Kylie Minogue, 47, plans to marry her 28 year-old fiance in Italy next month

Kylie Minogue covers the current issue of Hello! Magazine. Inside is a spread featuring faraway photos of her on the beach on the Greek island of Sifnos with her fiance of four months, 28 year-old actor Joshua Sasse. The photos look like they’re on a honeymoon, but Hello! reports that, contrary to rumors that they’re married already, these two are going to get married in Italy sometime next month. Joshua has a two year-old son who lives in Italy, from his relationship with an Italian woman. The timeline of their relationship may be suspect and it’s thought that Joshua was attached when he first met Kylie, but he’s enough of an unknown commodity that outlets don’t seem to have picked up on it. Hello! has details of their summer days, which sound and look very relaxing, along with some nice quotes from Kylie sort-of addressing their nearly 20 year age difference. (I think she gave those to a different outlet but they’re new to me.)

Hello! can reveal that [Joshua and Kylie] are planning to tie the knot in Italy next month.

A source on the island told Hello!: “Joshua has been telling his friends in Greece about their plans to marry in Italy.”

Joshua knows Italy well: his two year-old son, Sebastian, from his relationship with Italian sociality Francesa Cini, lives there. The couple, who never married, separated when Sebastian was a young boy but Joshua maintains a good relationship with him.

[Joshua and Kylie] have been staying in a luxury house in Poulati, near Artemonas – an area known for its architecture and natural beauty.

During the day the happy couple have ventured down to a nearby beach, often then lunching at a gourmet fish restaurant or having a drink at all-day beach bar Palmira on Paltys Gialos beach.

Evenings have been spent wandering the streets of Artemonas, eating in local tavernas or sampling delicious Italian fare…

Both have largely relocated to Greece over the summer, regularly flying out to attend events in London…

“Joshua is still in Sifnos, while Kylie is in London… she will no doubt be back soon… He is spending all day at the beach, swimming, reading, learning to speak Greek, enjoying good food and having fun with some local friends..”

Joshua is 20 years her junior, but Kylie has said: “I think the general consensus is we kind of look right together. So even though on paper it might not look right, it just is right.

“He is an absolutely brilliant, brilliant guy. And even if I try and act cool and natural, it’s written all over my face that I am very happy.”

[From Hello! Magazine, print edition]

How awesome does that vacation sound? They’re lounging on the beach, staying in a luxury villa, reading, eating and drinking, with occasional breaks for work. Plus they clearly adore each other, judging by the photos. Kylie’s right they do look good together. (She didn’t say that exactly, but that’s how I took it.) Now I want Hello! to get the exclusive wedding photos. You know I will be buying that issue. Hello! also points out that Italy is a popular wedding destination for celebrities, with Kim K and Kanye, George Clooney and Amal and Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster marrying there. I just want to go there for the food, I don’t need romance just some delicious pasta and wine.

Has anyone seen the recent photos of her at Daily Mail? She looks unrecognizable and awful.

    • ronaldinhio says:

I thought quizzical (one eyebrow always asking a question) Pamela Anderson

    • cindy says:

No, but I came here to make the shallow comment that she looks amazing here . I am 44. And I try! I eat really healthy and exercise bla bla who cares and she looks 30! Good god. Is it good genes or what. Jennifer Anniston looks really really good for her age too ( IMO, I know many disagree), but this lady is a vampire.

      • kiki says:

@cindy. I have to agree that she looks amazing except, Kylie Minogue needs to lay off the Botox. Kylie Minogue is a very beautiful woman until she put that liquid of destruction into her face. Other than that she looks great for 48.

      • Sunny says:

Scratch out the “for 48” and you got it.

  2. SleepyJane says:

    She looks amazing.

    • doofus says:

      she DOES…fantastic…

her fella is pretty good looking too…he looks like a better looking, less groomed Theroux to me. actually, he DOES looked “groomed” but not as “over-groomed” as Theroux. if that makes sense.

    • DrM says:

she looks AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING. Simple as that. And having met her once in Adelaide she also comes across as a very very nice person.

  3. Pinky says:

She’s marrying Galavant? Bring back Galavant!

  4. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Why is he wearing that ridiculous hat? He could be her son. I couldn’t go there, but I don’t suppose she cares what I would or wouldn’t do.

    • Esmom says:

I know. That hat and beard are just way too hipster cliche. Makes me suspicious. Irrational, I know.

      • Pandy says:

Hipster cliché is right! Justin Theroux vibes. Bet he’s wearing Jorts on that greek beach loll.

    • Maria says:

balding is why he wears the hat.

      • AmandaPanda says:

It’s the loafers without socks that do it for me. You’re wearing a hat and waistcoat, put some flipping SOCKS on!!

      • Myrna says:

I never wear socks…not even in winter with boots…just saying.

And on men, the sock-less look, for me, is sexy!

        He looks like her son.
She’s gorgeous, yes, but this relationship grosses me out.
        He’s 28 for christ’s sake.
Not yet a man…come on Kylie.

      • Esmom says:

Myrna, I guess I’ve been warped by other celeb pairings, like the Taylor Johnsons because 28 does not seem that young to me.

      • Sunny says:

@Myrna, would you say that a female 28 year old was “not yet a woman”?

  5. MrsBPitt says:

That vacation does sound glorious, and relaxing. I hate to tell Kylie, but the most important aspect of picking a partner for life is not “looking good together”….

    • Jayna says:

I took that comment to mean that there may be 20 years difference, which on paper is odd, but when seeing them together they look good together, not like mother and son, for instance. There looks like there is an age difference between them, but not a huge 20-year age difference, I agree.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

She actually said they look “right” together, I think, meaning they were right for each other, maybe? I think she looks old enough to be his mother, which she is, in the last picture.

    • Bros says:

He’s just giving me Talented Mr. Ripley vibes. ick.

  6. Kate says:

Well if it doesn’t work out she can pass him over here. He’s beautiful.

  7. lucy2 says:

That’s a big age difference and they haven’t been engaged all that long to be getting married next month. Good luck to them though.

    • Carol says:

That’s what I think. But good luck to them. Hope they remain happy together for a long time.

  8. UCatwoman says:

I thought that was James Middleton at first.

  9. Redgrl says:

    You go girl!

  10. Elizabeth says:

    Marry? Or adopt?

  11. Ghoulish_moose says:

“Now I ain’t sayin’ he a gold digger, but he ain’t messin’ wit no broke cougars…” 😋

  12. Hazel says:

“Joshua knows Italy well: his two year-old son, Sebastian, from his relationship with Italian sociality Francesa Cini, lives there.”

    Should be socialite no?

P.S. You go Kylie. If rich men can have partners with 20 year differences, then so should women. (Provided they’re legal of course).

  13. Wren33 says:

In general I am skeptical of how such large age differences will last in the long-term, but I also think whatever works for you. Since we still live in a world where parents sell off their 12 year old girls to older men in some countries, I don’t think it is surprising that men get more of a side-eye whereas older women get the “you go girl” comments. It’s funny, my husband is only 3 years older, but he still sometimes gets weirded out when he remembers some pop culture event when he was, say 15, and I therefore would have only been 12. I can’t imagine thinking back to being in college or whatever when my spouse was just being born.

  14. Tiffany says:

Are we really sticking with 28 Joshua?

    Come on, buddy.

  15. Elian says:

This is all fine now but what about when she’s 67 and he’s 48? We used to have some friends with an 18 year age difference. They met when he was 38 and she was 20. It was alllllll fun and games for everyone until he started having major health problems and generally heading off into old age, while she was in a completely different stage of life, still wanting to be a vibrant healthy young participant in life. It was really sad.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

At my age I know so several people like that – younger wives going out of their minds with boredom as the husband has aged so much and now wants to have dinner at 4:30 while they still want to go out. It is sad. And fairly predictable if one can count.

    • Zip says:

I think that in most cases anything over 10 years age difference will become problematic at some point.

    • Esmom says:

One of my best friends is in a relationship with someone much, much younger and I worry about the same thing all the time. My friend, almost 50, is in such a different place, emotionally and financially, than his 20-something partner. Sigh. 🙁

  16. Starkiller says:

So if I’m interpreting this timeline correctly, in the space of two years he fathered a child with one woman, married and divorced a different woman, and is now engaged to a third woman? Yeah, this one’s a keeper.

  17. Carol says:

That guy kind of looks like a cross between Justin Theroux and Fassbender.

  18. browniecakes says:

Italy is for lovers as we know.

  19. Tough Cookie says:

“The couple, who never married, separated when Sebastian was a young boy…”

He’s TWO. Can’t get much younger than that, LOL…..

  20. Londongal says:

Take note Hiddleswift, a clearly genuine love affair.
