I love ChenBot so much. She’s a BAMF and had to deal with so much crap to get to where she is.

  2. Radley says:

2016 took Dr. Seaver but left us with Dr. Huxtable? This year in a nutshell.

    RIP, Alan.

    • lisac says:

That was one of my first thoughts too.

I wanted Jason Seaver to be my dad so much when I was a little girl.

Someone on dlisted commented yesterday (paraphrasing), “Why take Alan Thicke when Kirk Cameron literally asks to be raptured everyday.”
I could not help lol’ing at that.

2016 has been one hellish year.

      RIP Alan Thicke.

      • Lyla says:

        Lol. That’s hilarious.

On a side note, I have the growing pains theme song in my head. “Show me that smile again…”

      • CF98 says:

That sounds rather disrespectful considering Kirk was a friend of Alan’s and he’s nothing like Bill Cosby despite his extremist views. I don’t get the humor in this considering this is probably not something Alan would’ve wanted someone to say upon his death.

I am still not over Anton Yelchin’s death! So preventable and unnecessary! Plus dude was an only child and only 27 years old!
        I hate 2016 too!

Don’t forget Carol Brady too. So they took a tv mom and dad. Watch your backs Betty White and Angela Landsbury.

    • Breakfast Margaritas says:

I loved Dr Huxtable and his wife Claire. It’s good to separate the character from the actor.

This year refuses to let go.
    RIP

  4. JenB says:

    So sad and sudden. 🙁
Such a tough time of year to lose someone.
Say a prayer/thought for our Sandy Hook Angels today as well.

  5. JustCrimmles says:

Geez 😔 I noticed one of those click baity bs links at the bottom of some other story yesterday, saying “Alan Thicke will be missed,” and thought, surely it’s not that he passed.

The invisible sky giant giveth, 2016 taketh away. With both grabby hands.

  6. Boxy Lady says:

Regarding Shania Twain: I think her filler is the most mundane one of all, good old fashioned weight gain. She’s looks like she’s still in good shape but she’s approaching 50 right? It looks like she gained 15 or 20 pounds but it’s spread out. She still looks like herself and healthy and beautiful, I think.

    • Dani says:

100% agree. I expected to see something so obvious. She truly looks great. Maybe touches of fillers or maybe weight gain? But I live in Kuwait where 80% of the women look like Janice from the muppet show so perhaps I am immune.

    • OTHER RENEE says:

Shania looks happy and fabulous. Full stop.

    • minx says:

      Oh, she looks great. Beautiful.

Such sad news and so unexpected. Alan brought a lot of joy to millions of viewers through his work and through his warm and wonderful personality. I wish his loved ones peace and courage during this most difficult of times.

  8. Deeanna says:

How wonderful for Robin Thicke that he had the type of father for whom he could write his tribute.

RIP Alan and sympathy to his family.

  9. CMC says:

One of my favorite T.V. dads. It’s nice to hear such fond things about him from his family and friends. Condolences to them on their loss.
