Jeez they’re moving lightning fast after spending months talking about how they wouldn’t have sex. They got engaged, married and pregnant within 6 months, I think

    • Edwin says:

I’m sorry Audge that u find this so odd but when two people of the opposite sex wait to get married to have sex normally when they do a child can be produced. Also in case u didn’t know that they could’ve gotten married in June or July (I don’t know) and now b two or three months pregnant. Hopefully this cleared some things up for u if not maybe mom or dad will be helpful.

    • Michael Kelly says:

They dated for a year before they got married. Not like they barely know each other.

    • amilu says:

Edwin, no reason to be snide and condescending. Some couples might like to wait a while and just enjoy living as husband and wife before introducing a child into the mix. I’m pretty sure Audge understands the…ins and outs…of biology.

      • Audge says:

        Thanks, amilu!

        I definitely understand biology hahaha.

I just personally really enjoyed spending a few years enjoying married life before adding a child. i can’t imagine dating, getting engaged, married and pregnant in like 18 months.

    • Original T.C. says:

It is quick but that’s exactly the pattern with the “no sex until marriage” Christian fundamentalists (not being disrespectful, just stating facts/statistics). As soon as they are allowed to have sex, they go full hog and usually without birth control so they can start the race for a house full of children (see the Duggards???). I have no issue with it for mature adults.

The problem comes when young adults 18-22years old are forbidden by their religion to have intimate religionships. They rush into marriage barely knowing their significant other more than a year just so they can finally have sex. Then the children come right away. Five-10 years later when they are both fully grown they may be very different people but be stuck in an unhappy marriage that they can’t walk away from.

Mormon boys and girls too have this issue in their communities. I’m not sure if the same rules apply equally to Muslim men and women.

Something nice: happy to see that BOTH of the couple abstained from sex instead of just the woman as isbusually the case in these Christian fundamentalists marriages.

      • Snowflake says:

Yes, I’ve noticed that people who don’t believe in sex before marriage date only for a short time before they get married. Imo, it is a shame because you have horny kids getting married just so they can have sex. They are usually not taught much, if any, about birth control so they get pregnant quickly. They don’t have a chance to enjoy life before being saddled with adult responsibilities. I grew up in this type of environment.

      • Locke Lamora says:

“Muslim men and women” is a very broad term. None of the Muslims I know waited for marriage ti have sex, but they are all from Bosnia which is very very secular.

      • Rose says:

Maybe I misread your comment, original TC. Just in case I didn’t-neither Ciara nor Russell are virgins. Ciara has a child by another man and Russell was previously married for two years (now I’m assuming he had sex within that 2 year period). They seem happy and that’s just wonderful

      • Original T.C. says:

@Rose: I appreciate the correction, I knew about Ciara (Future plus Future Jr.) but I thought Russell was a virgin! That’s the slant the mainstream media was going with.

Thanks. That actually makes me more hopeful for the longitivity of their relationship. Congrats to the expecting parents, that baby won the good looks lottery!

      • Bridget says:

Yep, Russell was married before. Rumor around Seattle was that she cheated and really had a hard time taking a back seat to his football career and his celebrity, but the divorce and split was really quiet.

    • Bridget says:

I’m going to point something out: aside from the religious aspect (and that’s their choice) Russell is notoriously focused on football. I wonder if this is timed so that Ciara will give birth after the football season. Plus, she may not have wanted her older son not to be too much older than his sibling.

  2. Karina says:

Congratulations to Ciara, Russell, and Future on the new baby on the way!

  3. QQ says:

Awesome! Continue your Glo Up Ciara! *Cut to Future Drowning his sorrows In a Cup of Lean*

  4. PurpleNymphe says:

So happy for her and them, she looks truly happy. Don’t care that it happened so soon after they married “after months talking about how they wouldn’t have sex”. I’m just happy that they’re happy together and making a baby from love and happiness.

  5. Amy Tennant says:

Millie Bobby Brown’s interview may not be great, but the editorial looks awesome! She looks like a mini-Joan Jett!

    • Tiffany :) says:

She looks older in the photo shoot, but I am so glad they didn’t make her look sexy. Looking badass is such a better goal!

  6. Amy Tennant says:

The “white babies” article make me yack.

    • pinetree13 says:

I went down the rabbit hole with that one! UGH that Return of the Kings exert was truly horrifying. Can’t believe someone is PROMOTING domestic violence. I’m so disturbed.

      • detritus says:

Return of the Kings is a MRA website.
I’m fairly certain a few years ago they ran pieces about InCels (involuntary ceilbates), who were absolutely positive they had the right to sex.
That they should be provided with this ‘basic right’.

Plus lots of fun stuff on gender roles and other goodies. If you want to hate humanity, read more of their articles.

  7. Joannie says:

I find her absolutely beautiful. He is gross!

  8. KL says:

Ciara is so, so stunning. I’m happy for them 🙂

    • Locke Lamora says:

I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t find her pretty at all.

      • detritus says:

        You may be.
        She is painfully attractive.
Jolie, Ciara, Willow Smith. We’ve touched on a lot of the insanely beautiful women of the celebrity world today. Imagine seeing them in person all the time or at social events. I think I would end up like Kim Zol whatever from the housewives with the plastic face.

      • Locke Lamora says:

I find Willow amd Angelina stunning. Ciara just looks harsh to me.

      • Bridget says:

Ciara came to a friend’s workplace earlier this year. Apparently she is just stunning in person. But as with everything, taste is subjective. We don’t all find the same people and things attractive.

  9. Kimberly says:

    Congrats to CICi and Russell.

  10. jferber says:

I find these 2 insanely hot, separate or together. They are more gorgeous to me than Brad and Angelina. I’d love to see a photo shoot of them now or after the baby.
