastic comment, but assuming it’s not, they have different undertones. Kirsten appears to have cool undertones, while Blake’s are warmer. On someone like Kristen, a foundation that leans more toward pink would be more flattering, where as Blake would look better in a beige-toned foundation.

  6. Birdix says:

I like kristin’s look. Her hair looks grumpy so that frees her to look less grumpy. The red jumpsuit looks so 90s with that scarf/neck thing. Impressive that her girls stand up on their own after having a kid though–I see why she’s putting them out there.

    • Esmom says:

I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes Kristin’s look. And I agree that Blake’s scarf looks silly.

      • Misti says:

Plus Kristen is getting AMAZING reviews for her performance.
I mean I don’t care for her, and Woody Allen makes me sick but doggone it, what if Allen gives Stewart her 1st Oscar nomination??!! He couldn’t do it for Emma Stone (well those movies were rubbish) or Scarjo but for Stewart??. Love it))

      • Mia4s says:

Highly unlikely this is an Oscar contender @MISTI. I agree reviews are positive but the Trades are all characterizing this as one of his “trifles” as opposed to a standout and “too familiar”. Par for the course for Allen these days, he’s mostly lazy…and gross.

  7. Patricia says:

Blake needed to leave the red scarf at home. It ages the whole outfit and makes it way too fussy.
As far as her breasts, it makes me kind of sad that the expectation is for her (and all women’s) breasts to be super perky. Having had a child, my breasts are lower and heavier than ever before. It can be hard to make them look perky, I don’t always want to wear a super-supportive bra that feels like a boob trap. I wish our society would embrace the many forms and stages of breasts. Blake’s breasts aren’t swinging low, they aren’t popping out, they actually look quite nice to me. It’s too high a standard to expect her to always have the same chest she had when she was 20. Am I projecting? Probably.

    • littlemissnaughty says:

Yeah, well, I haven’t had a baby and my boobs don’t look as good as hers do but then I haven’t had surgery. However, the problem with outfits like this is that you can’t look anywhere else. Free-swinging breasts – unless they’re very small – will always draw anyone’s attention and it’s just unnecessary. If I was trying to have a chat with her, I’d be in trouble. It would be such an effort to keep my eyes on her face. That goes for every low-cut outfit on any woman btw. It’s fine, flaunt it if you got it but don’t be surprised if I’m distracted. All I see in these pics is BOOBS and frankly, I’m sure that’s intentional.

Kristen’s outfit is surprisingly cute though, I like it. And then ALL of it is ruined by Woody Allen. Whose outfit is just the worst, I think we can all agree on that. Those pants couln’t possibly be hoiked up any higher.

    • kai says:

      thank you… I agree…

    • TheOtherMaria says:

      You’re not projecting.

Women with big breasts are always shamed into wearing bras and deigned “trashy” when we show them off.

There’s always one group of people who have to tear down another group of people, especially with women 😳 Look at threads where bigger women are praised, there will ALWAYS be a few naturally slender women who will talk about thin shaming, it’s inevitable–whether it’s height, weight, eye color, skin tone, or in this case bust size is irrelevant.

Part time feminism is alive and well.

      • Kitten says:

I’m a member of The Itty Bitty Titty Committee but even I don’t see what the issue is with Blake’s breasts.

      • Beanie says:

To me they look so silicone. Not at all teardrop natural. They don’t have a natural drape, they are defying gravity and look ready to bust out of their mooring.

    • Erinn says:

Personally – I love bras. I feel weird when I’m not wearing one. I hate the feeling. But I’ve also always had really large boobs. I’m at a DD and they definitely aren’t perky, and I’m only turning 26.

Everyone has different boobs. Some are more dense, or more heavy, or less heavy, or perky, or not. It doesn’t matter. So many people seem to have so much issue with other womens’ breasts, and it’s just weird.

As long as you’re dressed ‘appropriately’ I don’t have an issue. I would LOVE to have small, perky boobs. But I don’t. And I’m okay with that, really. Everyone is built differently. I do what’s comfortable for me – and that includes wearing a bra. I don’t do it for OTHER PEOPLE. I do it for my own comfort.

    • Pamela says:

I think her boobs look fine too.

Also, what bra would even WORK with that outfit? The side view makes it pretty clear that a strapless is out of the question. Those stick on things that go under your boobs would not be visible in this outfit, but in I don’t think they work on anyone over a B cup…so…..

      • magnolia says:

They make these silicone cups that adhere to your breasts. They look like chicken cutlets (haha!). That’s what she should have worn (she might actually be wearing one, who knows).

      • Starkiller says:

Those stick-on cutlet bras just do not work. At best the weight of them just makes you look saggier, and at worst they keep sliding down and you end up looking like you have two sets of boobs. My boobs are probably smaller than Kristen’s and I can’t even wear one–I can’t imagine that it would have any beneficial effect on someone with breasts as large as Blake’s.

    • Mimz says:

Thank you I totally agree. I don’t care that she’s not wearing a bra, even if I don’t feel comfortable not wearing one outside the house. And I think that this picture shows that girlfriend doesn’t have implants. I stand by that, I just think she’s always had perky boobs. Some people do have them. One of my bffs used to have them like that, she had a kid, and her boobs now, 3 years later, look like blake’s.
All still great boobs. All boobs are great boobs ahahahhahaha

    • Bridget says:

Big busted or not, the top just looks bad. It’s way too flimsy – those sad little spaghetti straps are a strange contrast to the heavy bottom half of the jumpsuit.

      • Magnoliarose says:

I have no issue with no bra. I just don’t like the tailoring and design.

      • Bridget says:

I think she may even be wearing a strapless bra (or have really awesome implants that keep everything perky). But she looks like she’s wearing a flimsy camisole on top and enormous pants with some sort of train on the bottom. Even without the boobs discussion, it’s just a bad outfit. Blake doesn’t have the greatest taste in clothes when she’s not being dressed by someone.

      • Tiffany :) says:

I agree about the scarf. No bueno.

I agree about the top looking bad, but not necessarily because of her chest. I think the high waist of the pants with the scoop of the top makes them appear to be too close together. Her bust looks fine, but the outfit has proportion issues.

  8. BearcatLawyer says:

Whenever I see Louboutin’s Pigalle shoes, I giggle. Pigalle is an area of Paris that is known for ladies of the night. Not so much stripper heels as hooker heels, but to each her own.

    • Don't kill me I'm French says:

It was an area of Paris known for the sex clubs and hookers. Now it is an area to get gentrified

      • Kitten says:

I was gonna say..I was in Pigalle a couple years ago and it’s pretty much Yuppyville at this point.

    • Starkiller says:

Christian Louboutin was born and raised in Paris, so I’m sure he’s well aware of Pigalle and its associated connotations. I always assumed it was supposed to be an edgy or oxymoronic name choice. But yeah, as others have mentioned, this is an outdated definition of Pigalle-it’s rapidly gentrifying now,

  9. Don't kill me I'm French says:

I watched this photo call this morning .Kristen was very at ease and Blake paraded. All I thought was “you need a bra!”

    • Naya says:

From the sounds of things, Blake probably started panel discussions with her team over what to wear months ago. The Martha Stewart thing failed, the career thing isnt so hot and so she is attempting the Sarah Jessica Parker thing. I am not surprised she spends her time preening for the cameras as though she were a real star and not just the unpaid supporting cast in a Woody Allen (!!) film. Lets just be thankful she didnt bring her beloved slave era fashion to Cannes.

      • Lee says:

        + 1

      • Bebe says:

@Naya what a tragic life Blake must be living. She’s “unpaid” to be in a film that’s opening up the Cannes film festival. All the while wearing designer clothes all the time and getting to parade around in those clothes. There’s nothing wrong with being a fashion IT girl especially when you’re getting paid to do so and get attention for it. It must bug you that she’s relevant enough to do all of the above.

      • Misti says:

        @Bebe
Yup. And more than that she also doing her paid work repping L’Oreal on this carpet too. Job done @ getting her coins. Oh, Lively along with Juliane Moore are the L’Oreal girls opening the carpet, and she’s promoting her film on top of that. So expect more rage. Love it )))

      • CornyBlue says:

Yes. She is just a higher level Vanessa Hudgens and Cannes is her Coachella

      • Prince Valiant says:

Naya and Magnolia, do you speak French? If you do, check the review of the film on Cinémateaser, for example, regarding Blake Lively’s interpretation.

      • Mia4s says:

Check out Lainey’s story about this. Apparently Blake wasn’t asked a single question at the press conference. *Gasp* they’re treating her like she was cast for her looks and not her acting ability and intell…oh wait. 😉

    • magnolia says:

Say what you will about Kristen…but she oozes sex appeal and self confidence here. Blake is pretty but she doesn’t project anything worth remembering.

      • Kitten says:

I don’t mind Kristen but “sex appeal” and “confidence” are not words that I’d ever use to describe her, EVER.

      • Magnoliarose says:

        @Kitten lmao. Totally agree.

      • Beanie says:

I think she comes off as confident too. I think she doesn’t always enjoy the posing and preening for the paparazzi part, and gets a bit grumpy sometimes. So what. She is an actress. Artistic folk can be mercurial.

  10. Mia4s says:

This is a lot of awkward body language for one post!

  11. lower-case deb says:

    Kristen’s for me!!
but oh dear her go-to pose grates on my nerves for some reason.
its up there with the i-wanna-pee legcross.

Blake’s dress is okay in theory but in practice its a red mess.

meanwhile Woody Allen is a galaxy load of mess. and he has also ruined the word “pleasure” for me. that not even an ISS armada worth of brain bleach can help me recover, i feel.

    NO NO HELL NO.

    • Beanie says:

But don’t you get tired of the crossed ankles, one hand on waist pose more? 2/3’s of the women in the biz use that pose, and it is so worn out.

  12. Zandy says:

I think Blake is wearing a bra! One of those low strapless ones. Can’t see her nipples at all. The jumpsuit requires it. She looks lovely.

    • Sam says:

Yea I think she’s wearing a strapless one now that I look at it again because you don’t see her nipples or anything. I guess people just expect her boobs (and other women’s boobs) to just be perky and out there all the time.

    • Don't kill me I'm French says:

This norming I watched this photo call on tv ,her breast was “free”

      • Sam says:

A strapless bra can make a woman’s boobs appear “free.” However again if you look at the pictures, if they were “free” you’d see her nipples through the material. She’s certainly wearing something in that area so they’re not exactly “free.”

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

She could be wearing nipple pads.

  13. Hannah says:

kristen doesn’t look good, she has huge bag under her eyes for someone who is only 24. Blake is blah but she looks healthy.

    • Don't kill me I'm French says:

Kristen always had huge bag under eyes

    • retromancing says:

I’ve had bags under my eyes pretty much my entire life, it’s just one of those things that can’t be helped for certain people.

  14. roses says:

It seems both the film and especially Kristen are getting some good reviews this morning. Looking forward to hear about her performance in Personal Shopper.

  15. Bridget says:

That jumpsuit is a big ‘nope’. Too flimsy on top, the scarf is silly, and the legs look to be about 6 inches too long.

    • Mgsota says:

My thoughts exactly!! The scarf is particularly dreadful.

I wonder how much Kristen’s Chanel crop top t-shirt costs? It looks like she got it at Forever 21 for $4.99. I love the skirt and heels though.

  16. Insomniac says:

I still like Kristen’s hair. Not wild about the outfit but at least it’s not eye-bleedingly garish like the other stuff Chanel has put her in. But those heels! Ow ow ow — how can anyone walk in those things? And how does Blake not trip and fall over the hem of that jumpsuit?

  17. Danielle says:

Jumpsuit looks extra for daytime. I really like Kristen Stewart look. Love the dressier pencil skirt with the casual t

  18. Jayna says:

I wanted Kristen to go back blonde, but just blonde highlights with lowlights also, not this bleached mess. She looks awful.

    Blake is always lovely

  19. ReineDidon says:

Blake looks good except for her girls. But If she had worn a strapless bra they will be too high and much out there. That’s what you get with DD !
I don’t like Kristen’s silhouette here. It absorbs her waistline and make her look shapeless. That being said she’s still pretty 😁

  20. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Whenever I see Woody Allen, that’s all I see. Neither of them look like anything standing next to him but what they are – greedy and soulless for working with him. Ugly.

    • Magnoliarose says:

Me too. It bothers me that no one takes a stand.

    • Kitten says:

I had to leave the thread from today. It was too upsetting.

No wonder so many sex abuse victims never come forward. Sigh.

  21. poppy says:

glad to see WA’s choices from the talent pool is decreasing. i doubt after the bashing cate blanchette received for working with him he will ever be able to hire from the best of the best actresses again. hoping this is the case.

  22. shannon says:

Her hair looks terrible. I’m going to get jumped on, but her hair has looked so gorgeous in the past. I’m not speaking about her long hair either, although it’s admittedly some of the best hair out there. It looks great as a pixie as well as long as it’s taken care of. Not sure why she is wearing this bleached out, meth-head look. Love the outfit though. I think I’ve seen this shirt on her before.

  23. Tig says:

I like the jumpsuit, and the color looks good on her.

KS- the skirt is pretty, but the cropped top has been done to death. Part of her posture prob is the heels. She never looks comfortable in sky high heels, and it shows.

Is Ronan Farrow’s essay going to get a discussion post today?

  24. Another Anne says:

Wearing a jumpsuit while pregnant is an interesting decision, although I suppose she doesn’t have to wear it for long. Jumpsuits are a PITA when you have to pee.

  25. Zuzus girl says:

Can’t see antone but the creeper. Won’t be seeing any of their films either.

  26. HK9 says:

Woody Allen looks like a weed standing between two flowers.

  27. QQ says:

Blanda McWhitetington cant be serious with that red scarf LMMFAO

Kristen By A Country Mile, she managed to look both Modern and fun ( Yes I Know She is A Cheater, So and? The F*ck – There i saved us the chat!)

    • Anname says:

I’ll agree that serial cheating does pale in comparison to child molesting. That’s a pretty low bar though.

Anyone who stars in a Woody Allen movie is ugly and no matter what they wear they are ugly. Ugly comes from within. And if you are willing to sell your soul just to star in one of his films then you are an ugly person. Nothing to discuss: They both look ugly.

      • Dlo says:

I think WA did both.. Have never seen even one of his movies and I never will

  28. SilkyMalice says:

Blake certainly knows how to carry herself – it is interesting to see the contrast between herself and Kristen who couldn’t be slouchier. Kristen is objectively prettier than Blake, but hides it well with poor posture and a lackluster attitude.

    • anna says:

In what world is a woman like Kristen prettier than Blake? There are so many actresses who look better than perpetually -unwashed kstew.

  29. Embee says:

In that last pic Blake’s face and body language are all “Whoa look at these boobs! Even I don’t know how to get out of their way.”

They both look pretty but I prefer Kristen’s style.

  30. Leah says:

KStew looks like she hasn’t slept in a week.

  31. Twix says:

Is it only me who finds these pics to be so funny? Blake is obviously so happy to be there and grabbing so much attention, while Kristen looks like she is counting the minutes until it’s over. The contrast between the two of them makes me chuckle!

  32. Trying says:

Lively is all TRY while Stewart is appropriate.

  33. Tallia says:

Looking at Woody Allen makes my skin crawl.

  34. Magnoliarose says:

Both looks are terrible. The length on the jumpsuit is wrong and that scarf is hideous. It belongs on someone older who is hiding an aging neck. The boob situation is bad. The styling on Blake is a nope. Her stylist should be fired.
Kristen is bad too. The proportions are off and her styling is just too dirty grunge. The makeup looks like it is borrowed from the heroin chic looks of the 90s. I do however love the shoes.
Can’t get over the lecher child abuser in the middle. He stinks up everything. Disgusting.

  35. lisa says:

no one looks good when you accessorize with a troll pervert

  36. NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Too much boobage/cleavage for a spaghetti strap top.
And Kristen, FFS, if you can’t wash it, at least slick it straight back. It would’ve looked great with the outfit and there’d be no criticism about visibly dirty hair.

  37. Chetta B. says:

If K-Stew’s posture were better, right? But Blake, hands down. I don’t think red-bottoms suit Kristin Stewart.

  38. Beckysuz says:

Oh Corey Stoll, why did you have to disappoint me by being in a woody film?

  39. Starkiller says:

None of these people look like they’re going to the same event. Blake looks great, but she’s way overdressed for a daytime photo call, even for Cannes. Stoll looks like he got lost on his way to the Kentucky Derby. Eisenberg couldn’t be arsed to iron his shirt and change out of the jeans he probably hasn’t washed in a month?

  40. elns says:

I prefer K-Stew’s fit. I’m going to be honest, I don’t really “mind” the bleached frazzled hair. It’s got that edgy vibe I think she can work. You know, kinda that Ally Sheedy Breakfast Club thing. It’s not supposed to be a polished look. She can do emo just fine. Also I like it’s contrast with clean lines of her white outfit.

Blake is kinda meh to me. It’s a nice outfit. I’m sure she’s a nice lady.

    • da says:

I totally agree, K-Stew’s look is much more chic. Love the hair, the skirt and even the mid-driff and the shoes….are to die for

  41. mary simon says:

Blake and Kristin have officially been initiated in to Woody’s stable, and both are appropriately bra-less for the occasion. Congratulations, girls!

  42. hogtowngooner says:

I like Kristen’s skirt but the cheap white t-shirt and her hair ruin it for me. Blake looks great in that colour but I think it’s a bit too fancy for what looks like an afternoon photo-call.

  43. moon says:

    Blake is so….basic

  44. Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I honestly don’t understand how anyone can be near Woody Allen, know what he’s done, and be okay with it. I mean, I haven’t been able to go near one of my great uncles, after I found out that he molested my grandma. He was the cool, slightly kooky uncle before that—after, the few times I saw him, I did not want to even be in the same room with him, even with a room full of other people. He makes me sick to my stomach.

  45. drnotknowitall says:

I actually think they both look good. I think Kristen’s outfit would have looked amazing with some layers of pearls and her hair back.

  46. kri says:

    Those.Shoes. oh man.I wish……………

  47. amilu says:

I hate Kristen Stewart’s posture. That is all.

  48. Joannie says:

I don’t think either one looks good.

  49. Tara says:

Look at Blake Lively trying to get all the attention on her with a bright red, cheap looking outfit. Woody Allen needs to cast some real actresses. Not these young girls he wants to perve on. He’s such a shallow pig

  50. Luffy says:

I dislike the fact that women with larger breasts are expected to wear bras and dress like nuns to prevent all you pearl clutchy girls from taking offense to a woman’s natural form. I think Blake looks lovely. I don’t think she needs a bra at all. I’m tired of bras being used for style when their purpose should be functional. If a woman doesn’t feel the need or want to wear a bra then who are you to criticize her body for her clothing choice?

  51. sauvage says:

I have two questions. I seriously mean them as questions, not snark. Since most, if not all Celebitchy writers, from what I’m getting, consider themselves feminists:

Question number 1: Is not pitting women against each other something to please be avoided, from a feminist viewpoint?
Question number 2: Does that not start with headlines such as these, “Who had the better photocall style, X or Y?”, “Who wore it better, X or Y?”, “Who looked better at the premiere, X or Y?”

I realise that this is a gossip website, and I religiously read it every day, yet this is something that has been worrying me for a while now. Where do we draw the line? Why celebrate Kim Kardashian’s right to flood the world with nudes, and call women who disagree unfeminist, yet still jugde women based solely on their appearance?

I don’t have the answers, I just wanted to ask the questions, and see what my fellow Celebitches think about it. Has this been bothering anybody else?

  52. benchwarmer says:

I love Kristen’s look. She has such an awkward beauty that works. She truly embodies effortless beauty, I woke up like this, threw this shit on and voila! I think the hair is quirky and I like it. I wouldn’t have noticed Blake was bra-less you guys are good to see these details. I like that color on Blake and her hair. The scarf is too old hollywood glamour for my taste but I’m not into her ‘gosh darn’ everyone like me please personality. I’m more into the give zero effs type like Kristen.
