Eva Longoria married José “Pepe” Bastón over the weekend in an outdoor ceremony that took place in his backyard in Mexico. Eva was married twice before; once to Tyler Christopher, followed by a rather splashy relationship with Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker. Her marriage to Parker ended amid his alleged philandering. Bastón, president of the Televisa media company, was also married prior and has three children with his first wife. Eva and Bastón got engaged in December while on a charity trip in Dubai with Global Gift Foundation.

A source confirms to PEOPLE that the couple got married in a sunset ceremony in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, a lakeside town roughly 88 miles from Mexico City. According to previous reports, the couple hosted their bash at Baston’s home and finished off the big day with fireworks.
“They married on an altar under lots of little lights,” the source says. “It was very romantic. Eva wore her hair down and smiled during the whole ceremony. He was in a gray suit.”
On Sunday, Longoria shared a shot from the wedding, showing their rings and two cards reading “Jose Baston” and “Eva Baston.”
In photos posted by Hola! and Al Rojo Vivo, a Telemundo news program, Longoria and Baston can be seen exchanging their vows in front of a giant white cross overlooking the lake. Playing into the ongoing theme of “white elegance,” Longoria wore a white dress designed by Victoria Beckham and her hair was styled by Ken Paves. Bastón was in a gray, three-piece suit by Italian designer Brunello Cucinelli and the couple exchanged simple gold bands by Berger and Son, according to Hola!.
Ricky Martin, Mario Lopez, Melanie Griffith, and Victoria and David Beckham were among the approximately 80 guests who enjoyed cocktails and a live performance by Pro Down – a band comprised of members with special needs – before the ceremony began, according to Hola!.
After the ceremony, Hola! USA says guests dined on a meal by Eduardo Kholman and Enrique Olvera while the newlyweds danced to Colombian singer Carlos Vives’ “Volví a Nacer” for their first dance. Longoria was surprised at the reception by her Desperate Housewives costar Vanessa Williams, who revealed her presence at the wedding halfway through her performance of her hit song “Save the Best for Last.”
The last bit about Vanessa Williams has me scratching my head – did she pop out of a cake in the middle of her song? And was she not invited? ‘Surprise! I came anyway.’ Hola! Eva, whose sister has special needs, founded Eva’s Heroes, a charity that helps developmentally disabled children.
I know she shoved her relationships with Tony Parker and Eduardo Cruz in our faces, but she seems to have calmed down since then. She went on to earn a Masters degree in Chicano studies from Cal State Northridge. Her show Telenovela was cancelled but she is still an executive producer Devious Maids and works pretty steadily. She and Pepe have been relatively low key with their relationship so good luck to them.
Based on the Instagram below, it looks like Eva changed into a strapless gown and second necklace with matching bracelet for the reception. This looks like a Victoria Beckham dress as well. I like the wedding dress better.

I have never liked her and can’t even articulate why. I guess sometimes you simply don’t “warm” to someone.
Also why does she sweep into Cannes every year like she’s a major thing? Huge arrival, multiple costume changes, her face, all the time, everywhere.
There are many who show up and beg the question “why is she here??” But this woman really tries to makes herself l’attraction du spectacle.

Telenovela wasn’t cancelled btw. It is scheduled to return soon, hopefully. It’s a cute show!

I give her credit for the way she handled the Tony Parker cheating humiliation.
She loved that dude bad, but did not dine out on any ugliness during the divorce.
I love that Eva and Victoria are such great friends. Also Eva is growing on me as years go by, she was a bit much at the height of her fame but nowadays seems like a smart, nice woman who’s proudly Latina and doing a lot of good work for her community.

I find Victoria boring and uninspiring in every single photo I have ever seen of her. Does she ever look happy? All I see is sad and miserable 🙁
I think they are perfect backdrop for crazy accessories.
The trouble is most people don’t go over the top on the accessories front, choosing minimal tasteful accessories which work with a crazy, colourful dress, but which don’t work if the dress is already minimal and tasteful.
I have a navy Beckham day dress with black kittens on it that makes everyone who sees it go ” what the heck is that?” It’s weirdly cute and stylish at the same time and no one can believe it’s VB because she seems so ….boring.
I admit that I am quite crazy, though, so that may help with the dress.
