E!: Miranda Kerr ‘can really see herself marrying’ billionaire Evan Spiegel

wenn23502028

Just the other day, I idly wondered what the holdup was between Miranda Kerr and her billionaire frat-bro lover, Evan Spiegel. Surely they should be engaged by now, right? They got together more than a year ago, around May 2015. Within a few months, they were pap strolling (awkwardly) together. Miranda dropped details about their relationship in interviews, like how he’s “authentic” (rich) and “kind” (rich) and “he’s 25 but he acts 50” (rich and pliable). Well now Miranda wants you to know that she’s close to locking this sh-t down.

Wedding bells are on the horizon once more for Miranda Kerr, E! News has learned exclusively. The 33-year-old Australian supermodel and beau Evan Spiegel, the 26-year-old CEO and co-founder of Snapchat, “have been seriously speaking about getting engaged,” a source said Thursday.

“He is so in love with her,” the source added. “They are really happy with each other and Miranda can see herself marrying him.”

Kerr and Spiegel met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in New York in 2014 and began dating last year. They made their red carpet debut at a pre-2016 Grammy Awards party this past February. They made their relationship Instagram official the following month and attended a State Dinner at the White House in May.

Marriage would be the next natural step for the pair, as they have been living together for a while.

“Miranda loves living with Evan,” the first source told E! News. “He has let her decorate and design their house the way she wants.”

Orlando Bloom is more than five years older than Kerr, while she is more than six years older than Spiegel. The source told E! News Spiegel “acts way older than he is,” adding, “Age is not an issue at all for them.”

[From E! News]

I’m sure Miranda CAN “see herself marrying him.” She’s been able to see herself doing that about one week into their relationship. Seriously, Mariah Carey should be offering a Golddigger’s Guide to Marrying a Billionaire course, because Mariah had James Packer locked in within, what? Like seven months. Hilariously, Star Magazine recently claimed that Evan Spiegel is nobody’s fool and he wants her to sign a draconian prenup. We’ll see, Evan.

Of cour$e $he can really $ee herself marrying him. $he is $o in love.

As for the Massey prenup, I’m laying down odds that she gets him to rip up the signed doc and eat it with BBQ sauce at their wedding reception.

Can we stop writing lock down a billionaire? Isn’t Mariah very wealthy on her own? And she seems like such a pain in the ass, so poor billionaire.

I don’t know all that much about this Spiegel guy, but he has such a douchey face.

  3. Maria says:

lol of course what would be the reason to just date a billionaire?

  4. Lynnie says:

Isn’t he a big douche? Maybe it’s my dislike of Snapchat clouding my judgement lol. Oh well, if she likes being a trophy wife that’s cool with me.

  5. Eleonor says:

I think the big difference is: Mariah is a legend and has a career, she doesn’t need men to stay relevant and support her crazy lifestyle, Miranda seems desperate, I see why a multibillionaire would go for Mariah.

  6. Frexit says:

I mean, she’s clearly not dating him for his good looks or sparkling personality (he’s a renowned douche).

  7. Denise says:

She gets what she deserves with this one. She has zero dignity. The prerequisite to being a golddigger.

  8. Susie M. says:

I could see myself marrying a billionaire too. *gazes wistfully at the sky*

  9. Craig says:

Is there some template all celebrity publicists must use when announcing their client is “in love” and close to engagement?

Because you could swap out “Miranda” and “Evan” in the Star article with “Taylor” and “Tom” and it would still read perfectly.

    Just sayin’

  10. Micki says:

….”“have been !seriously! speaking about getting engaged,” , which means nothing at all…
What sort of “lock down” is that?
I am seriously speaking about going out for drinks at some point …ok?

  11. Nicole says:

‘Lock down a billionaire’. Look, these ladies have some millions but not the billions these men have. It is a whole different ballgame.

  12. Joni says:

He seems like a massive douche.

  13. Luffy says:

To call Mariah a gold digger but when she previously was married to a man much less rich than her and when she has so much money of her own is an odd choice of words. It’s not like she has a history of trying to chase rich men.

    • Ankhel says:

She hasn’t exactly chased after lots of rich men, no. Still, marrying Tommy Mottola (who was much older and wealthier than her, and head of Sony Music), wasn’t a bad move early in her career, you know?

  14. MoochieMom says:

Responding to the headline: Neither do I.

  15. Starkiller says:

Why is everyone so positive this guy is a douche? Do you all know him personally?
